and_o their_o religion_n submit_v yourselves_o etc._n etc._n there_o be_v in_o the_o word_n divers_a particular_n to_o be_v consider_v all_o concur_v to_o press_v this_o main_a duty_n of_o obedience_n to_o magistrate_n not_o only_o as_o well_o consistent_a with_o true_a religion_n but_o as_o indeed_o inseparable_a from_o it_o not_o to_o parcel_n out_o the_o word_n into_o many_o piece_n they_o may_v all_o abate_v our_o obedience_n to_o that_o which_o possess_v in_o present_a where_o we_o live_v what_o form_n of_o government_n be_v most_o just_a and_o commodious_a god_n have_v indeed_o be_v more_o express_a in_o the_o officer_n and_o government_n of_o his_o own_o house_n his_o church_n but_o civil_a society_n he_o have_v leave_v at_o liberty_n in_o the_o choose_n and_o model_v of_o civil_a government_n though_o always_o indeed_o overrule_a their_o choice_n and_o change_n in_o that_o by_o the_o secret_a hand_n of_o his_o wise_a and_o powerful_a providence_n yet_o he_o have_v set_v they_o no_o particular_a rule_n touch_v the_o frame_n of_o it_o only_o the_o common_a rule_n of_o equity_n and_o justice_n be_v to_o be_v regard_v both_o in_o the_o contrive_n and_o manage_n of_o government_n and_o yet_o though_o it_o be_v some_o way_n defective_a in_o both_o they_o that_o be_v subject_a to_o it_o be_v in_o all_o thing_n lawful_a to_o submit_v to_o its_o authority_n whether_o suprem_a or_o subordinate_a as_o we_o have_v it_o here_o express_o whether_o to_o the_o king_n as_o supreme_a namely_o to_o the_o emperor_n or_o to_o the_o governor_n send_v by_o he_o which_o though_o a_o judicious_a interpreter_n refert_n to_o god_n and_o will_v not_o admit_v of_o any_o other_o sense_n yet_o it_o seem_v most_o suitable_a both_o to_o the_o word_n and_o to_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o government_n of_o those_o province_n to_o take_v that_o word_n to_o he_o as_o relate_v to_o the_o king_n for_o the_o they_o that_o be_v send_v answer_v to_o the_o other_o the_o king_n as_o supreme_a and_o so_o be_v a_o very_a clear_a designment_n of_o the_o inferior_a governor_n of_o those_o time_n and_o place_n and_o whatsoever_o be_v their_o end_n that_o send_v they_o and_o their_o carriage_n that_o be_v send_v that_o which_o the_o apostle_n add_v express_v the_o end_n for_o which_o they_o shall_v be_v send_v to_o govern_v and_o at_o which_o they_o shall_v aim_v in_o govern_v as_o the_o true_a end_n of_o all_o government_n and_o though_o they_o be_v not_o full_o true_a to_o that_o end_n in_o their_o deportment_n but_o possible_o do_v many_o thing_n unjust_o yet_o as_o god_n have_v ordain_v authority_n for_o this_o end_n there_o be_v always_o so_o much_o justice_n in_o the_o most_o deprave_a government_n as_o be_v a_o public_a good_a and_o therefore_o put_v upon_o inferior_n a_o obligation_n to_o obedience_n and_o this_o lead_v we_o to_o consider_v the_o second_o thing_n the_o ground_n of_o this_o duty_n 2_o the_o main_a ground_n of_o submit_v to_o humane_a authority_n be_v the_o interest_n that_o divine_a authority_n have_v in_o it_o have_v both_o apponited_a civil_a government_n as_o a_o common_a good_a among_o man_n and_o particular_o command_v his_o people_n obedience_n to_o it_o as_o a_o particular_a good_a to_o they_o and_o a_o thing_n very_o suitable_a with_o their_o profession_n it_o be_v for_o the_o lord_n sake_n this_o word_n carry_v the_o whole_a weight_n of_o the_o duty_n and_o be_v a_o counter_a balance_n to_o the_o former_a which_o seem_v to_o be_v therefore_o on_o purpose_n so_o expressy_v that_o this_o may_v answer_v it_o although_o civil_a authority_n in_o regard_n of_o particular_a form_n of_o government_n and_o the_o choice_n of_o particular_a person_n to_o govern_v be_v but_o a_o humane_a ordinance_n or_o man_n
