mistake_v the_o true_a sense_n of_o some_o special_a place_n of_o scripture_n and_o ground_n of_o christian_a religion_n the_o second_o hindrance_n of_o piety_n 2._o the_o evil_a example_n of_o great_a person_n the_o practice_n of_o who_o profane_a life_n they_o prefer_v for_o their_o imitation_n before_o the_o precept_n of_o god_n holy_a word_n so_o that_o when_o they_o see_v the_o great_a man_n in_o the_o state_n and_o many_o chief_a gentleman_n in_o their_o country_n to_o make_v neither_o care_n nor_o conscience_n to_o hear_v sermon_n to_o receive_v the_o communion_n nor_o to_o sanctify_v the_o lord_n sabbath_n etc._n etc._n but_o to_o be_v swearer_n adulterer_n carouser_n oppressor_n etc._n etc._n then_o they_o think_v that_o the_o use_n of_o these_o holy_a ordinance_n be_v not_o matter_n of_o so_o great_a moment_n for_o if_o they_o be_v such_o great_a and_o wise_a man_n will_v not_o set_v so_o little_a by_o they_o hereupon_o they_o think_v that_o religion_n be_v not_o
