that_o thou_o have_v this_o whole_a furniture_n seek_v not_o all_o grace_n seek_v they_o not_o for_o there_o be_v none_o that_o have_v all_o grace_n have_v the_o eye_n all_o grace_n nay_o the_o spirit_n every_o man_n must_v not_o have_v all_o gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n foot_n have_v a_o grace_n that_o the_o eye_n have_v not_o seek_v then_o for_o grace_n but_o so_o that_o it_o be_v without_o a_o ambitious_a desire_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o other_o be_v ever_o provide_v that_o you_o want_v not_o some_o of_o this_o furniture_n strive_v to_o excel_v in_o the_o grace_n of_o regeneration_n with_o all_o the_o world_n but_o in_o other_o grace_n strive_v not_o then_o you_o see_v this_o first_o effect_n of_o furnish_v it_o follow_v upon_o the_o joint_n and_o band_n so_o that_o if_o thou_o have_v not_o the_o joint_n and_o band_n thou_o can_v not_o have_v the_o furniture_n of_o grace_n therefore_o look_v that_o thou_o have_v the_o spirit_n otherwise_o thou_o shall_v get_v no_o life_n sense_n move_v nor_o sanctification_n i_o repeat_v it_o again_o look_v thou_o have_v the_o band_n or_o else_o thou_o shall_v not_o be_v in_o the_o mystical_a body_n of_o christ_n so_o to_o the_o that_o knit_v the_o member_n among_o themselves_o that_o knit_v thou_o with_o thy_o neighbour_n and_o make_v a_o mutual_a band_n of_o love_n among_o the_o member_n this_o effect_n be_v wrought_v by_o the_o head_n who_o bind_v all_o so_o sure_o together_o as_o be_v unspeakable_a nay_o no_o man_n can_v express_v that_o sure_a conjunction_n this_o band_n will_v make_v the_o force_n of_o the_o word_n favour_v as_o this_o be_v therefore_o the_o apostle_n to_o the_o ephes_n 4._o 16._o use_v a_o word_n signify_v a_o harmony_n and_o comely_a situation_n of_o the_o part_n when_o thou_o see_v that_o body_n thou_o see_v a_o most_o pleasant_a situation_n to_o insist_v in_o this_o effect_n of_o knit_v this_o effect_n it_o go_v before_o the_o other_o first_o thing_n must_v be_v knit_v together_o and_o then_o come_v the_o furniture_n so_o mark_v this_o order_n if_o first_o there_o must_v be_v a_o compact_n and_o then_o the_o furniture_n i_o give_v thou_o a_o lesson_n look_v never_o to_o get_v be_v to_o be_v greet_v be_v of_o two_o sort_n first_o the_o brethren_n which_o be_v at_o laodicea_n and_o the_o rather_o he_o intreat_v this_o because_o he_o will_v have_v this_o epistle_n read_v among_o they_o second_o a_o certain_a man_n name_v nymphas_n together_o salutation_n the_o member_n of_o the_o church_n special_o to_o be_v regard_v in_o our_o salutation_n with_o the_o church_n that_o be_v in_o his_o house_n from_o whence_o we_o may_v perceive_v that_o among_o they_o of_o laodicea_n he_o will_v only_o have_v they_o to_o be_v greet_v that_o be_v brethren_n by_o which_o name_n he_o mean_v they_o that_o be_v son_n of_o one_o father_n to_o wit_n god_n and_o adopt_v into_o that_o grace_n be_v ingraff_v into_o christ_n through_o faith_n the_o reason_n whereof_o be_v plain_a because_o with_o they_o alone_o and_o with_o no_o other_o we_o be_v conjoin_v and_o as_o it_o be_v make_v one_o in_o christ_n and_o as_o for_o salutation_n and_o greeting_n they_o be_v certain_a mean_n that_o god_n have_v appoint_v to_o preserve_v and_o maintain_v that_o unity_n and_o conjunction_n that_o the_o member_n of_o christ_n have_v among_o themselves_o which_o howsoever_o as_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o body_n they_o be_v distinguish_v and_o separate_v one_o from_o another_o in_o this_o present_a life_n yet_o feel_v they_o here_o the_o communion_n of_o saint_n and_o have_v hope_n in_o their_o heart_n of_o inseparable_a conjunction_n with_o their_o head_n christ_n and_o with_o that_o whole_a holy_a body_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v another_o thing_n that_o we_o may_v learn_v hence_o be_v in_o the_o person_n of_o nymphas_n who_o be_v the_o father_n of_o a_o family_n or_o master_n of_o a_o household_n teach_v we_o what_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o such_o as_o be_v in_o that_o call_n namely_o so_o to_o govern_v their_o family_n and_o household_n duty_n parent_n and_o householder_n duty_n and_o so_o to_o instruct_v they_o in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n and_o salvation_n that_o they_o may_v be_v well_o enure_v with_o integrity_n of_o life_n and_o sanctimony_n and_o so_o have_v they_o particular_a congregation_n as_o it_o be_v famous_a and_o worthy_a commendation_n among_o all_o the_o godly_a for_o faith_n and_o holiness_n but_o what_o man_n be_v he_o i_o will_v not_o say_v that_o strive_v to_o this_o but_o that_o think_v of_o it_o at_o the_o least_o careful_o from_o whence_o it_o flow_v that_o not_o only_a people_n proceed_v to_o profaneness_n but_o the_o church_n be_v not_o increase_v which_o can_v be_v till_o special_a family_n which_o make_v particular_a congregation_n be_v well_o and_o thorough_o reform_v but_o we_o will_v leave_v this_o and_o proceed_v to_o that_o which_o follow_v the_o two_o next_o verse_n contain_v in_o they_o the_o five_o part_n of_o this_o four_o chapter_n and_o they_o do_v contain_v in_o they_o certain_a special_a point_n which_o he_o give_v in_o charge_n to_o the_o colossian_n concern_v partly_o their_o own_o benefit_n and_o partly_o the_o good_a of_o the_o laodicean_n the_o first_o thing_n he_o charge_v they_o withal_o be_v that_o after_o this_o epistle_n have_v be_v read_v among_o the_o colossian_n church_n fill_v up_o the_o whole_a man_n christ_n make_v of_o the_o head_n the_o lord_n jesus_n himself_o and_o of_o the_o body_n this_o for_o the_o word_n if_o this_o point_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o christ_n be_v weigh_v that_o he_o be_v the_o head_n of_o the_o church_n it_o be_v a_o high_a point_n of_o glory_n the_o lord_n have_v great_a glory_n by_o this_o that_o he_o be_v the_o head_n of_o the_o church_n of_o the_o godly_a and_o holy_a one_o man_n and_o angel_n then_o by_o that_o that_o he_o be_v the_o dominator_fw-la over_o all_o creature_n over_o the_o devil_n and_o all_o the_o multitude_n of_o reprobate_n and_o as_o it_o be_v high_a so_o it_o be_v in_o communicable_a no_o not_o the_o angel_n get_v this_o honour_n to_o be_v call_v the_o head_n of_o the_o church_n let_v be_v stink_a flesh_n will_v thou_o set_v up_o a_o pope_n and_o call_v he_o the_o head_n of_o the_o church_n a_o plain_a derogation_n of_o christ_n honour_n thou_o will_v come_v out_o with_o a_o ministerial_a head_n in_o the_o church_n away_o with_o thou_o and_o thy_o ministerial_a head_n both_o there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n look_v the_o whole_a scripture_n scripture_n no_o ministerial_a head_n in_o scripture_n through_o thou_o shall_v read_v of_o a_o minister_n in_o the_o church_n but_o thou_o shall_v never_o read_v a_o word_n of_o a_o ministerial_a head_n or_o vicar_n of_o christ_n but_o will_v you_o know_v how_o he_o come_v to_o this_o glory_n yea_o to_o speak_v it_o so_o before_o he_o come_v to_o this_o glory_n there_o be_v much_o ado_n and_o great_a stir_n and_o business_n in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o a_o great_a hardness_n the_o pope_n he_o will_v start_v up_o to_o it_o at_o the_o first_o dash_n before_o christ_n come_v to_o this_o glory_n heaven_n and_o earth_n this_o son_n of_o god_n be_v humble_v and_o his_o glory_n be_v wonderful_o obscure_v read_v philip._n 2._o 6._o 7._o and_o there_o you_o shall_v see_v the_o whole_a manner_n of_o it_o jesus_n say_v description_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n in_o the_o which_o mark_v this_o as_o before_o we_o hear_v many_o ground_n of_o redemption_n make_v by_o his_o blood_n so_o in_o this_o point_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o christ_n there_o be_v another_o ground_n of_o our_o redemption_n as_o thy_o redeemer_n be_v the_o image_n of_o god_n the_o creator_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o so_o forth_o as_o you_o hear_v he_o define_v before_o so_o thy_o redeemer_n he_o be_v the_o glorious_a head_n of_o the_o church_n yea_o he_o be_v thy_o own_o head_n and_o thou_o be_v a_o member_n of_o he_o so_o thou_o see_v not_o only_o a_o glorious_a redeemer_n but_o a_o sib_n a_o kinsman_n redeemer_n therefore_o precious_a must_v that_o blood_n be_v and_o of_o necessity_n if_o thou_o believe_v in_o this_o blood_n thou_o must_v be_v redeem_v to_o go_v forward_o here_o follow_v the_o seven_o part_n of_o his_o description_n and_o the_o seven_o point_n of_o his_o glory_n the_o beginning_n and_o the_o first_o beget_v of_o the_o dead_a you_o hear_v he_o be_v call_v the_o first_o bear_v of_o all_o creature_n because_o he_o be_v before_o they_o all_o and_o not_o for_o that_o only_o be_v he_o call_v so_o but_o because_o he_o give_v the_o be_v to_o all_o creature_n all_o creature_n be_v create_v by_o virtue_n of_o he_o and_o by_o participation_n of_o that_o be_v that_o be_v in_o he_o for_o the_o first_o the_o part_n of_o it_o all_o thing_n both_o in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n this_o universal_a particle_n all_o thing_n extend_v not_o to_o all_o creature_n yea_o it_o extend_v not_o to_o all_o reasonable_a creature_n it_o extend_v not_o to_o the_o devil_n no_o reconciliation_n with_o the_o devil_n nor_o with_o the_o angel_n that_o make_v that_o foul_a defection_n i_o tell_v you_o more_o it_o extend_v not_o to_o all_o man_n and_o woman_n no_o reconciliation_n with_o the_o reprobate_n for_o ever_o they_o be_v in_o rank_n with_o the_o devil_n himself_o this_o reconciliation_n it_o extend_v then_o to_o the_o bless_a angel_n who_o have_v stand_v from_o the_o beginning_n it_o extend_v to_o man_n and_o woman_n not_o to_o all_o but_o to_o the_o choose_a and_o elect_a one_o from_o all_o eternity_n now_o there_o be_v no_o question_n of_o sinful_a man_n all_o will_v grant_v that_o man_n who_o be_v choose_v to_o life_n howbeit_o before_o he_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o god_n yet_o now_o in_o time_n he_o be_v reconcile_v to_o he_o but_o all_o the_o question_n be_v about_o the_o bless_a angel_n that_o fall_v not_o from_o god_n how_o can_v it_o be_v say_v that_o they_o be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n well_o i_o will_v not_o be_v curious_a if_o you_o will_v consider_v these_o bless_a angel_n in_o themselves_o he_o whether_o the_o elect_a angel_n be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n by_o christ_n or_o what_o benefit_n they_o have_v by_o he_o apart_o from_o the_o body_n which_o be_v the_o church_n indeed_o it_o be_v true_a they_o can_v proper_o be_v say_v to_o be_v reconcile_v because_o they_o be_v never_o at_o feud_n or_o enmity_n with_o god_n for_o reconciliation_n as_o you_o have_v hear_v import_v a_o feud_n but_o if_o you_o consider_v they_o in_o the_o body_n in_o a_o manner_n they_o may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v reconcile_v in_o the_o body_n for_o howbeit_o they_o be_v bind_v up_o without_o the_o body_n yet_o they_o must_v ever_o be_v consider_v to_o be_v in_o the_o body_n and_o so_o in_o the_o body_n they_o get_v a_o new_a conjunction_n with_o god_n through_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n the_o estate_n of_o the_o bless_a angel_n before_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n it_o be_v this_o they_o hang_v as_o it_o be_v by_o the_o head_n to_o speak_v it_o so_o by_o a_o stitch_n as_o certain_a member_n sever_v from_o the_o body_n when_o christ_n come_v in_o he_o couple_n they_o together_o he_o make_v man_n and_o angel_n all_o up_o together_o fast_a than_o ever_o they_o be_v before_o so_o to_o leave_v this_o you_o may_v see_v the_o very_a bless_a angel_n who_o
