may_v question_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n grace_n in_o us._n consider_v we_o first_o that_o as_o it_o be_v impossible_a so_o long_o as_o corruption_n remain_v to_o be_v quite_o free_a from_o such_o noisome_a guest_n but_o that_o whatsoever_o mean_n we_o use_v we_o shall_v be_v molest_v with_o they_o continual_o because_o our_o life_n be_v a_o continual_a warfare_n between_o the_o flesh_n and_o pride_n of_o hart_n they_o can_v hardly_o be_v reclaim_v because_o this_o may_v serve_v to_o the_o confusion_n of_o their_o excellency_n &_o wisdom_n so_o be_v just_o seduce_v by_o satan_n and_o obfirm_v against_o all_o recovery_n and_o be_v there_o a_o more_o effectual_a delusion_n to_o harden_v the_o heart_n in_o error_n then_o by_o pervert_v the_o judgement_n further_o that_o it_o shall_v stumble_v at_o the_o true_a light_n esteem_v it_o to_o be_v but_o the_o darkness_n and_o corruption_n of_o nature_n a_o idle_a and_o frivolous_a conceit_n of_o melancholy_n be_v it_o not_o just_a with_o god_n that_o they_o which_o call_v darkness_n light_n because_o they_o love_v the_o darkness_n more_o than_o the_o light_n shall_v also_o be_v give_v up_o to_o a_o further_a delusion_n even_o make_v it_o manifest_a that_o as_o without_o this_o corrupt_a fountain_n all_o motion_n inject_v by_o satan_n or_o occasion_v from_o the_o world_n be_v not_o effectual_a to_o sin_n as_o we_o see_v in_o our_o saviour_n example_n so_o this_o corruption_n of_o the_o heart_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o such_o injected_a thought_n by_o satan_n of_o all_o such_o occasion_v thought_n from_o the_o world_n and_o the_o object_n thereof_o and_o so_o thereby_o convince_a wretched_a man_n to_o be_v the_o sole_a author_n of_o his_o own_o misery_n as_o have_v the_o ground_n and_o matter_n within_o himself_o joh._n 13._o 2_o i_o add_v that_o these_o thought_n proceed_v from_o satan_n as_o be_v inject_v by_o he_o who_o be_v a_o spirit_n can_v insensible_o cast_v evil_a thought_n into_o our_o take_v vengeance_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n by_o be_v occasion_n to_o stir_v up_o delight_n in_o sin_n and_o so_o to_o the_o act_n and_o consummate_v thereof_o and_o so_o be_v subject_n more_o and_o more_o to_o vaâ—â—ty_n by_o our_o abuse_n cease_v not_o to_o groan_n and_o sigh_v in_o their_o kind_n and_o manner_n for_o their_o deliverance_n from_o corruption_n and_o so_o to_o the_o hasten_v of_o eternal_a vengeance_n upon_o man_n the_o cause_n of_o their_o corruption_n discover_v herein_o as_o the_o diverse_a kind_n of_o evil_a thought_n from_o the_o diverse_a ground_n of_o they_o so_o also_o the_o order_n and_o consummation_n of_o evil_a thought_n that_o first_o they_o proceed_v from_o the_o evil_a heart_n 2_o hereupon_o they_o be_v increase_v by_o satan_n iniection_n in_o that_o it_o be_v affect_v and_o infect_v with_o those_o thought_n which_o ascend_v out_o of_o the_o same_o and_o so_o therein_o convince_a it_o desperate_a estate_n in_o sin_n that_o through_o it_o native_a corruption_n be_v fast_o bind_v in_o the_o chain_n thereof_o be_v so_o far_o from_o resist_v the_o first_o motion_n to_o evil_a as_o that_o thereby_o it_o be_v entice_v and_o ensnare_v to_o consent_v thereto_o and_o so_o it_o follow_v that_o from_o this_o consent_n it_o proceed_v to_o the_o act_n of_o evil_a and_o so_o to_o custom_n therein_o and_o so_o to_o the_o benumb_a and_o the_o infinite_a variety_n of_o object_n from_o without_o occasion_v they_o or_o from_o the_o insatiable_a fountain_n of_o corruption_n within_o break_v out_o daily_o to_o innumerable_a and_o these_o different_a according_a either_o to_o complexion_n or_o calling_n or_o company_n or_o condition_n outward_a or_o custom_n and_o habit_n of_o life_n etc._n etc._n or_o from_o the_o unquenchable_a malice_n of_o satan_n either_o stir_v up_o natural_a corruption_n or_o force_v nature_n by_o iniect_v of_o violent_a dart_n of_o venomous_a &_o blasphemous_a thought_n so_o that_o to_o determine_v they_o can_v be_v without_o so_o it_o please_v god_n in_o his_o wisdom_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v accompany_v with_o wander_a thought_n usual_o sometime_o with_o blasphemous_a &_o overioyous_a injection_n both_o to_o discover_v our_o imperfection_n and_o to_o humble_v we_o under_o his_o mighty_a hand_n as_o also_o to_o provoke_v we_o daily_o to_o hunger_n after_o christ_n and_o so_o â—n_v
