say_v you_o for_o the_o people_n to_o join_v in_o that_o case_n but_o if_o unlawful_a for_o the_o people_n to_o join_v when_o a_o ungodly_a minister_n read_v some_o few_o select_a prayer_n it_o be_v either_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o minister_n or_o the_o prayer_n themselves_o not_o of_o the_o prayer_n themselves_o for_o they_o be_v select_a and_o choice_n faultless_a in_o respect_n of_o matter_n and_o manner_n 〈◊〉_d be_v take_v for_o grant_v unless_o th●…_n distribution_n be_v be_v no_o purpose_n if_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o minister_n than_o it_o be_v not_o lawful_a to_o join_v with_o such_o a_o one_o in_o any_o ordinance_n of_o god_n whatsoever_o in_o that_o you_o analyse_v our_o two_o proposition_n into_o three_o we_o shall_v not_o contend_v but_o follow_v your_o method_n yet_o we_o can_v but_o marvel_v at_o the_o liberty_n that_o be_v take_v in_o state_v the_o first_o proposition_n both_o leave_v out_o and_o add_v such_o thing_n as_o will_v not_o stand_v with_o the_o term_n in_o our_o answer_n and_o indeed_o this_o be_v too_o frequent_a in_o divers_a place_n of_o this_o reply_n which_o give_v a_o great_a colour_n of_o strength_n unto_o the_o argument_n but_o when_o they_o come_v to_o be_v scan_v it_o will_v discover_v the_o impertinency_n of_o they_o for_o 1_o although_o the_o answer_n distinguish_v of_o the_o liturgy_n either_o of_o the_o whole_a or_o of_o some_o select_a prayer_n which_o may_v be_v conceive_v to_o be_v less_o offensive_a yet_o the_o application_n of_o this_o of_o select_a prayer_n be_v only_o make_v in_o the_o second_o proposition_n of_o the_o answer_n no_o way_n intend_v in_o the_o first_o neither_o do_v the_o answer_n confess_v those_o prayer_n as_o you_o say_v to_o be_v choice_n and_o faultless_a for_o matter_n and_o manner_n but_o which_o may_v be_v conceive_v less_o offensive_a 2_o whereas_o the_o proposition_n be_v of_o a_o unable_a and_o ungodly_a minister_n such_o unlearned_a idol-priest_n that_o be_v countenance_v and_o establish_v by_o the_o liturgy_n and_o can_v do_v no_o more_o than_o read_v the_o same_o to_o the_o unspeakable_a hazard_n and_o ruin_n of_o a_o multitude_n of_o soul_n you_o carry_v along_o your_o argument_n only_o in_o the_o term_n of_o a_o ungodly_a minister_n which_o leave_v out_o one_o chief_a ground_n of_o our_o proposition_n viz._n unable_a to_o reduce_v therefore_o this_o proposition_n unto_o its_o true_a state_n which_o the_o answer_n put_v it_o in_o which_o be_v thus_o if_o the_o question_n be_v of_o join_v in_o prayer_n with_o and_o when_o that_o whole_a liturgy_n our_o thought_n to_o impute_v it_o to_o they_o to_o read_v the_o select_a prayer_n only_o the_o question_n be_v right_o state_v the_o argument_n will_v halt_v very_o much_o for_o we_o say_v it_o be_v unlawful_a in_o both_o respect_n and_o the_o rather_o when_o joint_o consider_v and_o therefore_o you_o shall_v first_o have_v justify_v the_o whole_a liturgy_n or_o so_o much_o as_o such_o idol-priest_n use_v to_o read_v to_o be_v lawful_a and_o also_o the_o stand_n and_o call_v of_o those_o man_n before_o the_o argument_n can_v hold_v both_o which_o you_o have_v whole_o leave_v naked_a without_o proof_n and_o argue_v only_o about_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o join_v with_o a_o ungodly_a minister_n in_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n which_o will_v not_o reach_v this_o case_n if_o one_o shall_v affirm_v it_o be_v unlawful_a to_o go_v to_o matin_n or_o evensong_n when_o the_o whole_a be_v read_v or_o that_o which_o be_v read_v 〈◊〉_d do_v by_o a_o popish_a priest_n and_o you_o shall_v
