quick_a and_o the_o dead_a see_v he_o be_v here_o on_o earth_n already_o the_o scripture_n tell_v we_o for_o his_o ascension_n 1.9_o act_n 1.9_o that_o in_o the_o sight_n and_o behold_v of_o the_o bless_a apostle_n yea_o while_o they_o look_v steadfast_o towards_o heaven_n he_o be_v take_v up_o let_v they_o show_v so_o much_o for_o his_o bodily_a abode_n upon_o earth_n and_o prove_v it_o by_o such_o substantial_a witness_n and_o we_o be_v ready_a to_o yield_v beside_o we_o know_v by_o the_o word_n and_o therefore_o believe_v it_o that_o as_o he_o be_v see_v go_v into_o heaven_n 1.10_o act_n 1.10_o so_o shall_v he_o come_v again_o but_o he_o be_v see_v to_o ascend_v thither_o bodily_a and_o therefore_o so_o shall_v he_o return_v from_o thence_o again_o i_o suppose_v they_o will_v thereby_o in_o this_o article_n of_o our_o belief_n but_o the_o great_a glory_n that_o be_v in_o heaven_n prepare_v for_o the_o saint_n and_o that_o most_o excellent_a blessedness_n that_o belong_v to_o they_o whereof_o our_o saviour_n christ_n be_v in_o a_o most_o full_a measure_n make_v by_o his_o ascension_n into_o heaven_n as_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o humanity_n absolute_a partaker_n what_o can_v they_o gain_v do_v they_o imagine_v that_o it_o will_v heerupon_o ensue_v that_o christ_n shall_v be_v every_o where_o and_o by_o consequent_a on_o earth_n but_o they_o be_v deceive_v for_o why_o do_v they_o not_o as_o well_o consider_v the_o word_n sit_v which_o impli_v local_a residence_n in_o a_o place_n or_o do_v they_o not_o know_v and_o believe_v that_o heaven_n itself_o be_v not_o every_o where_n but_o local_a rather_o or_o will_v they_o not_o see_v that_o without_o warrant_n of_o the_o word_n yea_o contrary_a to_o the_o same_o which_o in_o sundry_a place_n oppose_v heaven_n and_o earth_n one_o of_o they_o against_o another_o or_o sense_n of_o humane_a judgement_n they_o jumble_v and_o confound_v they_o together_o reason_n will_v lead_v we_o to_o this_o that_o none_o can_v be_v say_v to_o go_v up_o into_o the_o place_n where_o he_o be_v or_o to_o come_v down_o from_o it_o when_o he_o remain_v there_o and_o though_o we_o mind_n not_o to_o subject_v our_o saviour_n special_o as_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o eternal_a godhead_n to_o humane_a sense_n yet_o by_o the_o same_o we_o may_v and_o aught_o to_o be_v lead_v not_o to_o destroy_v the_o essential_a property_n of_o his_o manhood_n now_o then_o whether_o shall_v we_o believe_v this_o truth_n of_o the_o lord_n or_o man_n fantasy_n that_o go_v about_o to_o pervert_v our_o persuasion_n and_o deceive_v our_o understanding_n let_v man_n of_o the_o world_n deem_v what_o they_o lust_n this_o be_v the_o truth_n that_o god_n have_v sanctify_v unto_o we_o in_o his_o word_n and_o i_o do_v steadfast_o believe_v it_o in_o my_o heart_n and_o will_v through_o god_n goodness_n and_o strength_n always_o confess_v the_o same_o with_o my_o mouth_n that_o from_o the_o very_a time_n of_o christ_n ascension_n into_o heaven_n 2d_o acts._n 3_o 2d_o the_o heaven_n must_v contain_v his_o natural_a body_n until_o the_o time_n that_o all_o thing_n be_v restore_v that_o be_v even_o to_o the_o world_n end_n 5_o fiftlie_o i_o say_v that_o this_o opinion_n do_v uniustlie_o deprive_v we_o of_o all_o such_o spiritual_a grace_n and_o comfort_n for_o our_o conscience_n as_o god_n the_o father_n in_o his_o son_n christ_n by_o send_v the_o holy_a ghost_n the_o three_o person_n in_o the_o deity_n have_v not_o only_o promise_v but_o in_o good_a time_n will_v perform_v and_o bestow_v upon_o the_o whole_a church_n general_o and_o every_o sound_a particular_a member_n of_o the_o same_o yea_o if_o we_o weigh_v it_o well_o we_o shall_v find_v that_o it_o be_v the_o ruin_n and_o bane_n of_o the_o church_n itself_o both_o in_o the_o whole_a body_n of_o it_o and_o in_o the_o several_a part_n our_o saviour_n himself_o in_o most_o plain_a and_o express_v term_n faith_n 16.7_o john_n 16.7_o i_o tell_v you_o the_o truth_n it_o be_v expedient_a for_o you_o that_o i_o go_v away_o for_o if_o i_o go_v not_o away_o the_o comforter_n will_v not_o come_v unto_o you_o but_o if_o i_o depart_v i_o
