the_o parable_n as_o it_o fall_v out_o that_o he_o compare_v himself_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o same_o uncertainty_n of_o his_o come_n to_o the_o secret_a and_o unknown_a come_n of_o a_o thief_n to_o rob_v and_o spoil_v but_o so_o as_o it_o may_v stir_v we_o up_o to_o watchfulness_n he_o be_v content_a to_o bear_v this_o disparagement_n of_o the_o similitude_n for_o his_o part_n and_o again_o revelation_n chapter_n 16._o verse_n 15._o behold_v i_o come_v as_o a_o thief_n bless_a be_v he_o that_o watch_v and_o keep_v his_o garment_n to_o wit_n lest_o they_o be_v steal_v and_o lest_o he_o walk_v naked_a and_o man_n see_v his_o filthiness_n that_o be_v lest_o a_o man_n be_v find_v in_o his_o sin_n through_o his_o neglect_n of_o faith_n and_o repentance_n and_o so_o do_v the_o apostle_n paul_n to_o the_o same_o end_n put_v the_o thessalonian_o in_o mind_n of_o it_o with_o a_o little_a qualify_a of_o the_o harshness_n of_o it_o 1._o epistle_n 5.1.2.3_o but_o of_o the_o time_n and_o season_n brethren_n say_v the_o holy_a apostle_n you_o have_v no_o need_n that_o i_o write_v unto_o you_o for_o you_o yourselves_o know_v perfect_o that_o the_o day_n of_o the_o lord_n shall_v come_v even_o as_o a_o thief_n in_o the_o night_n for_o when_o they_o shall_v say_v peace_n and_o safety_n then_o shall_v come_v upon_o they_o sudden_a destruction_n as_o the_o travel_n upon_o a_o woman_n with_o child_n and_o they_o shall_v not_o escape_v read_v also_o 2_o pet._n 3.10_o thus_o much_o shall_v suffice_v concern_v the_o first_o parable_n of_o the_o master_n of_o the_o family_n keep_v at_o home_n let_v we_o now_o come_v to_o the_o second_o which_o be_v the_o first_o of_o those_o which_o our_o saviour_n give_v forth_o of_o the_o master_n of_o a_o family_n which_o upon_o occasion_n go_v from_o home_n and_o give_v his_o steward_n charge_n to_o oversee_v and_o to_o keep_v his_o family_n in_o good_a order_n question_n in_o what_o word_n be_v this_o parable_n set_v forth_o unto_o we_o answer_n it_o follow_v thus_o from_o the_o 45._o verse_n of_o the_o 24_o chap_n of_o s._n matthew_n 45._o who_o then_o be_v a_o faithful_a servant_n and_o wise_a say_v our_o saviour_n who_o his_o master_n have_v make_v ruler_n over_o his_o household_n to_o give_v they_o meat_n in_o season_n 46._o bless_a be_v that_o servant_n who_o his_o master_n when_o he_o come_v shall_v find_v so_o do_v 47._o very_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o he_o will_v make_v he_o ruler_n over_o all_o his_o good_n 48._o but_o if_o that_o evil_a servant_n shall_v say_v in_o his_o heart_n my_o master_n do_v defer_v his_o come_n 49._o and_o begin_v to_o smite_v his_o fellow_n and_o to_o eat_v and_o drink_v with_o the_o drunken_a 50._o that_o servant_n master_n will_v come_v in_o a_o day_n when_o he_o look_v not_o for_o he_o and_o in_o a_o hour_n that_o he_o be_v not_o ware_n of_o 51._o and_o he_o will_v cut_v he_o off_o and_o give_v he_o his_o portion_n with_o hypocrite_n there_o shall_v be_v weep_v and_o gnash_n of_o tooth_n explication_n explication_n for_o the_o more_o clear_a open_n of_o this_o parable_n it_o shall_v be_v good_a for_o we_o to_o have_v our_o recourse_n to_o the_o evangelist_n luke_n
