of_o the_o inordinate_a appetite_n and_o passion_n of_o mankind_n and_o last_o that_o this_o government_n have_v absolute_a power_n of_o life_n and_o death_n in_o some_o case_n over_o the_o wife_n child_n and_o servant_n of_o the_o family_n and_o that_o if_o this_o power_n be_v confer_v upon_o they_o by_o god_n which_o you_o likewise_o grant_v and_o do_v not_o depend_v upon_o the_o consent_n or_o compact_v of_o the_o wife_n child_n and_o servant_n if_o these_o thing_n be_v so_o i_o leave_v it_o to_o yourself_o to_o consider_v from_o the_o premise_n whether_o this_o power_n in_o head_n or_o father_n of_o family_n call_v they_o which_o you_o please_v be_v not_o a_o monarchical_a power_n or_o the_o government_n of_o one_o man_n and_o that_o ordain_v by_o god_n and_o that_o this_o be_v the_o only_a government_n in_o the_o world_n before_o the_o institution_n of_o commonwealth_n you_o yourself_o can_v deny_v f._n i_o shall_v show_v you_o plain_o that_o you_o will_v impose_v a_o best_a sort_n of_o government_n and_o so_o on_o the_o other_o side_n there_o be_v this_o to_o be_v object_v against_o it_o that_o the_o set_n up_o of_o so_o many_o commonwealth_n upon_o the_o ruin_n of_o monarchy_n show_v that_o man_n find_v great_a mischief_n and_o inconvenience_n in_o that_o sort_n of_o government_n when_o once_o it_o grow_v tyrannical_a or_o else_o they_o have_v never_o depart_v from_o it_o and_o this_o make_v they_o as_o brutus_n say_v at_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o roman_a commonwealth_n to_o invent_v other_o sort_n of_o government_n which_o may_v partake_v of_o all_o the_o benefit_n without_o the_o inconvenience_n of_o absolute_a monarchy_n but_o as_o for_o your_o instance_n of_o god_n be_v himself_o king_n over_o the_o people_n of_o israel_n this_o touch_v not_o the_o question_n in_o hand_n since_o that_o be_v a_o theocratical_a and_o not_o a_o civil_a commonwealth_n can_v concern_v no_o other_o nation_n but_o themselves_o and_o as_o for_o your_o
