blessedness_n promise_v to_o the_o sayncte_v in_o heaven_n be_v take_v with_o admiration_n of_o it_o yea_o and_o have_v a_o natural_a desire_n of_o it_o as_o balaaâ—_n do_v when_o upon_o such_o a_o speculation_n he_o do_v wish_v to_o die_v the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a and_o to_o have_v his_o last_o end_n as_o he_o and_o yet_o love_v the_o wage_n of_o iniquity_n so_o well_o as_o he_o quite_o not_o his_o greed_n for_o all_o his_o wish_n of_o heaven_n in_o a_o word_n it_o be_v possible_a that_o a_o man_n impenitent_a and_o unrenew_v in_o his_o heart_n may_v be_v a_o glorious_a professor_n for_o his_o out_o ward_n behaviour_n and_o have_v fair_a gift_n and_o yet_o make_v apostasy_n from_o the_o truth_n when_o he_o get_v a_o fit_a temptation_n or_o else_o how_o shall_v it_o be_v possible_a that_o the_o devil_n shall_v make_v glorious_a professoures_n and_o churchman_n in_o all_o age_n apostate_n persecuter_n betrayer_n of_o the_o truth_n to_o the_o adversary_n vnder-myners_a of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n except_o they_o under_o all_o their_o show_n do_v lodge_v in_o their_o heart_n the_o love_n of_o money_n and_o worldly_a riches_n more_o than_o the_o love_n of_o heaven_n the_o love_n of_o the_o praise_n of_o man_n rather_o than_o god_n approbation_n the_o lust_n of_o their_o fleshlie_o ease_n and_o pleasure_n more_o than_o the_o pleasure_n of_o ood_a the_o fleshlie_o fear_v of_o those_o that_o can_v kill_v the_o body_n more_o than_o of_o god_n who_o can_v cast_v both_o soul_n and_o body_n into_o hell_n and_o therefore_o no_o wonder_n if_o for_o satisfaction_n of_o their_o ambition_n avarice_n lust_n and_o earthly_a affection_n they_o become_v ready_a to_o sell_v christ_n and_o his_o truth_n and_o his_o church_n and_o their_o country_n and_o all_o when_o they_o find_v their_o merchand_n and_o the_o belove_a price_n offer_v unto_o they_o 4._o observe_v here_o how_o glorious_a soever_o these_o illumination_n and_o gift_n and_o tastinge_n seem_v yet_o there_o be_v no_o far_o here_o grant_v but_o tastinge_n to_o such_o rot_a professoures_n that_o which_o they_o get_v be_v either_o only_a in_o the_o brain_n by_o knowledge_n or_o if_o there_o be_v any_o feelinge_n they_o be_v but_o sleet_a motion_n slow_v from_o temporary_a ground_n which_o proceed_v not_o from_o any_o spiritual_a life_n in_o the_o man_n nor_o from_o a_o root_n in_o himself_o that_o be_v not_o from_o the_o spirit_n dwell_v in_o he_o such_o feelinge_n do_v neither_o foster_n nor_o strengthen_v he_o for_o any_o spiritual_a obedience_n but_o evanish_v without_o change_v the_o heart_n it_o be_v true_a all_o that_o the_o godly_a get_v in_o comparison_n of_o what_o he_o shall_v get_v be_v but_o tastinge_n yet_o in_o comparison_n of_o these_o fruitless_a tastinge_n of_o the_o unsound_a professoures_n that_o which_o he_o get_v be_v true_a eat_v and_o drink_v a_o real_a feeding_n hold_v his_o soul_n in_o life_n and_o enable_v he_o to_o work_v the_o work_n of_o god_n to_o mortify_v his_o lust_n and_o serve_v god_n in_o his_o spirit_n 5._o observe_v that_o here_o he_o do_v not_o challenge_v those_o who_o have_v feel_v these_o tastinge_n for_o unsound_a nor_o threaten_v they_o if_o they_o hold_v on_o and_o make_v progress_n than_o 1._o the_o have_v of_o illumination_n and_o spiritual_a gift_n and_o tastinge_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n be_v not_o to_o be_v light_o esteem_v of_o but_o acaccount_v as_o step_n and_o degree_n unto_o a_o far_a progress_n wherefrae_fw-la as_o it_o be_v possible_a some_o fall_n away_o so_o it_o be_v a_o piece_n of_o advauncement_n to_o encowrage_v man_n to_o go_v on_o that_o they_o fall_v not_o away_o 2._o there_o be_v no_o danger_n in_o have_v this_o illumination_n oâ—_n these_o light_a tastinge_n but_o all_o the_o hazard_n be_v to_o rest_v upon_o they_o and_o not_o to_o tend_v towards_o perfection_n or_o to_o fall_v away_o after_o receive_v so_o much_o encowragement_n 3._o and_o therefore_o we_o must_v not_o rest_v on_o illumination_n or_o common_a gift_n how_o glorious_a soever_o nor_o tastinge_n and_o feelinge_n how_o sweet_a soever_o but_o seek_v still_o in_o to_o a_o more_o near_a communion_n with_o christ_n and_o still_o more_o to_o mortify_v our_o lust_n and_o still_o to_o abound_v in_o the_o fruit_n of_o love_n to_o christ_n and_o his_o church_n vers._n 6._o if_o they_o shall_v fall_v away_o to_o renew_v they_o again_o unto_o repentance_n see_v they_o crucify_v to_o themselves_o the_o son_n of_o god_n afresh_o and_o put_v he_o to_o a_o open_a shame_n 1._o he_o say_v not_o it_o be_v impossible_a they_o shall_v be_v save_v but_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v renew_v by_o repentance_n than_o apostate_n salvation_n be_v not_o impossible_a but_o because_o their_o repentance_n be_v impossible_a and_o where_o repentance_n be_v there_o be_v no_o impossibility_n of_o salvation_n but_o a_o certainty_n of_o salvation_n rather_o for_o he_o that_o give_v the_o repentance_n he_o declare_v his_o purpose_n to_o give_v remission_n also_o 2._o he_o give_v a_o reason_n why_o
