highness_n and_o glorious_a majesty_n of_o the_o man_n that_o be_v become_v our_o advocate_n say_v the_o text_n it_o be_v jesus_n christ_n we_o have_v a_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n jesus_n christ._n now_o that_o he_o shall_v become_v a_o advocate_n that_o he_o shall_v embrace_v such_o a_o employ_v as_o this_o of_o his_o advocateship_n let_v this_o be_v a_o wonderment_n and_o so_o be_v account_v but_o let_v we_o come_v to_o the_o four_o use._n use_v 4._o four_o be_v it_o so_o be_v jesus_n christ_n the_o saviour_n also_o become_v our_o advocate_n then_o let_v we_o labour_n to_o make_v that_o improvement_n of_o this_o doctrine_n as_o tend_v to_o strengthen_v our_o grace_n and_o we_o in_o the_o management_n of_o they_o indeed_o this_o shall_v be_v the_o use_n that_o we_o shall_v make_v of_o all_o the_o office_n of_o christ_n but_o let_v we_o at_o this_o time_n concern_v ourselves_o about_o this_o let_v i_o say_v the_o poor_a christian_a thus_o expostulate_v with_o himself_o 1._o be_v christ_n jesus_n the_o lord_n my_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n then_o awake_v my_o faith_n and_o shake_v thyself_o like_o a_o giant_n stir_v up_o thyself_o and_o be_v not_o in_o the_o text_n for_o it_o say_v we_o have_v a_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n therefore_o thither_o our_o faith_n shall_v go_v for_o help_n and_o relief_n in_o the_o day_n of_o our_o strait_n i_o say_v we_o shall_v have_v our_o faith_n to_o god_n judgment-seat_n and_o show_v it_o there_o by_o the_o glass_n of_o our_o text_n what_o satan_n be_v do_v against_o and_o the_o lord_n jesus_n for_o our_o soul_n we_o shall_v also_o show_v it_o how_o the_o lord_n jesus_n carry_v away_o every_o cause_n from_o the_o devil_n and_o from_o before_o the_o judgment-seat_n to_o the_o comfort_n of_o the_o child_n the_o joy_n of_o angel_n and_o the_o shame_n of_o the_o enemy_n this_o will_v strengthen_v and_o support_v our_o faith_n indeed_o and_o will_v make_v we_o more_o able_a than_o for_o the_o most_o part_n we_o be_v to_o apply_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n to_o ourselves_o and_o hereafter_o to_o give_v more_o strong_a repulse_n to_o satan_n it_o be_v easy_a with_o a_o man_n when_o he_o know_v that_o his_o advocate_n have_v overthrow_v his_o enemy_n at_o the_o king_n bench_n bar_n or_o court_n of_o common_a plea_n less_o to_o fear_v he_o the_o next_o time_n he_o see_v he_o and_o more_o bold_o to_o answer_v he_o when_o he_o renew_v his_o threat_n upon_o he_o let_v faith_n then_o be_v strengthen_v from_o its_o be_v exercise_v about_o the_o advocateship_n of_o jesus_n christ._n second_o as_o we_o shall_v make_v use_n of_o christ_n advocateship_n for_o the_o strengthen_n of_o our_o faith_n so_o we_o also_o shall_v make_v use_n thereof_o to_o the_o encourage_n of_o we_o

have_v his_o sin_n forgive_v he_o that_o by_o justice_n he_o must_v be_v justify_v for_o christ_n as_o a_o advocate_n plead_v for_o justice_n justice_n to_o himself_o and_o this_o saint_n be_v of_o himself_o a_o member_n of_o his_o body_n of_o his_o flesh_n and_o of_o his_o bone_n nor_o have_v satan_n so_o good_a a_o right_a to_o plead_v justice_n against_o we_o though_o we_o have_v sin_v that_o we_o may_v be_v damn_v as_o christ_n have_v to_o plead_v it_o though_o we_o have_v sin_v that_o we_o may_v be_v save_v for_o sin_n can_v cry_v so_o loud_o to_o justice_n as_o can_v the_o blood_n of_o i_o say_v again_o be_v confound_v to_o think_v that_o sin_n shall_v be_v a_o thing_n so_o horrible_a of_o power_n to_o pollute_v to_o captivate_v and_o detain_v we_o from_o god_n that_o without_o
