revenge_v and_o follow_v it_o as_o headlong_o when_o they_o think_v they_o have_v the_o occasion_n thus_o if_o we_o take_v not_o heed_n to_o the_o beginning_n we_o grow_v into_o extremity_n against_o other_o and_o think_v they_o intolerable_a not_o that_o they_o be_v so_o indeed_o but_o by_o give_v way_n to_o our_o passion_n and_o conceit_n we_o make_v ourselves_o so_o tetchy_a that_o every_o little_a thing_n seem_v intolerable_a in_o those_o party_n thongh_v we_o can_v bear_v with_o other_o upon_o every_o move_n of_o a_o finger_n we_o grow_v into_o more_o passion_n and_o murmur_n and_o frame_v judgement_n of_o they_o that_o they_o be_v this_o and_o that_o and_o scarce_o worthy_a to_o live_v among_o man_n and_o will_v not_o hear_v nor_o be_v persuade_v the_o contrary_a the_o prayer_n to_o our_o bless_a saviour_n and_o our_o bless_a lady_n bewail_v in_o their_o presence_n thy_o misery_n with_o shame_n and_o confusion_n and_o a_o world_n of_o good_a purpose_n which_o through_o their_o assistance_n be_v confident_a to_o perform_v a_o meditation_n of_o the_o whip_n of_o our_o saviour_n preamble_n pilate_n fail_v of_o his_o former_a project_n give_v order_n that_o our_o saviour_n shall_v be_v whip_v at_o a_o pillar_n which_o only_a word_n be_v sufficient_a to_o melt_v a_o love_a hart_n yet_o beg_v of_o our_o saviour_n more_o feel_v of_o it_o i._o consider_v first_o how_o upon_o this_o order_n give_v flagellavit_fw-la a_o company_n of_o rude_a soldierlike_a fellow_n take_v our_o saviour_n and_o strip_v he_o naked_a and_o bind_v he_o to_o a_o pillar_n o_o as_o thou_o can_v step_v in_o betwixt_o and_o offer_v thy_o shoulder_n to_o save_v he_o from_o further_a mischief_n say_v with_o king_n david_n it_o be_v i_o that_o have_v sin_v 7._o it_o be_v i_o when_o the_o soldier_n â—ad_n untie_v our_o saviour_n from_o the_o pillar_n and_o laugh_v their_o fill_n at_o his_o nakedness_n and_o feebleness_n and_o the_o plight_n in_o which_o they_o have_v put_v he_o he_o have_v scarce_o get_v his_o clooth_n about_o he_o when_o they_o take_v he_o into_o the_o
doctrine_n and_o miracle_n of_o our_o saviour_n breed_v a_o desire_n in_o the_o gentile_n to_o see_v he_o our_o saviour_n upon_o notice_n of_o this_o honour_n retire_v his_o thought_n to_o his_o passion_n and_o death_n the_o hour_n indeed_o be_v at_o hand_n in_o which_o i_o shall_v be_v glorify_v by_o the_o conversion_n of_o the_o gentile_n to_o i_o but_o it_o will_v not_o full_o come_v
