god_n of_o this_o you_o may_v remember_v i_o have_v be_v speak_v at_o some_o length_n upon_o the_o 5._o verse_n before_o which_o may_v save_v i_o a_o labour_n of_o insist_v much_o on_o it_o now_o manifest_v to_o they_o as_o they_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o it_o for_o if_o he_o have_v mercy_n he_o shall_v compassionate_v they_o in_o their_o misery_n if_o plenteous_a redemption_n be_v with_o he_o he_o shall_v redeem_v israel_n from_o all_o their_o iniquity_n if_o he_o have_v authority_n and_o power_n to_o redeem_v it_o shall_v undoubted_o be_v evince_v in_o actual_a redeem_n of_o they_o now_o there_o remain_v a_o four_o observation_n to_o be_v speak_v to_o that_o it_o be_v the_o great_a and_o peculiar_a ground_n of_o hope_n and_o encouragement_n to_o god_n israel_n that_o he_o will_v redeem_v they_o from_o all_o their_o iniquity_n which_o be_v the_o very_a word_n of_o the_o text_n he_o shall_v redeem_v israel_n from_o all_o his_o iniquity_n therefore_o let_v israel_n hope_v in_o forefault_n that_o bargain_n be_v once_o break_v it_o be_v everlasting_o and_o irrecoverable_o break_v but_o here_o be_v the_o gospel_n glad_a news_n and_o great_a encouragement_n that_o iniquity_n if_o folk_n be_v seek_v redemption_n from_o they_o need_v not_o hinder_v hope_n in_o god_n that_o when_o as_o it_o be_v rom._n 3.20_o by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o law_n there_o shall_v no_o flesh_n be_v justify_v in_o his_o sight_n for_o by_o the_o law_n be_v the_o knowledge_n of_o sin_n that_o verse_n 21._o there_o be_v a_o righteousness_n of_o god_n without_o the_o law_n manifest_v be_v witness_v by_o the_o law_n and_o the_o prophet_n that_o afford_v ground_n of_o hope_n that_o when_o israel_n have_v trespass_v against_o god_n yet_o now_o there_o be_v hope_n in_o israel_n concern_v this_o thing_n ezra_n 10.2_o in_o a_o word_n these_o be_v no_o small_a part_n of_o the_o glad_a news_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o there_o be_v any_o try_v betwixt_o god_n and_o sinful_a man_n that_o every_o step_n in_o guilt_n be_v not_o a_o step_n into_o utter_a despair_n that_o man_n upon_o every_o fail_n have_v not_o do_v everlasting_o with_o any_o ground_n of_o hope_n to_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n face_n in_o favour_n that_o be_v the_o first_o and_o chief_a part_n of_o the_o glad_a news_n of_o the_o gospel_n 2._o consider_v what_o it_o be_v that_o god_n do_v in_o reference_n to_o a_o purify_a and_o peculiar_a people_n to_o himself_o zealous_a of_o good_a work_n i_o shall_v not_o need_v here_o to_o obviate_v the_o socinian_o cavillation_n who_o from_o this_o phrase_n of_o redeem_n from_o iniquity_n will_v obscure_v the_o truth_n of_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o christ_n as_o if_o the_o term_n redemption_n do_v not_o import_v a_o satisfaction_n or_o pay_v of_o a_o price_n for_o say_v they_o we_o be_v redeem_v from_o the_o iniquity_n and_o power_n of_o satan_n to_o who_o no_o satisfaction_n be_v pay_v but_o that_o be_v but_o a_o mistake_n of_o the_o import_n of_o the_o phrase_n for_o as_o it_o be_v speak_v of_o in_o reference_n to_o god_n it_o import_v constant_o a_o ransom_n as_o job_n 33.24_o deliver_v he_o from_o go_v down_o to_o the_o pit_n i_o have_v find_v a_o
