of_o divine_a inspiration_n and_o for_o proof_n of_o doctrine_n by_o the_o catholic_n christian_n church_n they_o may_v thence_o conclude_v that_o it_o be_v as_o safe_a for_o they_o not_o to_o own_v and_o erroneous_o take_v up_o 2._o yet_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o very_o many_o who_o dissent_v from_o the_o prudential_a rule_n of_o the_o protestant_a church_n or_o particular_o of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n do_v act_n according_a to_o the_o best_a light_n they_o have_v of_o scripture_n truth_n yet_o have_v they_o not_o the_o same_o reason_n and_o ground_n to_o justify_v they_o that_o protestant_n have_v to_o justify_v themselves_o in_o depart_v from_o popery_n for_o we_o reject_v popery_n not_o only_o because_o we_o can_v not_o discern_v whether_o it_o be_v lawful_a or_o not_o by_o the_o scripture-rule_n but_o because_o in_o matter_n plain_a in_o scripture_n we_o do_v clear_o discern_v it_o sinful_a by_o clear_a scripture-evidence_n which_o plain_a evidence_n dissenter_n from_o the_o church_n of_o england_n can_v have_v nor_o can_v they_o pretend_v it_o unless_o it_o be_v rash_o under_o passion_n or_o preconceive_a prejudice_n but_o for_o those_o who_o act_n according_a to_o the_o best_a light_n they_o have_v from_o scripture_n which_o will_v suppose_v they_o willing_a to_o be_v better_o inform_v we_o protestant_n no_o way_n dislike_v but_o high_o approve_v of_o their_o rule_n and_o of_o they_o for_o design_v to_o follow_v it_o so_o far_o as_o we_o can_v discern_v such_o person_n and_o as_o the_o protestant_a doctrine_n assert_n that_o all_o inquirer_n may_v possible_o not_o attain_v yet_o i_o must_v further_o declare_v that_o if_o this_o design_n of_o follow_v scripture_n according_a to_o man_n best_a capacity_n be_v more_o follow_v and_o all_o passion_n prejudices_fw-la and_o unchristian_a suspicion_n lay_v aside_o among_o all_o dissenter_n the_o number_n of_o they_o who_o dissent_v from_o the_o protestant_a church_n upon_o not_o at_o all_o the_o rule_n of_o faith_n or_o the_o reject_v the_o scripture_n from_o be_v the_o rule_n of_o faith_n from_o what_o have_v be_v say_v it_o be_v easy_a to_o vindicate_v the_o
