text._n for_o this_o whole_a verse_n at_o the_o first_o view_n seem_v only_o a_o mere_a thesis_n or_o point_n of_o belief_n that_o christ_n come_v into_o the_o world_n to_o save_v sinner_n illustrate_v and_o apply_v by_o the_o speaker_n as_o one_o and_o the_o chief_a of_o the_o number_n of_o those_o sinner_n to_o be_v save_v but_o it_o contain_v a_o most_o rhetorical_a powerful_a exhortation_n to_o both_o understanding_n and_o will_n to_o believe_v this_o faithful_a say_n that_o christ_n come_v etc._n etc._n and_o to_o accept_v lay_v hold_v of_o and_o with_o all_o our_o might_n to_o embrace_v and_o apply_v to_o each_o of_o ourselves_o this_o great_a mercy_n towards_o this_o great_a salvation_n bestow_v on_o sinner_n who_o can_v with_o humility_n confess_v their_o sin_n and_o with_o faith_n lie_v hold_v on_o the_o promise_n and_o this_o be_v the_o business_n of_o the_o verse_n and_o the_o plain_a matter_n of_o this_o obscure_a double_a exhortation_n to_o every_o man_n understanding_n that_o he_o believe_v that_o christ_n etc._n etc._n to_o every_o man_n affection_n that_o he_o humble_v himself_o and_o teach_v his_o heart_n and_o that_o his_o tongue_n to_o confess_v of_o all_o sinner_n etc._n etc._n this_o text_n shall_v not_o be_v divide_v into_o part_n which_o be_v to_o disorder_n and_o distract_v the_o significancy_n of_o a_o proposition_n but_o into_o several_a consideration_n for_o so_o it_o be_v to_o be_v conceive_v either_o absolute_o as_o a_o profession_n of_o s._n paul_n of_o himself_o and_o there_o we_o will_v inquire_v whether_o and_o how_o paul_n be_v the_o chief_a of_o all_o sinner_n second_o respective_o to_o we_o for_o who_o this_o form_n of_o confess_v the_o state_n and_o apply_v the_o salvation_n of_o sinner_n to_o
