all_o but_o rather_o seek_v to_o take_v that_o from_o they_o that_o by_o order_n they_o have_v already_o be_v there_o not_o think_v you_o in_o england_n that_o when_o time_n be_v can_v be_v content_v to_o give_v forty_o shilling_n toward_o the_o gyld_n of_o a_o gay_a image_n or_o twenty_o noble_n to_o buy_v a_o suit_n of_o cope_n that_o now_o will_v not_o without_o murmur_v give_v six_o penny_n the_o other_o do_v but_o only_o signify_v also_o in_o horeb_n you_o provoke_v the_o lord_n to_o anger_n etc_n so_o that_o the_o lord_n etc_n etc_n this_o be_v the_o first_o example_n of_o their_o transgression_n at_o horeb_n in_o make_v the_o golden_a calf_n in_o which_o it_o shall_v be_v good_a to_o consider_v what_o their_o offence_n be_v how_o much_o god_n be_v displease_v therewith_o &_o gross_a idolatry_n yet_o it_o be_v hardly_o to_o be_v think_v that_o the_o israelite_n who_o so_o late_o before_o have_v see_v so_o many_o wondrous_a work_n do_v as_o well_o in_o egipte_n as_o in_o the_o wilderness_n by_o the_o mighty_a hand_n of_o the_o live_a god_n will_v now_o sudden_o be_v so_o bewitch_v as_o to_o forsake_v he_o utter_o and_o in_o steed_n of_o he_o worship_v a_o golden_a calf_n 4._o and_o *_o attribute_n to_o it_o those_o benefit_n that_o they_o have_v receive_v of_o god_n before_o the_o calf_n by_o themselves_o be_v make_v it_o be_v rather_o likely_a that_o because_o they_o think_v moses_n be_v now_o go_v and_o therefore_o the_o less_o esteem_v the_o form_n of_o religion_n by_o he_o declare_v they_o will_v have_v a_o worship_v of_o god_n of_o their_o own_o devise_v and_o a_o image_n as_o they_o think_v in_o which_o they_o may_v honour_v he_o for_o such_o be_v the_o grossness_n of_o man_n wit_n that_o he_o think_v he_o have_v not_o god_n present_v with_o he_o nor_o do_v not_o right_o worship_n he_o unless_o it_o be_v in_o some_o visible_a form_n of_o himself_o devise_v if_o they_o do_v worship_v the_o calf_n as_o god_n it_o be_v in_o they_o a_o exceed_a fury_n and_o astoniednes_n of_o common_a reason_n and_o sense_n if_o they_o do_v only_a worship_n god_n in_o the_o calf_n and_o think_v some_o divine_a holiness_n therein_o as_o it_o be_v most_o likely_a yet_o it_o be_v a_o grevous_a offence_n and_o direct_o against_o the_o *_o first_o commandment_n 8_o which_o be_v give_v they_o by_o god_o with_o great_a majesty_n and_o terror_n but_o a_o little_a time_n before_o for_o in_o the_o first_o commandment_n god_n do_v not_o only_o forbid_v strange_a god_n but_o also_o strange_a worshyppyng_n of_o god_o devise_v by_o man_n contrary_a to_o his_o holy_a word_n they_o break_v also_o the_o covenant_n that_o *_o before_o 8._o they_o have_v condescend_v unto_o to_o follow_v the_o worship_n of_o god_o appoint_v in_o his_o law_n and_o not_o to_o depart_v from_o it_o wherefore_o over_o and_o beside_o their_o idolatrous_a worship_n they_o may_v be_v esteem_v false_a traitorous_a and_o forswear_a person_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god._n 14_o god_n displeasure_n then_o be_v just_a against_o they_o 51._o for_o they_o be_v as_o he_o say_v a_o *_o stiffnecked_a people_n that_o by_o no_o mean_n will_v be_v keep_v in_o his_o true_a obedience_n and_o therefore_o purpose_v utter_o to_o have_v destroy_v they_o and_o to_o have_v put_v out_o the_o name_n of_o they_o from_o under_o heaven_n 20._o yea_o he_o be_v exceed_v angry_a also_o with_o aaron_n and_o will_v have_v destroy_v he_o in_o like_a manner_n because_o he_o be_v so_o timorous_a and_o faint_a heart_a that_o for_o any_o cause_n he_o will_v yield_v to_o be_v their_o instrument_n or_o helper_n to_o work_v idolatry_n this_o offence_n of_o the_o israelite_n god_n open_v first_o unto_o moses_n 13._o say_v thy_o people_n which_o thou_o haste_v bring_v out_o of_o egipte_n have_v sore_o offend_v they_o be_v turn_v at_o once_o out_o of_o the_o way_n that_o i_o command_v they_o etc_n etc_n and_o with_o all_o declare_v his_o grevous_a displeasure_n toward_o they_o &_o that_o for_o their_o detestable_a wickedness_n he_o mind_v to_o take_v they_o from_o the_o face_n of_o the_o earth_n then_o moses_n as_o a_o good_a governor_n careful_a for_o that_o people_n which_o god_n have_v commit_v to_o he_o fall_v down_o before_o the_o lord_n make_v earnest_a intercession_n for_o they_o &_o say_v 29._o oh_o lord_n god_n destroy_v not_o thy_o people_n and_o thine_o inheritance_n which_o thou_o have_v deliver_v through_o thy_o great_a goodness_n etc_n etc_n by_o who_o example_n we_o also_o be_v teach_v the_o form_n of_o true_a and_o godly_a prayer_n ground_v upon_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n for_o god_n have_v say_v that_o he_o have_v choose_v the_o israelite_n for_o his_o peculiar_a people_n and_o that_o he_o will_v by_o mighty_a hand_n deliver_v they_o to_o the_o end_n that_o he_o may_v set_v forth_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o name_n through_o all_o the_o world_n he_o promise_v also_o to_o the_o patriarch_n abraham_n isahac_n and_o jacob_n that_o he_o will_v preserve_v they_o and_o their_o seed_n and_o give_v unto_o their_o seed_n the_o land_n of_o chanaan_n upon_o these_o promise_n do_v moses_n with_o a_o strong_a faith_n ground_n his_o prayer_n 15._o and_o earnestly*_n press_v god_n with_o the_o same_o and_o that_o he_o will_v not_o go_v from_o these_o promise_n though_o the_o stiffnecked_a people_n have_v deserve_v the_o contrary_n add_v also_o the_o great_a reproach_n that_o may_v rise_v to_o his_o name_n among_o the_o heathen_a from_o whence_o they_o come_v that_o be_v the_o egyptian_n who_o will_v say_v that_o their_o god_n be_v not_o
