2.15_o and_o the_o secret_a pleasure_n and_o satisfaction_n man_n take_v in_o their_o own_o innocence_n or_o good_a action_n prove_v a_o reward_n on_o the_o one_o hand_n as_o well_o as_o the_o fear_n and_o horror_n which_o the_o conscience_n of_o the_o most_o sly_a and_o secret_a sinner_n subject_v they_o to_o speak_v the_o punishment_n they_o expect_v on_o the_o other_o and_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v only_a impression_n make_v upon_o man_n fancy_n in_o their_o tender_a year_n it_o be_v strange_a that_o all_o the_o reason_n they_o grow_v up_o to_o exercise_n and_o all_o the_o art_n many_o obstinate_a sinner_n make_v use_v of_o on_o purpose_n to_o obliterate_v they_o and_o to_o impress_v the_o contrary_a upon_o their_o mind_n together_o with_o a_o thousand_o other_o species_n print_v on_o their_o imagination_n by_o their_o employment_n their_o pleasure_n and_o all_o the_o various_a occasion_n and_o accident_n of_o their_o life_n shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o rid_v they_o of_o these_o so_o unpleasing_a sentiment_n 3._o something_o may_v be_v say_v even_o from_o natural_a reason_n to_o prove_v this_o reward_n to_o consist_v in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n and_o so_o not_o only_o to_o evince_v the_o reality_n of_o some_o happiness_n but_o of_o this_o in_o particular_a in_o the_o other_o life_n for_o 1._o it_o will_v scarce_o be_v deny_v but_o that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v capable_a of_o enjoy_v god_n as_o its_o sovereign_a good_a i._n e._n of_o most_o intense_o delight_v and_o entire_o acquiesce_v in_o he_o as_o a_o good_a suitable_a to_o the_o spiritual_a nature_n and_o sufficient_a for_o the_o vast_a capacity_n of_o a_o immortal_a soul_n some_o of_o the_o heathen_a come_v near_o this_o when_o they_o state_v man_n happiness_n as_o consist_v in_o the_o contemplation_n of_o the_o high_a be_v and_o indeed_o the_o very_a nature_n and_o operation_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o its_o apprehend_v spiritual_a object_n amount_v to_o little_o less_o than_o a_o demonstration_n of_o this_o 2._o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n be_v the_o great_a good_n any_o creature_n can_v be_v capable_a of_o god_n be_v in_o himself_o absolute_o the_o great_a good_a because_o a_o infinite_a one_o and_o comprehensive_a of_o all_o perfection_n and_o there_o can_v be_v no_o great_a good_a than_o to_o be_v possess_v of_o he_o that_o be_v the_o great_a 3._o the_o reward_n and_o riches_n and_o pleasure_n of_o this_o world_n and_o delight_n of_o sense_n can_v never_o be_v to_o the_o soul_n instead_o of_o god_n because_o they_o be_v unsuitable_a to_o its_o nature_n which_o be_v spiritual_a to_o its_o duration_n which_o be_v immortal_a and_o to_o those_o appetite_n god_n have_v implant_v in_o it_o it_o be_v very_a capacity_n of_o enjoy_v god_n be_v attend_v with_o a_o secret_a inclination_n to_o it_o insomuch_o that_o many_o time_n when_o a_o man_n may_v not_o have_v a_o explicit_a and_o distinct_a knowledge_n of_o the_o good_a he_o want_v yet_o be_v unsatisfied_a with_o what_o he_o have_v though_o never_o so_o great_a he_o find_v a_o want_n of_o something_o else_o and_o because_o he_o want_v it_o he_o desire_v it_o though_o he_o know_v not_o clear_o what_o it_o be_v to_o make_v he_o happy_a 2._o it_o be_v most_o congruous_a to_o the_o wisdom_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n to_o appoint_v the_o great_a good_a to_o be_v the_o happiness_n of_o the_o noble_a of_o his_o creature_n not_o that_o they_o deserve_v it_o but_o because_o he_o may_v be_v most_o glorify_v by_o it_o and_o because_o he_o have_v give_v they_o a_o nature_n capable_a of_o it_o as_o he_o suit_v the_o good_a of_o other_o creature_n to_o the_o capacity_n he_o have_v give_v they_o so_o he_o do_v the_o good_a of_o man_n none_o but_o angel_n and_o man_n be_v capable_a of_o enjoy_v or_o active_o glorify_v he_o and_o god_n have_v capacitate_v they_o for_o that_o suit_n their_o good_a to_o their_o capacity_n it_o have_v not_o be_v agreeable_a to_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n for_o man_n
