it_o will_v not_o be_v needful_a to_o say_v much_o in_o the_o praise_n of_o they_o as_o that_o love_n be_v the_o fulfil_n of_o the_o law_n the_o end_n of_o faith_n the_o badge_n of_o a_o christian_a etc._n etc._n that_o all_o knowledge_n gift_n utterance_n suffering_n be_v in_o vain_a where_o this_o be_v want_v but_o it_o be_v ignorance_n and_o mistake_n concern_v the_o nature_n of_o brotherly_a love_n and_o union_n and_o of_o the_o way_n and_o mean_n that_o lead_v to_o it_o that_o have_v make_v our_o division_n and_o the_o consequence_n of_o they_o so_o mischievous_a to_o the_o church_n of_o god._n for_o the_o unity_n of_o the_o church_n in_o faith_n and_o love_n may_v very_o well_o be_v preserve_v without_o have_v just_o the_o same_o conception_n of_o all_o reveal_v object_n such_o a_o union_n as_o that_o be_v moral_o impossible_a and_o can_v never_o be_v expect_v and_o therefore_o to_o endeavour_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o church_n on_o that_o foundation_n be_v a_o hopeless_a and_o vain_a attempt_n as_o much_o may_v be_v say_v concern_v a_o union_n in_o doubtful_a unscriptural_a rite_n order_n and_o ceremony_n none_o of_o our_o lord_n command_v of_o unity_n or_o direction_n for_o it_o do_v either_o require_v or_o so_o much_o as_o mention_v this_o many_o lesser_a difference_n in_o opinion_n and_o practice_n be_v consistent_a with_o the_o nature_n end_n and_o fruit_n of_o that_o unity_n recommend_v and_o enjoin_v by_o the_o gospel_n if_o such_o difference_n be_v but_o manage_v with_o a_o spirit_n of_o love_n mutual_a forbearance_n and_o condescension_n our_o great_a care_n must_v be_v to_o remember_v our_o relation_n to_o the_o vriversal_a church_n of_o christ_n upon_o earth_n which_o be_v first_o in_o order_n of_o nature_n by_o our_o baptism_n before_o our_o relation_n to_o any_o particular_a church_n and_o be_v both_o more_o noble_a more_o necessary_a and_o more_o durable_a we_o must_v therefore_o take_v heed_n of_o confine_v our_o love_n to_o any_o one_o party_n of_o christian_n because_o of_o our_o mind_n and_o way_n altogether_o as_o unreasonable_a as_o to_o love_v only_o those_o of_o our_o own_o age_n stature_n or_o complexion_n lest_o the_o great_a and_o more_o comprehensive_a interest_n of_o christian_n and_o provestants_n be_v forget_v and_o neglect_v lest_o a_o narrow_a zeal_n for_o a_o small_a party_n of_o christian_n shall_v prejudice_v the_o interest_n of_o the_o universal_a church_n or_o cause_n of_o christianity_n there_o be_v one_o god_n and_o one_o lord_n one_o head_n and_o one_o saviour_n into_o who_o name_n we_o be_v all_o baptise_a one_o covenant_n which_o all_o in_o baptism_n make_v with_o this_o one_o god_n and_o saviour_n one_o spirit_n whereby_o we_o be_v all_o regenerate_v one_o new_a creature_n in_o all_o holy_a christian_n beget_v by_o this_o spirit_n one_o gospel_n the_o rule_n of_o faith_n and_o life_n and_o foundation_n of_o our_o common_a hope_n one_o body_n of_o christ_n both_o mystical_a and_o visible_a all_o real_a christian_n be_v member_n of_o the_o former_a and_o all_o profess_v christian_n of_o the_o latter_a by_o visible_a subjection_n to_o christ_n as_o their_o head_n one_o way_n of_o faith_n and_o holiness_n wherein_o all_o must_v walk_v one_o end_n and_o happiness_n which_o all_o expect_v and_o one_o heaven_n where_o all_o the_o child_n of_o god_n shall_v meet_v and_o live_v forever_o however_o they_o fall_v out_o by_o the_o way_n with_o one_o mind_n and_o heart_n in_o one_o bless_a work_n of_o praise_v our_o creator_n redeemer_n and_o sanctifier_n from_o hence_o can_v but_o result_v a_o obligation_n to_o brotherly_a love_n and_o unity_n in_o seek_v the_o peace_n and_o prosperity_n of_o the_o whole_a christian_a church_n not_o reproach_v other_o as_o heretic_n not_o think_v and_o speak_v and_o act_n as_o we_o do_v how_o unbecoming_a be_v it_o the_o disciple_n of_o the_o prince_n of_o peace_n his_o minister_n especial_o to_o render_v the_o great_a part_n of_o christian_n odious_a and_o tempt_v the_o weak_a to_o slander_n judge_n and_o envy_n which_o be_v fruit_n of_o the_o flesh_n if_o ever_o god_n will_v heal_n his_o break_a church_n a_o spirit_n of_o love_n and_o unity_n and_o moderation_n must_v be_v revive_v instead_o of_o fierce_a divide_v zeal_n and_o the_o h._n scripture_n alone_o be_v think_v a_o sufficient_a rule_n and_o not_o man_n
