be_v many_o fest_n because_o we_o see_v by_o experience_n that_o both_o they_o may_v and_o have_v be_v often_o deceive_v for_o they_o have_v revoke_v many_o thing_n correct_v many_o thing_n and_o in_o many_o thing_n have_v they_o contradict_v themselves_o as_o have_v be_v declare_v in_o our_o consultation_n of_o religion_n in_o the_o 9_o consideration_n and_o the_o sixth_o reason_n hence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o few_o now_o adays_o will_v rely_v upon_o their_o authority_n because_o they_o say_v they_o be_v man_n and_o therefore_o subject_a to_o error_n wherefore_o their_o follower_n also_o do_v leave_v they_o at_o their_o own_o pleasure_n when_o they_o think_v they_o have_v find_v any_o thing_n fit_a for_o their_o purpose_n their_o authority_n therefore_o be_v deceitful_a &_o uncertain_a even_o by_o the_o judgement_n of_o their_o own_o scholar_n and_o follower_n neither_o be_v the_o other_o to_o wit_n the_o private_a judgement_n whereby_o they_o expound_v the_o holy_a scripture_n less_o deceitful_a for_o many_o false_a thing_n by_o that_o private_a judgement_n seem_v to_o be_v true_a and_o many_o thing_n which_o before_o seem_v true_a be_v afterward_o judge_v false_a from_o hence_o arise_v so_o great_a variety_n and_o inconstancy_n in_o many_o of_o they_o concern_v matter_n of_o faith_n because_o indeed_o man_n judgement_n be_v weak_a especial_o in_o the_o mystery_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o the_o understanding_n of_o holy_a scripture_n the_o which_o far_o exceed_v the_o reach_n of_o man_n wisdom_n and_o reason_n many_o do_v answer_v that_o they_o do_v not_o rely_v upon_o their_o judgement_n in_o matter_n of_o faith_n but_o upon_o the_o holy_a scripture_n which_o can_v err_v scripture_n whether_o all_o sectary_n do_v rely_v upon_o the_o scripture_n wherein_o how_o miserable_o they_o be_v deceive_v by_o this_o appear_v because_o almost_o all_o the_o sect_n do_v say_v that_o they_o rely_v upon_o holy_a scripture_n whereas_o notwithstanding_o they_o differ_v among_o themselves_o in_o most_o of_o the_o matter_n one_o teach_v contrary_a unto_o another_o the_o which_o can_v by_o no_o mean_n come_v to_o pass_v if_o they_o do_v not_o rest_n upon_o their_o own_o judgment_n but_o upon_o the_o lawful_a and_o common_a understanding_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n for_o the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v not_o where_o contrary_a unto_o itself_o neither_o do_v it_o any_o where_o disagree_v from_o itself_o that_o therefore_o they_o so_o great_o jar_n &_o disagree_v among_o themselves_o be_v cause_v by_o that_o they_o make_v a_o sense_n to_o the_o holy_a scripture_n according_a to_o their_o own_o private_a judgement_n the_o which_o be_v diverse_o frame_v by_o they_o according_a to_o the_o diversity_n of_o judgment_n and_o understanding_n among_o they_o they_o rely_v therefore_o upon_o the_o holy_a scripture_n not_o as_o it_o be_v interpret_v by_o the_o catholic_a church_n &_o the_o holy_a father_n but_o as_o they_o in_o their_o private_a judgement_n do_v interpret_v it_o for_o the_o virtue_n and_o force_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n do_v not_o only_o consist_v in_o the_o bare_a word_n but_o in_o the_o sense_n and_o
