from_o the_o sun_n so_o when_o god_n fill_v we_o we_o sit_v further_a from_o god_n our_o spirit_n become_v empty_a of_o grace_n and_o regardless_o of_o god_n therefore_o this_o shall_v move_v we_o from_o affect_v the_o world_n and_o the_o lust_n of_o the_o world_n use_v 1_o a_o ground_n of_o strong_a exhortation_n to_o both_o old_a man_n and_o young_a love_v not_o the_o world_n nor_o the_o lust_n of_o it_o for_o there_o be_v no_o proportion_n betwixt_o the_o world_n and_o a_o child_n of_o god_n what_o proportion_n betwixt_o transitory_a and_o everlasting_a thing_n fade_a and_o satisfy_v the_o soul_n the_o immortal_a soul_n will_v not_o be_v content_v with_o transitory_a fade_a thing_n these_o be_v but_o as_o dream_n they_o dream_v of_o abundance_n but_o their_o soul_n be_v all_o this_o while_n empty_a and_o starve_a and_o if_o these_o be_v so_o transitory_a why_o do_v we_o feed_v on_o meat_n that_o be_v so_o unsuitable_a to_o our_o soul_n if_o we_o have_v once_o make_v the_o world_n our_o element_n if_o we_o be_v lift_v up_o out_o of_o the_o world_n to_o heavenly_a and_o spiritual_a thing_n we_o be_v like_o a_o fish_n out_o of_o the_o water_n we_o faint_v and_o gasp_v and_o be_v weary_a and_o must_v return_v to_o our_o mud_n again_o we_o have_v no_o comfort_n at_o all_o be_v not_o this_o a_o woeful_a disproportion_n nay_o further_o see_v all_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n be_v vanity_n and_o folly_n even_o lawful_a pleasure_n i_o say_v of_o mirth_n it_o be_v madness_n and_o folly_n eccl._n 2.2_o why_o therefore_o let_v we_o be_v exhort_v to_o wean_v our_o affection_n from_o they_o walk_v among_o they_o as_o snare_n take_v heed_n you_o be_v not_o trap_v by_o they_o all_o the_o blessing_n of_o this_o life_n be_v but_o curse_n if_o you_o use_v they_o for_o themselves_o and_o then_o they_o weaken_v your_o spirit_n and_o corrupt_v your_o heart_n therefore_o love_v not_o the_o world_n nor_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n for_o these_o all_o fade_v away_o there_o be_v a_o disproportion_n betwixt_o the_o curse_a thing_n of_o this_o world_n and_o spiritual_a blessing_n indeed_o they_o be_v not_o curse_n if_o you_o receive_v they_o as_o come_v from_o god_n and_o use_v they_o to_o he_o otherwise_o if_o you_o set_v your_o heart_n on_o they_o and_o use_v they_o for_o themselves_o they_o will_v prove_v a_o curse_n to_o you_o use_v 2._o let_v we_o be_v exhort_v to_o lift_v up_o our_o heart_n to_o more_o heavenly_a and_o spiritual_a thing_n let_v we_o lift_v up_o our_o soul_n to_o those_o pleasure_n and_o profit_n that_o endure_v for_o ever_o joh._n 6.26_o labour_n for_o those_o pleasure_n that_o may_v true_o satisfy_v your_o soul_n desire_v god_n to_o lift_v up_o your_o heart_n from_o worldly_a to_o spititual_a thing_n and_o then_o we_o shall_v find_v the_o word_n of_o god_n sweet_a than_o honey_n and_o the_o honeycomb_n therefore_o feed_v not_o on_o husk_n and_o chaff_n but_o feed_v on_o spiritual_a thing_n which_o may_v nourish_v you_o to_o eternal_a life_n and_o for_o earthly_a thing_n use_v they_o as_o help_v to_o spiritual_a thing_n to_o make_v you_o more_o vacant_a for_o religious_a exercise_n more_o fruitful_a in_o good_a work_n so_o you_o shall_v find_v they_o helpful_a to_o you_o and_o you_o shall_v draw_v near_o to_o god_n by_o they_o when_o we_o look_v not_o so_o much_o at_o honour_n or_o pleasure_n
