in_o danger_n of_o the_o law_n will_v refuse_v his_o prince_n pardon_n though_o bring_v unto_o he_o by_o he_o that_o be_v never_o so_o wicked_a a_o man_n or_o who_o will_v think_v that_o pardon_n the_o less_o forceible_a and_o available_a because_o such_o a_o man_n bring_v it_o let_v we_o not_o then_o refuse_v god_n ordinance_n for_o the_o evil_a life_n sake_n of_o the_o minister_n that_o be_v to_o administer_v it_o unto_o we_o always_o remember_v this_o that_o if_o he_o be_v a_o sinful_a and_o unworthy_a man_n the_o sin_n be_v he_o but_o if_o i_o refuse_v it_o at_o his_o hand_n because_o he_o be_v such_o a_o one_o the_o sin_n be_v i_o and_o i_o shall_v not_o answer_v for_o his_o sin_n but_o for_o my_o own_o neglect_n ix._o case_n how_o often_o be_v a_o man_n bind_v in_o conscience_n to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n solution_n there_o be_v no_o set_a time_n nor_o time_n for_o this_o prescribe_v in_o the_o scripture_n neither_o have_v the_o practice_n that_o at_o least_o once_o a_o year_n it_o shall_v be_v receive_v and_o therefore_o in_o this_o variety_n of_o 165._o practice_n we_o must_v for_o our_o better_a guidance_n herein_o observe_v the_o circumstance_n of_o necessity_n conveniency_n and_o utility_n for_o the_o first_o it_o be_v true_a that_o we_o have_v daily_a need_n of_o the_o remembrance_n of_o christ_n death_n and_o consequent_o receive_n of_o this_o sacrament_n the_o same_o must_v moderate_v our_o necessity_n so_o that_o we_o shall_v as_o well_o look_v to_o our_o fitness_n as_o to_o our_o need_n but_o yet_o in_o the_o three_o place_n the_o due_a consideration_n of_o the_o inestimable_a benefit_n and_o comfort_n we_o obtain_v by_o receive_v this_o sacrament_n must_v stir_v we_o up_o so_o oft_o as_o with_o conveniency_n we_o may_v to_o be_v partaker_n of_o 13._o this_o bless_a banquet_n so_o that_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a we_o may_v every_o day_n be_v fit_a to_o communicate_v or_o at_o least_o so_o often_o as_o the_o sacrament_n be_v administer_v x._o case_n what_o quantity_n of_o bread_n and_o wine_n must_v be_v take_v by_o he_o that_o receive_v solution_n so_o much_o of_o each_o as_o may_v give_v both_o nourish_a and_o cheer_v to_o the_o body_n and_o therefore_o that_o custom_n take_v up_o by_o the_o young_a sort_n of_o only_o kiss_v the_o cup_n or_o take_v but_o a_o drop_n or_o two_o of_o wine_n into_o their_o mouth_n be_v not_o to_o be_v approve_v for_o christ_n ordinance_n be_v not_o to_o sip_v but_o to_o 27._o drink_v at_o the_o communion_n xi_o case_n whether_o such_o person_n as_o be_v at_o contention_n and_o go_v to_o law_n one_o with_o another_o may_v with_o good_a conscience_n come_v to_o the_o lord_n table_n solution_n questionless_a they_o may_v so_o that_o they_o go_v to_o law_n lawful_o for_o it_o be_v a_o true_a rule_n in_o law_n both_o divine_a and_o human_a which_o the_o apostle_n set_v down_o in_o 1_o tim._n 1._o 8._o that_o the_o law_n be_v good_a if_o a_o man_n use_v it_o lawful_o now_o to_o use_v the_o law_n lawful_o there_o be_v these_o condition_n require_v 1._o that_o it_o be_v do_v not_o for_o every_o little_a trifle_n which_o will_v bear_v a_o action_n but_o only_o for_o such_o thing_n as_o if_o they_o be_v not_o remedy_v will_v breed_v a_o further_a inconvenience_n and_o which_o nothing_o but_o law_n can_v remedy_v 2._o that_o it_o be_v not_o do_v out_o of_o a_o covetous_a mind_n to_o have_v from_o another_o more_o than_o in_o conscience_n he_o think_v be_v his_o due_n but_o only_o desire_v to_o preserve_v his_o own_o right_n which_o by_o god_n law_n and_o man_n belong_v unto_o he_o 3._o that_o it_o be_v not_o do_v out_o of_o a_o ambitious_a mind_n more_o to_o get_v the_o victory_n of_o his_o adversary_n than_o to_o gain_v the_o truth_n 4._o that_o it_o be_v not_o do_v fraudulent_o by_o any_o unlawful_a and_o unjust_a mean_n as_o by_o bribery_n subordination_n of_o witness_n to_o support_v a_o bad_a cause_n or_o the_o like_a 5._o that_o there_o have_v be_v use_v all_o lawful_a mean_n before_o to_o compromise_n it_o by_o reference_n to_o christian_a neighbour_n and_o friend_n and_o by_o be_v willing_a to_o part_v with_o some_o of_o his_o right_n for_o peace_n and_o quietness_n sake_n rather_o than_o to_o try_v extremity_n of_o law_n 6._o and_o last_o above_o all_o that_o it_o be_v not_o do_v uncharitable_o out_o of_o desire_n to_o be_v revenge_v on_o his_o adversary_n more_o than_o to_o have_v his_o wrong_n right_v and_o because_o this_o last_o be_v the_o main_a obstacle_n of_o all_o because_o where_o charity_n be_v want_v there_o can_v be_v no_o fitness_n to_o receive_v this_o sacrament_n therefore_o all_o that_o go_v to_o law_n shall_v be_v well_o advise_v and_o make_v a_o narrow_a search_n into_o their_o heart_n which_o be_v deceitful_a above_o all_o thing_n and_o in_o this_o more_o than_o in_o any_o other_o thing_n because_o of_o self-love_n and_o self-seeking_a end_n whether_o they_o can_v hate_v the_o wrong_n do_v without_o hatred_n to_o the_o person_n do_v it_o for_o they_o that_o can_v do_v so_o let_v their_o pretence_n be_v otherways_o what_o they_o will_v they_o be_v not_o fit_a guest_n for_o the_o lord_n table_n certain_a excuse_n make_v and_o pretend_v by_o ignorant_a people_n for_o not_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n so_o often_o as_o they_o
