without_o resistance_n or_o when_o it_o be_v do_v ready_o which_o sin_n will_v and_o command_v to_o be_v do_v tim._n what_o be_v mean_v here_o by_o the_o body_n sil._n the_o whole_a man_n consist_v of_o soul_n and_o body_n now_o he_o do_v rather_o name_v the_o body_n then_o the_o soul_n because_o sin_n be_v first_o convey_v into_o the_o soul_n by_o the_o body_n and_o afterward_o execute_v and_o fulfil_v by_o the_o body_n as_o a_o organ_n to_o the_o soul_n in_o commit_v of_o sin_n tim._n what_o be_v the_o instruction_n that_o we_o be_v to_o learn_v from_o this_o exhortation_n thus_o expound_v sil._n first_o though_o sin_n can_v but_o still_o be_v in_o the_o regenerate_a godly_a yet_o it_o ought_v and_o may_v be_v keep_v from_o reign_v else_o this_o exhortation_n be_v vain_a second_o that_o it_o behoove_v every_o child_n of_o god_n to_o do_v his_o part_n and_o endeavour_n that_o sin_n may_v not_o reign_v three_o where_o this_o care_n be_v not_o take_v to_o resist_v sin_n there_o it_o will_v reign_v as_o a_o tyrant_n or_o rather_o as_o a_o king_n tim._n what_o reason_n may_v stir_v up_o god_n child_n to_o a_o care_n of_o hinder_v the_o kingdom_n of_o sin_n so_o much_o as_o ever_o lie_v in_o they_o to_o do_v sil._n first_o see_v christ_n have_v put_v into_o they_o the_o grace_n to_o therefore_o mortify_v their_o sin_n it_o be_v their_o part_n not_o to_o suffer_v it_o to_o be_v idle_a &_o unfruitful_a but_o to_o labour_v more_o and_o more_o to_o keep_v under_o and_o master_v that_o enemy_n which_o christ_n have_v already_o begin_v to_o slay_v and_o destroy_v second_o because_o we_o be_v mortal_a mortal_n and_o subject_a to_o death_n therefore_o our_o resistance_n of_o sin_n must_v be_v the_o strong_a see_v it_o will_v short_o have_v a_o end_n three_o if_o we_o strive_v against_o the_o kingdom_n of_o sin_n to_o hinder_v it_o we_o be_v sure_a to_o conquer_v it_o otherwise_o it_o will_v overcome_v we_o to_o our_o everlasting_a shame_n and_o destruction_n tim._n but_o what_o need_v this_o exhortation_n to_o the_o faithful_a in_o who_o sin_n can_v have_v any_o kingdom_n because_o christ_n be_v their_o king_n and_o rule_v they_o outward_o by_o his_o word_n and_o inward_o by_o his_o spirit_n sil._n it_o be_v very_o needful_a because_o by_o their_o own_o care_n and_o endeavour_n in_o resist_a sin_n it_o be_v keep_v from_o exercise_v any_o rule_n or_o kingdom_n over_o they_o god_n who_o will_v not_o have_v sin_n to_o rule_v in_o his_o child_n the_o same_o god_n will_v his_o child_n not_o to_o be_v secure_a but_o to_o do_v what_o they_o can_v to_o stop_v and_o hinder_v the_o power_n and_o course_n of_o sin_n in_o themselves_o god_n work_v by_o mean_n tim._n tell_v we_o now_o what_o be_v the_o special_a mean_n to_o hinder_v the_o kingdom_n of_o sin_n sil._n not_o to_o obey_v it_o in_o the_o lust_n thereof_o whereby_o this_o word_n lust_n be_v mean_v not_o corruption_n of_o nature_n but_o the_o first_o stir_n thereof_o even_o all_o the_o evil_a desire_n and_o motion_n that_o spring_v from_o it_o which_o may_v appear_v to_o be_v so_o by_o these_o reason_n first_o because_o he_o do_v distinguish_v sin_n from_o lust_n as_o the_o root_n and_o cause_n from_o the_o fruit_n and_o effect_n second_o because_o he_o speak_v of_o lust_n in_o the_o plural_a number_n say_v lust_n and_o not_o lust_n this_o show_n that_o he_o mean_v not_o natural_a corruption_n which_o be_v one_o entire_a thing_n disperse_v into_o the_o whole_a man_n but_o those_o diverse_a and_o many_o wicked_a motion_n and_o desire_n which_o come_v of_o it_o whereof_o we_o may_v read_v the_o particular_n rom._n 1_o 29._o 30._o 1_o cor._n 6._o 9_o 10._o gala._n 5._o 19_o 20_o 21._o colos._n 3._o 5._o and_o titus_n 3_o 3._o such_o a_o heap_n sea_n or_o world_n of_o evil_a lust_n there_o be_v lurk_v in_o our_o nature_n as_o so_o many_o enemy_n to_o fight_v withal_o tim._n now_o you_o have_v tell_v we_o what_o be_v mean_v by_o lust_n tell_v we_o what_o it_o be_v not_o to_o obey_v these_o lusst_a sil._n neither_o to_o practice_v they_o in_o our_o work_n nor_o somuch_o as_o to_o consent_v unto_o they_o in_o our_o will_n with_o great_a
