be_v make_v of_o the_o lord_n deal_n and_o what_o be_v require_v of_o a_o people_n so_o deal_v with_o have_v we_o be_v timely_o awake_v and_o take_v warning_n either_o from_o the_o exemplary_a judgement_n of_o other_o nation_n or_o from_o god_n threaten_n by_o the_o mouth_n of_o his_o servant_n among_o ourselves_o or_o from_o our_o own_o former_a visitation_n and_o namely_o the_o sword_n threaten_v and_o draw_v against_o we_o both_o at_o home_n and_o from_o abroad_o but_o at_o that_o time_n through_o the_o forbearance_n of_o god_n put_v up_o in_o the_o sheath_n again_o we_o may_v have_v prevent_v the_o misery_n under_o which_o now_o we_o groan_v but_o the_o cup_n of_o tremble_a before_o take_v out_o of_o our_o hand_n be_v again_o come_v about_o to_o we_o that_o we_o may_v drink_v deep_o of_o it_o and_o although_o when_o these_o bloody_a monster_n the_o irish_a rebel_n together_o with_o some_o degenerate_a unnatural_a and_o perfidious_a countryman_n of_o our_o own_o do_v first_o lift_v up_o their_o head_n and_o enter_v this_o kingdom_n in_o a_o hostile_a way_n it_o be_v look_v upon_o as_o a_o light_a matter_n and_o the_o great_a judgement_n which_o have_v since_o appear_v in_o it_o not_o apprehend_v yet_o now_o we_o be_v make_v more_o sensible_a that_o they_o be_v the_o rod_n of_o god_n wrath_n and_o the_o staff_n in_o their_o hand_n which_o have_v strike_v famine_n in_o the_o next_o place_n let_v we_o apply_v our_o heart_n to_o know_v and_o to_o search_v and_o to_o seek_v out_o wisdom_n and_o the_o reason_n of_o thing_n and_o to_o understand_v the_o language_n of_o this_o present_a judgement_n and_o god_n meaning_n in_o it_o for_o though_o the_o almighty_a give_v not_o a_o account_n of_o any_o of_o his_o matter_n and_o have_v his_o way_n in_o the_o sea_n and_o his_o path_n in_o the_o deep_a water_n which_o can_v be_v trace_v yet_o he_o be_v please_v by_o the_o light_n of_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n by_o the_o voice_n of_o our_o own_o conscience_n and_o by_o that_o which_o be_v write_v and_o engrave_v upon_o our_o judgement_n as_o with_o the_o point_n of_o a_o diamond_n and_o a_o pen_n of_o iron_n to_o make_v know_v in_o some_o measure_n his_o meaning_n unto_o his_o servant_n god_n have_v speak_v once_o yea_o twice_o yet_o man_n perceive_v not_o therefore_o now_o have_v he_o make_v this_o rod_n to_o speak_v aloud_o the_o three_o time_n that_o we_o may_v hear_v the_o voice_n of_o the_o rod_n and_o who_o have_v appoint_v it_o that_o which_o the_o rod_n point_v at_o be_v not_o any_o guilt_n of_o rebellion_n or_o disloyalty_n in_o we_o as_o the_o son_n of_o belial_n do_v slander_n and_o belie_v the_o solemn_a league_n and_o covenant_n of_o the_o three_o kingdom_n which_o we_o be_v so_o far_o from_o repent_v
