this_o way_n it_o must_v have_v understand_v it_o and_o express_v it_o and_o it_o be_v a_o just_a prescription_n against_o a_o method_n of_o resolve_v faith_n that_o the_o ancient_a christian_a church_n which_o consist_v i_o hope_v of_o true_a believer_n never_o know_v any_o thing_n concern_v it_o and_o yet_o i_o suppose_v they_o have_v absolute_a certainty_n of_o their_o faith_n though_o they_o have_v different_a translation_n of_o the_o bible_n among_o they_o 2._o as_o to_o the_o number_n of_o book_n i_o do_v not_o deny_v that_o there_o be_v in_o the_o first_o age_n a_o difference_n in_o several_a church_n about_o the_o number_n of_o canonical_a book_n but_o this_o do_v not_o hinder_v that_o universal_a testimony_n i_o mention_v for_o 1._o it_o add_v weight_n to_o the_o church_n testimony_n that_o where_o there_o be_v any_o controversy_n about_o any_o canonical_a book_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n the_o matter_n be_v examine_v and_o debate_v and_o at_o last_o after_o a_o through_o discussion_n the_o book_n be_v receive_v as_o happen_v about_o the_o epistle_n to_o the_o hebrew_n which_o be_v not_o receive_v by_o the_o authority_n of_o one_o church_n impose_v upon_o plead_v no_o universal_a testimony_n of_o the_o christian_a church_n and_o so_o my_o plea_n for_o absolute_a certainty_n be_v groundless_a to_o this_o i_o answer_v 1._o if_o it_o be_v agree_v that_o all_o doctrine_n of_o faith_n necessary_a to_o salvation_n be_v contain_v in_o scripture_n either_o explicit_o or_o implicit_o which_o mr._n m._n deny_v not_o it_o be_v sufficient_a for_o my_o assume_v to_o itself_o the_o power_n of_o make_v implicit_a article_n to_o become_v explicit_a by_o its_o declare_v the_o sense_n of_o they_o do_v not_o overthrow_v the_o certainty_n of_o our_o faith._n for_o as_o long_o as_o it_o be_v grant_v that_o all_o necessary_a article_n of_o faith_n be_v there_o explicit_o or_o implicit_o by_o a_o universal_a consent_n of_o the_o christian_a church_n there_o be_v divine_a revelation_n in_o scripture_n which_o be_v contain_v there_o virtual_o and_o implicit_o so_o as_o they_o need_v the_o church_n interpretation_n and_o authority_n for_o be_v

ground_n for_o our_o faith_n without_o any_o need_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n infallibility_n which_o be_v the_o thing_n to_o be_v show_v but_o mr._n m._n tell_v i_o p._n 14._o that_o you_o ask_v i_o whether_o i_o include_v the_o arian_n nestorian_n eutychian_o and_o calvinist_n and_o urge_v that_o this_o question_n may_v be_v write_v down_o to_o which_o i_o do_v not_o consent_v because_o mr._n t._n declare_v he_o be_v full_o satisfy_v and_o desire_v to_o propose_v a_o new_a question_n to_o mr._n g._n i_o grant_v you_o do_v ask_v i_o the_o question_v several_a time_n whether_o i_o ground_n than_o those_o who_o go_v upon_o the_o baffle_a pretence_n of_o the_o infallibility_n of_o oral_a tradition_n for_o which_o no_o one_o church_n of_o the_o christian_a world_n have_v declare_v for_o the_o infallibility_n of_o tradition_n in_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n be_v another_o thing_n depend_v upon_o a_o divine_a promise_n and_o not_o a_o kind_n of_o mere_a natural_a infallibility_n some_o colour_n for_o such_o a_o strange_a assertion_n this_o be_v all_o he_o pretend_v for_o it_o that_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o reformation_n the_o protestant_n charge_v all_o christian_a
