member_n of_o christ_n by_o faith_n even_o than_o be_v he_o ready_o most_o strong_o to_o assault_v they_o to_o overthrow_v if_o it_o be_v possible_a the_o foundation_n of_o their_o faith_n where_o he_o compare_v the_o devil_n to_o a_o envious_a midwife_n oppose_v he_o to_o a_o good_a midwife_n for_o as_o she_o be_v careful_a to_o help_v the_o woman_n in_o travel_n and_o to_o save_v the_o child_n so_o the_o devil_n contrariwise_o be_v ready_a to_o hinder_v and_o hurt_v the_o church_n and_o to_o destroy_v her_o seed_n whereas_o the_o church_n be_v say_v to_o bring_v forth_o a_o man-child_n it_o be_v first_o mean_v of_o christ_n and_o then_o of_o his_o member_n and_o servant_n in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o church_n who_o now_o he_o have_v join_v unto_o he_o in_o his_o for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n which_o be_v begin_v even_o in_o earth_n the_o principal_a in_o this_o battle_n be_v first_o michael_n to_o wit_n christ_n and_o with_o he_o his_o angel_n namely_o be_v wound_v be_v even_o cut_v off_o by_o their_o evil_n and_o wicked_a live_n and_o especial_o by_o the_o cruelty_n of_o nero_n insomuch_o that_o they_o think_v their_o empire_n be_v like_a to_o come_v to_o confusion_n which_o indeed_o have_v come_v to_o pass_v if_o it_o have_v not_o be_v uphold_v and_o maintain_v by_o the_o discreet_a counsel_n of_o those_o that_o follow_v which_o be_v more_o wise_a politic_a and_o subtle_a than_o the_o other_o notwithstanding_o they_o be_v wicked_a man_n so_o that_o by_o these_o it_o be_v restore_v again_o yea_o though_o it_o be_v even_o almost_o issue_n and_o first_o he_o move_v attention_n if_o any_o man_n say_v he_o have_v a_o ear_n to_o hear_v let_v he_o hear_v will_v they_o thereby_o to_o take_v heed_n to_o that_o which_o be_v speak_v and_o which_o after_o he_o be_v to_o speak_v to_o the_o terror_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o the_o comfort_n and_o good_a of_o the_o saint_n and_o of_o the_o godly_a and_o he_o say_v if_o any_o lead_n into_o captivity_n he_o shall_v be_v lead_v into_o captivity_n etc._n etc._n to_o show_v that_o what_o measure_n they_o have_v mete_v to_o other_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v measure_v to_o they_o and_o as_o they_o have_v deal_v with_o other_o so_o they_o shall_v be_v deal_v withal_o themselves_o and_o in_o this_o point_n say_v he_o stand_v the_o faith_n and_o patience_n of_o the_o saint_n faith_n to_o believe_v that_o god_n will_v bring_v this_o judgement_n on_o the_o wicked_a their_o patience_n in_o that_o upon_o this_o assurance_n of_o this_o justice_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o wicked_a they_o shall_v patient_o bear_v those_o correction_n and_o trouble_n which_o shall_v befall_v they_o and_o patient_o also_o wait_v for_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o those_o judgement_n of_o god_n upon_o their_o oppressor_n and_o thus_o far_o of_o the_o judgement_n which_o the_o church_n of_o the_o gentile_n shall_v suffer_v by_o the_o cruelty_n of_o the_o roman_a empire_n afterward_o follow_v the_o trouble_n that_o befall_v the_o church_n by_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n who_o be_v hereby_o note_v and_o set_v forth_o unto_o we_o namely_o in_o that_o it_o be_v say_v there_o appear_v another_o beast_n like_o a_o lamb_n signify_v that_o howsoever_o this_o other_o beast_n of_o rome_n be_v most_o brutish_a and_o void_a of_o humanity_n and_o virtue_n and_o this_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v of_o the_o pope_n for_o he_o profess_v himself_o to_o be_v the_o servant_n of_o servant_n but_o in_o deed_n and_o practice_n he_o make_v himself_o lord_n of_o lord_n and_o this_o be_v not_o only_o they_o in_o that_o false_a doctrine_n which_o he_o shall_v receive_v from_o the_o dragon_n which_o show_v that_o he_o be_v a_o false_a and_o lie_a prophet_n as_o receive_v his_o office_n and_o doctrine_n from_o the_o father_n of_o lie_n which_o be_v the_o devil_n in_o that_o he_o cause_v the_o earth_n to_o worship_v the_o first_o beast_n be_v mean_v that_o subjection_n which_o he_o do_v pretend_v to_o the_o empire_n in_o outward_a show_n and_o so_o far_o forth_o only_o as_o his_o profit_n will_v serve_v albeit_o indeed_o he_o do_v exalt_v himself_o above_o the_o emperor_n and_o he_o
