against_o those_o error_n which_o do_v now_o so_o much_o abound_v either_o in_o their_o sermon_n or_o writing_n the_o more_o they_o spread_v abroad_o because_o such_o be_v the_o corruption_n of_o man_n nature_n through_o pride_n that_o the_o more_o he_o be_v oppose_v in_o those_o error_n which_o he_o mayntaine_v the_o more_o strong_o he_o labour_v to_o defend_v they_o &_o spread_v they_o abroad_o whereby_o the_o peace_n and_o unity_n of_o the_o church_n be_v much_o break_v and_o disturb_v to_o the_o great_a grief_n and_o wound_v of_o the_o soul_n of_o all_o god_n people_n and_o therefore_o i_o conceive_v that_o the_o best_a way_n both_o to_o suppress_v heresy_n and_o to_o maintain_v the_o peace_n and_o unity_n of_o the_o church_n be_v positive_o to_o maintain_v those_o maintain_v the_o same_o the_o which_o i_o can_v wish_v be_v not_o too_o much_o neglect_v by_o many_o for_o my_o own_o part_n that_o love_n that_o i_o bear_v to_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n word_n and_o to_o the_o peace_n and_o unity_n of_o the_o church_n move_v i_o to_o cast_v in_o my_o mite_n desire_v that_o it_o may_v be_v a_o mean_n to_o stir_v up_o other_o who_o be_v far_o more_o able_a to_o cast_v in_o out_o of_o their_o treasure_n that_o so_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n word_n may_v be_v more_o clear_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n the_o peace_n and_o unity_n of_o the_o same_o worthy_a learned_a man_n and_o see_v that_o there_o be_v public_a catechise_n in_o every_o congregation_n to_o which_o i_o answer_v i_o confess_v that_o there_o be_v many_o public_a catechism_n make_v by_o learned_a man_n to_o who_o i_o judge_v myself_o far_o inferior_a and_o yet_o i_o say_v that_o among_o all_o those_o variety_n of_o print_a catechism_n you_o shall_v find_v this_o differ_v from_o all_o other_o in_o matter_n method_n or_o manner_n if_o not_o in_o all_o for_o i_o never_o yet_o see_v two_o catechism_n that_o be_v just_a alike_o in_o matter_n method_n and_o manner_n although_o they_o be_v both_o concern_v the_o same_o ground_n but_o however_o in_o this_o one_o thing_n it_o be_v different_a from_o all_o the_o catechism_n that_o ever_o i_o yet_o see_v namely_o in_o the_o manner_n of_o prove_v the_o ground_n for_o in_o all_o ordinary_a catechism_n the_o place_n of_o scripture_n be_v only_o quote_v to_o prove_v the_o ground_n by_o reason_n where_o of_o people_n that_o be_v not_o acquaint_v with_o the_o scripture_n know_v not_o whether_o those_o ground_n be_v agreeable_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n or_o no_o and_o to_o turn_v to_o every_o proof_n be_v such_o a_o labour_n as_o that_o few_o will_v undertake_v the_o same_o wherefore_o to_o ease_v the_o reader_n i_o have_v take_v the_o more_o pain_n not_o only_o to_o quote_v the_o proof_n of_o scripture_n but_o also_o to_o write_v they_o down_o frame_v every_o answer_n so_o near_o as_o i_o can_v to_o the_o very_a word_n of_o my_o text_n allege_v for_o the_o prove_v of_o the_o same_o with_o explication_n of_o such_o thing_n as_o be_v obscure_a which_o labour_n i_o shall_v think_v well_o bestow_v in_o write_v so_o that_o it_o may_v be_v profitable_a to_o the_o reader_n again_o i_o conceive_v that_o there_o
