truth_n of_o these_o thing_n yet_o ere_o i_o leave_v the_o word_n mark_v further_o he_o be_v speak_v of_o the_o godly_a that_o be_v persecute_v and_o he_o bring_v in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n render_v and_o yet_o he_o say_v not_o he_o shall_v render_v vengeance_n to_o they_o that_o afflict_a and_o trouble_v the_o godly_a he_o speak_v not_o of_o they_o that_o be_v afflict_v but_o he_o say_v to_o they_o who_o obey_v not_o the_o gospel_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n so_o he_o touch_v the_o ground_n persecution_n and_o trouble_v of_o the_o saint_n rise_v ever_o on_o this_o ground_n rebellion_n to_o god_n rebellion_n to_o christ_n no_o persecuter_n but_o a_o rebel_n to_o god_n a_o contemner_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n be_v be_v a_o contemner_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n and_o in_o the_o meane-tyme_n with_o this_o he_o comfort_v the_o persecute_v thessalonian_o they_o shall_v not_o escape_v trouble_n who_o have_v trouble_v you_o because_o the_o lord_n his_fw-mi his_o enterest_n and_o therefore_o assure_v the●_n if_o there_o be_v no_o other_o thing_n but_o this_o rebel_n against_o god_n and_o christ_n of_o necessity_n vengeance_n must_v follow_v trouble_v ever_o rise_v of_o misknowledge_n of_o god_n what_o matter_n of_o man_n in_o afflict_a man_n they_o treble_a against_o god_n and_o that_o rebel_a shall_v not_o escape_v punishment_n now_o in_o the_o next_o word_n he_o come_v more_o particular_o to_o the_o vengeance_n to_o scanse_v of_o these_o thing_n ove●_n far_o it_o be_v but_o vain_a curiosity_n therefore_o it_o be_v expedient_a in_o these_o thing_n to_o ●old_a fast_o the_o plain_a word_n that_o we_o alter_v not_o to_o the_o one_o side_n nor_o to_o the_o other_o curious_a spirit_n have_v speak_v much_o of_o this_o matter_n without_o any_o ground_n it_o may_v have_v be_v ask_v what_o can_v this_o vengeance_n be_v he_o answer_v and_o call_v i●_n a_o perdition_n then_o he_o call_v it_o everlasting_a perdition_n and_o wrack_n of_o the_o creature_n there_o be_v sundry_a sort_n of_o vengence_n all_o vengence_n be_v not_o the_o utter_a wrack_n of_o the_o creature_n for_o many_o man_n after_o punishment_n will_v get_v up_o their_o head_n again_o and_o come_v through_o but_o after_o this_o punishment_n utter_a wrack_n and_o perdition_n shall_v follow_v a_o beast_n when_o it_o die_v and_o be_v fell_v it_o be_v wrack_v but_o look_v the_o nature_n of_o this_o wrack_n it_o shall_v be_v everlasting_a a_o wrack_n without_o a_o end_n a_o death_n without_o a_o death_n a_o death_n that_o shall_v never_o have_v a_o end_n ay_o die_v and_o never_o dead_a so_o first_o it_o shall_v be_v perdition_n and_o a_o utter_a wrack_n and_o then_o never_o shall_v have_v a_o end_n the_o ho●ling_n and_o utter_a cry_n of_o the_o reprobat_fw-la in_o hell_n ●_o how_o dolorous_a be_v it_o but_o what_o matter_n of_o the_o extremity_n of_o it_o if_o it_o have_v a_o end_n but_o alas_o extremity_n without_o end_n of_o pain_n how_o dolorous_a be_v it_o many_o will_v never_o know_v this_o till_o they_o be_v shoot_v in_o hell_n heaven_n and_o hell_n be_v think_v mock_v many_o will_v never_o know_v there_o be_v a_o hell_n until_o they_o feel_v it_o in_o experience_n the_o lord_n waken_v we_o that_o once_o we_o may_v think_v of_o this_o alas_o there_o be_v such_o a_o stupidity_n in_o the_o hart_n of_o man_n that_o he_o can_v never_o believe_v this_o so_o there_o the_o vengeance_n a_o perdition_n and_o a_o endless_a perdition_n now_o in_o one_o word_n he_o resolve_v this_o particular_a vengeance_n in_o the_o own_o ground_n there_o be_v first_o a_o perdition_n then_o a_o eternity_n of_o perdition_n in_o the_o next_o word_n he_o let_v you_o see_v the_o ground_n first_o of_o perdition_n and_o then_o of_o the_o eternity_n thereof_o as_o to_o the_o perdition_n itself_o he_o say_v it_o come_v from_o the_o face_n of_o god_n the_o wicked_a shall_v not_o see_v so_o soon_o the_o face_n of_o jesus_n christ_n the_o judge_n at_o that_o day_n but_o as_o soon_o they_o shall_v melt_v away_o as_o the_o wax_n at_o the_o fire_n and_o as_o you_o see_v the_o matter_n of_o melt_v be_v in_o the_o wax_n itself_o so_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o melt_a of_o the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v in_o themselves_o but_o what_o matter_n if_o it_o have_v a_o end_n and_o therefore_o next_o he_o lay_v down_o the_o ground_n of_o ●rernitie_n ●aine_o from_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o infinite_a judge_n the_o power_n of_o the_o glorious_a judge_n be_v eternal_a infinite_a and_o endless_a the_o power_n of_o man_n have_v a_o end_n he_o be_v a_o mighty_a monarch_n to_o day_n but_o to_o morrow_n evanish_v his_o power_n last_v not_o but_o the_o power_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n shall_v never_o havean_n end_n and_o from_o once_o he_o begin_v to_o pu●_n the_o finger_n of_o his_o power_n on_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o wicked_a they_o shall_v never_o be_v free_a of_o vengeance_n it_o be_v a_o terrible_a thing_n to_o fa●in_v the_o hand_n of_o a_o angry_a god_n from_o once_o he_o grip_v thou_o his_o hand_n shall_v never_o louse_o his_o power_n endure_v ever_o and_o therefore_o shall_v thy_o pain_n endure_v ever_o so_o you_o that_o will_v think_v a_o endless_a pain_n can_v be_v lift_v up_o your_o eye_n and_o consider_v the_o eternity_n of_o his_o power_n and_o infinitne_v of_o god_n and_o then_o you_o may_v see_v the_o great_a and_o everlasting_a
