and_o that_o the_o licentiousness_n of_o the_o time_n have_v not_o only_o loose_v the_o reins_o to_o atheism_n irreligion_n and_o profanity_n in_o many_o and_o open_v the_o door_n to_o seducer_n from_o without_o to_o break-in_a upon_o this_o church_n but_o that_o even_o from_o among_o ourselves_o some_o have_v arisen_a speak_v perverse_a thing_n who_o have_v spit_v in_o their_o mother_n face_n in_o the_o day_n of_o rebuke_n and_o make_v defection_n from_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o precious_a ordinance_n which_o she_o in_o mercy_n enjoy_v as_o these_o thing_n in_o the_o holy_a and_o righteous_a dispensation_n of_o god_n have_v breed_v we_o no_o small_a exercise_n and_o grief_n of_o heart_n in_o our_o station_n so_o it_o can_v but_o augment_v our_o sorrow_n when_o we_o find_v that_o distemper_n not_o only_o continue_v to_o be_v a_o snare_n and_o trial_n to_o the_o lord_n people_n under_o our_o charge_n but_o that_o it_o be_v upon_o the_o grow_a hand_n and_o that_o now_o some_o man_n be_v not_o content_v to_o make_v apostasy_n themselves_o and_o to_o do_v what_o they_o can_v by_o their_o example_n and_o activity_n in_o seduction_n to_o ensnare_v other_o but_o they_o will_v also_o bend_v their_o utmost_a endeavour_n to_o pull_v down_o the_o hedge_n about_o the_o lord_n vineyard_n and_o to_o overturn_v all_o settlement_n of_o religion_n among_o with_o they_o in_o a_o petition_n for_o make_v void_a and_o abolish_n all_o civil_a sanction_n establish_v the_o doctrine_n discipline_n and_o government_n of_o this_o church_n the_o fruit_n of_o the_o many_o prayer_n and_o sad_a suffering_n of_o the_o godly_a in_o this_o and_o former_a age_n that_o so_o they_o may_v enjoy_v a_o vast_a toleration_n and_o encouragement_n in_o embrace_v vile_a error_n which_o they_o be_v please_v to_o set_v off_o under_o the_o specious_a name_n of_o just_a liberty_n and_o gospel-priviledge_n this_o unnatural_a practice_n proceed_v from_o among_o ourselves_o and_o from_o some_o of_o these_o who_o once_o pretend_v to_o speak_v of_o a_o great_a blessedness_n in_o build_v up_o what_o now_o they_o will_v destroy_v and_o in_o enjoy_v what_o now_o they_o abominate_a though_o we_o believe_v it_o will_v not_o signify_v much_o upon_o the_o account_n of_o those_o who_o prosecute_v it_o with_o discern_a man_n who_o know_v they_o and_o who_o they_o grieve_v in_o this_o matter_n and_o in_o that_o respect_n we_o can_v very_o easy_o have_v pass_v it_o as_o a_o matter_n of_o little_a moment_n yet_o we_o can_v not_o but_o tremble_v to_o find_v such_o a_o spirit_n among_o we_o and_o as_o we_o be_v call_v of_o god_n to_o stand_v in_o the_o gap_n in_o our_o station_n wherever_o any_o hazard_n to_o truth_n and_o religion_n appear_v in_o this_o church_n so_o we_o hold_v ourselves_o more_o near_o concern_v in_o this_o business_n see_v it_o be_v assert_v to_o be_v the_o petition_n of_o some_o within_o our_o bound_n and_o charge_n and_o though_o we_o have_v hitherto_o content_v ourselves_o with_o bear_v testimony_n against_o their_o way_n in_o our_o ordinary_a ministry_n if_o peradventure_o god_n may_v be_v please_v to_o reclaim_v they_o from_o the_o error_n of_o their_o way_n yet_o be_v inform_v of_o the_o uncessant_a activity_n of_o some_o of_o they_o to_o have_v their_o design_n effectuate_v we_o can_v not_o satisfy_v ourselves_o as_o
