as_o their_o mind_n come_v true_o to_o be_v exercise_v by_o and_o in_o the_o light_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o that_o by_o walk_v and_o abide_v therein_o come_v to_o have_v their_o mind_n establish_v settle_a and_o stay_v upon_o he_o who_o be_v indeed_o the_o alone_a stay_n of_o his_o people_n and_o rock_n of_o his_o inheritance_n and_o nothing_o can_v be_v find_v in_o the_o heaven_n above_o nor_o in_o the_o earth_n beneath_o that_o be_v able_a to_o satisfy_v or_o stay_v the_o mind_n of_o man_n but_o the_o lord_n the_o mind_n or_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v more_o noble_a more_o excellent_a than_o all_o visible_a thing_n so_o they_o be_v not_o all_o capable_a to_o fill_v or_o satisfy_v his_o soul_n or_o stay_v his_o mind_n though_o he_o may_v possess_v or_o have_v the_o whole_a world_n to_o himself_o yet_o in_o the_o end_n will_v be_v make_v to_o cry_v out_o and_o confess_v with_o the_o preacher_n of_o old_a vanity_n of_o vanity_n all_o be_v vanity_n and_o vexation_n of_o spirit_n etc._n etc._n eccles_n 1._o but_o to_o have_v the_o mind_n stay_v upon_o the_o lord_n there_o be_v pleasure_n peace_n and_o content_a true_o find_v and_o enjoy_v according_a to_o the_o testimony_n of_o that_o divine_a prophet_n isaiab_n who_o say_v speak_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n thou_o will_v keep_v he_o in_o perfect_a peace_n who_o mind_n be_v stay_v upon_o thou_o this_o be_v such_o a_o truth_n that_o none_o know_v but_o he_o that_o have_v it_o it_o may_v be_v soon_o write_v read_v or_o speak_v but_o to_o enjoy_v that_o estate_n be_v more_o than_o word_n it_o be_v the_o end_n sum_n and_o substance_n of_o all_o that_o can_v be_v say_v or_o do_v and_o be_v the_o reward_n of_o the_o righteous_a from_o the_o immediate_a hand_n of_o god_n viz._n to_o be_v keep_v in_o perfect_a peace_n it_o be_v the_o end_n of_o all_o holy_a breathe_n and_o desire_n it_o be_v the_o end_n of_o the_o preach_a the_o gospel_n of_o peace_n and_o salsalvation_n even_o to_o know_v and_o feel_v and_o experience_n the_o peace_n of_o god_n to_o keep_v the_o heart_n and_o to_o keep_v the_o mind_n and_o to_o rule_v there_o this_o be_v a_o bless_a state_n indeed_o worthy_a to_o be_v wait_v for_o and_o press_v after_o by_o all_o that_o have_v a_o sight_n and_o sense_n thereof_o and_o be_v in_o the_o way_n that_o lead_v thereto_o though_o not_o yet_o arrive_v thereat_o go_v forward_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n even_o in_o that_o name_n light_n by_o which_o he_o have_v make_v himself_o know_v unto_o we_o in_o this_o age_n by_o which_o light_n thou_o see_v the_o wander_a and_o unstableness_n of_o thy_o mind_n and_o the_o multitude_n of_o thy_o thought_n imaginatious_a and_o invention_n persevere_v in_o the_o same_o and_o thou_o will_v become_v not_o only_o a_o child_n of_o it_o but_o also_o grow_v from_o a_o child_n estate_n to_o the_o state_n of_o a_o young_a man_n elder_a and_o father_n keep_v the_o faith_n and_o firm_o believe_v that_o which_o show_v thou_o the_o wander_a and_o unstableness_n of_o thy_o mind_n will_v be_v as_o a_o shepherd_n crook_n unto_o thou_o and_o in_o due_a time_n will_v bring_v thou_o back_o into_o the_o fold_n of_o rest_n and_o that_o abld_a and_o persevere_v in_o it_o be_v the_o mean_n and_o there_o be_v not_o any_o other_o way_n or_o mean_n appoint_v of_o god_n to_o bring_v man_n back_o into_o that_o paradisical_a state_n of_o felicity_n he_o lose_v by_o transgression_n and_o to_o the_o establish_v he_o in_o it_o but_o all_o that_o walk_v not_o nor_o ablde_v and_o persevere_v therein_o after_o they_o be_v come_v into_o it_o never_o attain_v to_o that_o bless_a end_n of_o its_o appear_v and_o shine_v to_o they_o for_o a_o bare_a knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n and_o a_o profession_n of_o the_o light_n and_o spirit_n of_o god_n within_o if_o they_o walk_v not_o in_o it_o and_o be_v not_o guide_v and_o lead_v by_o it_o it_o avail_v nothing_o but_o rather_o draw_v down_o fierce_a wrath_n and_o vengeance_n upon_o the_o head_n of_o such_o who_o know_v their_o master_n will_v and_o do_v it_o not_o who_o talk_n and_o profess_v well_o but_o be_v find_v do_v evil_a and_o thereby_o lie_v a_o stumbling-block_n in_o the_o way_n of_o the_o blind_a and_o cause_v the_o way_n of_o truth_n to_o be_v evil_o speak_v of_o and_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n by_o which_o he_o have_v make_v himself_o know_v in_o this_o age_n to_o be_v blaspheme_v by_o reason_n of_o their_o unged_o deed_n under_o a_o profession_n of_o godliness_n and_o cloak_n of_o righteousness_n such_o their_o damnation_n slumber_v not_o and_o this_o i_o testify_v and_o declare_v to_o all_o people_n to_o who_o this_o may_v come_v which_o may_v serve_v also_o as_o a_o caution_n and_o warning_n to_o they_o that_o if_o they_o meet_v with_o any_o under_o the_o name_n form_n and_o profession_n of_o a_o christian_a in_o contempt_n call_v a_o quaker_n who_o in_o his_o converse_n trade_n and_o deal_v commerce_n and_o affair_n do_v not_o let_v his_o yea_o be_v yea_o and_o his_o nay_o nay_o but_o break_v his_o word_n and_o promise_n there_o be_v need_n to_o have_v a_o special_a care_n of_o that_o man_n and_o look_v upon_o he_o as_o one_o false_a and_o deceitful_a to_o the_o holy_a principle_n of_o truth_n and_o as_o a_o hypocrite_n under_o the_o profession_n of_o it_o he_o that_o be_v false_a to_o god_n can_v be_v true_a to_o man_n thou_o have_v better_o trust_v and_o give_v credit_n to_o a_o heathen_a or_o infidel_n than_o to_o such_o a_o one_o no_o wickedness_n beyond_o that_o which_o be_v act_v under_o a_o peculiar_a cloak_n of_o religion_n such_o who_o gain_n credit_n and_o repute_v by_o wear_v this_o cloak_n and_o get_v widow_n and_o orphan_n money_n into_o their_o hand_n to_o create_v great_a trade_n by_o sea_n and_o land_n and_o then_o break_v be_v some_o of_o the_o worse_a sort_n of_o robber_n and_o cheat_n and_o the_o cry_n of_o the_o poor_a fatherless_a and_o widow_n cry_v loud_o against_o they_o this_o be_v a_o short_a testimony_n arise_v in_o my_o heart_n against_o this_o sort_n of_o wickedness_n wherein_o i_o have_v a_o little_a ease_v my_o mind_n and_o in_o the_o truth_n remain_v a_o friend_n to_o all_o
