thereto_o it_o seem_v that_o marie_n with_o the_o ointment_n which_o she_o bring_v with_o she_o think_v to_o anoint_v the_o body_n of_o christ_n as_o she_o do_v afore_o in_o his_o life_n time_n and_o to_o reverence_v he_o and_o to_o deal_v with_o he_o as_o with_o a_o mortal_a man_n which_o thing_n christ_n forbid_v she_o to_o do_v hereafter_o shall_v we_o hear_v how_o he_o offer_v unto_o his_o disciple_n his_o hand_n foot_n and_o side_n will_v they_o to_o touch_v he_o but_o with_o this_o inhibition_n and_o that_o commandment_n he_o have_v respect_n to_o one_o only_a thing_n namely_o to_o deliver_v marie_n and_o the_o disciple_n from_o unbelief_n from_o weak_a faith_n and_o doubt_v unto_o marie_n he_o will_v say_v touch_v i_o not_o of_o a_o carnal_a devotion_n as_o though_o thou_o will_v anoint_v i_o i_o need_v it_o no_o more_o as_o for_o such_o corporal_a service_n it_o be_v not_o necessary_a to_o do_v it_o unto_o my_o body_n any_o more_o the_o cause_n why_o i_o become_v man_n be_v not_o that_o you_o shall_v always_o hang_v upon_o my_o corporal_a flesh_n and_o honour_v i_o with_o bodily_a service_n thou_o shall_v now_o short_o understand_v that_o i_o have_v like_o power_n with_o the_o father_n i_o be_o in_o thy_o heart_n not_o yet_o ascend_v up_o unto_o the_o father_n that_o be_v thou_o have_v as_o yet_o no_o right_a knowledge_n of_o my_o godhead_n therefore_o can_v the_o same_o be_v not_o do_v principal_o to_o the_o intent_n to_o declare_v a_o service_n unto_o god_n but_o somewhat_o to_o provoke_v our_o outward_a sense_n and_o flesh_n by_o the_o exterior_a sign_n that_o we_o may_v the_o better_o consider_v and_o ponder_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n declare_v unto_o we_o in_o the_o death_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o that_o we_o may_v lift_v up_o our_o mind_n unto_o christ_n the_o heavenly_a food_n and_o live_a bread_n which_o inward_o feed_v we_o with_o his_o flesh_n and_o nourish_v we_o with_o his_o blood_n thereto_o also_o have_v our_o saviour_n christ_n institute_v the_o figurative_a token_n and_o sacrament_n of_o his_o grace_n to_o help_v our_o infirmity_n for_o sacrament_n be_v gracious_a evidence_n of_o the_o faith_n that_o man_n have_v or_o shall_v have_v to_o god_n in_o the_o which_o they_o comfortable_o exercise_v and_o practice_v themselves_o towards_o god_n promise_n wherein_o also_o they_o declare_v the_o obedience_n of_o their_o inward_a say_v and_o that_o they_o faithful_o believe_v the_o word_n and_o promise_n of_o almighty_a god_n for_o the_o token_n without_o belief_n be_v nothing_o profitable_a but_o rather_o hurtful_a all_o bodily_a service_n that_o the_o flesh_n imagine_v please_v not_o god_n he_o sit_v at_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n there_o ought_v we_o to_o touch_v he_o with_o the_o lift_n up_o of_o a_o faithful_a heart_n and_o with_o the_o worship_n which_o he_o through_o his_o spirit_n work_v and_o direct_v into_o we_o for_o therefore_o he_o die_v rise_v again_o and_o ascend_v up_o into_o heaven_n that_o he_o may_v fulfil_v all_o thing_n and_o reign_v true_o and_o spiritual_o in_o our_o heart_n our_o heart_n must_v we_o lift_v up_o 3._o there_o as_o christ_n sit_v at_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n and_o our_o conversation_n ought_v to_o be_v in_o heaven_n whereas_o the_o lord_n will_v his_o disciple_n to_o touch_v he_o it_o be_v do_v to_o banish_v their_o doubtfulness_n and_o to_o strengthen_v their_o weak_a faith_n which_o touch_v be_v not_o require_v of_o they_o as_o a_o worship_n but_o that_o their_o flesh_n through_o the_o outward_a handle_n of_o his_o body_n may_v be_v quiet_v &_o still_v and_o so_o be_v it_o a_o proof_n and_o testimony_n that_o he_o very_o rise_v with_o the_o former_a body_n rather_o than_o a_o worship_v or_o service_n christ_n do_v not_o therefore_o take_v upon_o he_o his_o flesh_n that_o we_o shall_v always_o hang_v and_o depend_v thereon_o but_o that_o we_o by_o his_o humanity_n shall_v ascend_v up_o to_o his_o godhead_n for_o when_o we_o know_v the_o high_a and_o holy_a mystery_n of_o his_o passion_n and_o resurrection_n with_o the_o which_o he_o have_v serve_v our_o turn_n we_o ought_v to_o stir_v up_o our_o mind_n to_o know_v the_o godhead_n wherein_o he_o be_v like_a unto_o the_o father_n therefore_o unto_o marie_n magdalene_n also_o do_v christ_n speak_v of_o ascend_v up_o to_o the_o father_n which_o thing_n he_o gracious_a father_n who_o can_v right_v well_o order_n and_o dispose_v they_o how_o &_o when_o he_o will_v as_o he_o think_v best_o to_o further_a his_o glory_n and_o to_o edify_v his_o elect_a child_n our_o care_n ought_v rather_o to_o be_v how_o we_o may_v lead_v a_o godly_a life_n and_o beautify_v the_o faith_n of_o christ_n with_o good_a work_v we_o must_v look_v that_o we_o be_v neither_o ungodlie_a nor_o hypocrite_n but_o to_o live_v virtuous_o and_o innocent_o in_o his_o sight_n and_o patient_o at_o his_o hand_n to_o wait_v for_o our_o deliverance_n the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v publish_v and_o offer_v through_o the_o gospel_n be_v not_o a_o corporal_a but_o a_o spiritual_a kingdom_n neither_o consist_v it_o in_o outward_a thing_n but_o in_o a_o pure_a and_o faithful_a believe_a heart_n and_o yet_o reach_v it_o throughout_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o among_o all_o nation_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o all_o faithful_a believer_n do_v christ_n reign_v through_o his_o spirit_n and_o there_o overcom_v he_o the_o devil_n sin_n and_o death_n and_o to_o the_o intent_n they_o shall_v well_o understande_v this_o kingdom_n he_o command_v they_o to_o wait_v for_o the_o holy_a spirit_n who_o he_o have_v promise_v they_o as_o if_o he_o will_v say_v now_o go_v i_o to_o my_o father_n now_o enter_v i_o into_o my_o kingdom_n that_o i_o may_v mighty_o reign_v upon_o earth_n in_o all_o part_n sin_n except_o as_o a_o very_a true_a man_n but_o when_o he_o have_v full_o finish_v and_o thorough_o end_v the_o work_n that_o be_v give_v he_o in_o commission_n of_o convenient_a that_o the_o father_n also_o shall_v glorify_v his_o son_n and_o therefore_o raise_v he_o he_o from_o death_n and_o take_v he_o up_o into_o heaven_n not_o after_o the_o godhead_n for_o so_o be_v he_o always_o in_o heaven_n but_o after_o the_o manhood_n for_o his_o true_a humane_a nature_n which_o he_o take_v upon_o he_o for_o our_o sake_n be_v carry_v and_o take_v up_o out_o of_o this_o world_n into_o the_o invisible_a honour_n and_o glory_n into_o the_o high_a incomprehensible_a and_o into_o the_o perfect_a fruition_n of_o the_o godhead_n in_o this_o honour_n and_o glory_n christ_n dwell_v and_o reign_v and_o yet_o among_o those_o that_o be_v he_o do_v he_o finish_v and_o perform_v all_o thing_n by_o his_o spirit_n have_v governance_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o
