a_o â—eer_n foist_v of_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n but_o can_v thou_o pray_v and_o show_v that_o christ_n send_v thou_o and_o say_v as_o the_o servant_n i_o come_v from_o my_o master_n and_o he_o send_v i_o lord_n it_o be_v for_o christ_n that_o i_o come_v it_o be_v not_o to_o satisfy_v my_o own_o lust_n nor_o to_o ease_v and_o deliver_v i_o from_o the_o gall_n of_o my_o conscience_n nor_o to_o free_v i_o from_o hell_n but_o for_o christ_n lord_n i_o beg_v grace_n anâ—_n holiness_n that_o i_o may_v have_v power_n to_o glorify_v christ_n it_o be_v for_o the_o honour_n of_o my_o lord_n christ_n that_o i_o come_v when_o the_o soul_n come_v thus_o in_o christ_n name_n believe_v it_o shall_v speed_v than_o his_o prayer_n shall_v prevail_v whatsoever_o say_v christ_n you_o shall_v ask_v the_o father_n in_o my_o name_n he_o will_v give_v it_o you_o we_o come_v now_o to_o the_o three_o and_o last_o part_n of_o our_o text_n to_o wit_n the_o supply_v they_o have_v against_o danger_n and_o discouragement_n the_o lord_n uphold_v their_o heart_n from_o be_v dismay_v in_o prayer_n thou_o say_v fear_v not_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n that_o do_v much_o hurt_v in_o prayer_n first_o groundless_a encouragement_n second_o needless_a discouragement_n first_o i_o say_v groundless_a encouragement_n and_o these_o the_o wicked_a be_v most_o subject_a to_o especial_o who_o because_o they_o pray_v hear_v the_o word_n and_o perform_v many_o duty_n of_o religion_n therefore_o they_o encourage_v themselves_o in_o the_o goodness_n of_o their_o estate_n judge_v themselves_o happy_a though_o notwithstanding_o they_o go_v on_o and_o continue_v in_o the_o hardness_n of_o their_o heart_n and_o rebellion_n against_o god_n we_o have_v abundance_n of_o say_n among_o we_o that_o if_o they_o be_v examine_v will_v prove_v false_a and_o unsound_a as_o that_o the_o viper_n die_v when_o they_o bring_v forth_o their_o young_a for_o say_v they_o the_o young_a eat_v out_o the_o old_a one_o bowel_n that_o bear_v shape_v all_o their_o young_a by_o lick_v of_o they_o that_o the_o swan_n sing_v sweet_a at_o her_o death_n that_o the_o adamant_n stone_n be_v soften_v by_o goat_n blood_n etc._n etc._n these_o thing_n be_v not_o so_o as_o may_v be_v show_v out_o of_o ancient_a writer_n so_o belove_v there_o be_v abundance_n of_o say_n that_o go_v up_o and_o down_o among_o man_n concern_v divinity_n which_o if_o they_o be_v examine_v will_v prove_v to_o be_v rot_a say_n as_o he_o that_o make_v they_o will_v save_v they_o it_o be_v not_o so_o say_v the_o prophet_n
