he_o be_v the_o power_n of_o god_n to_o save_v any_o man_n that_o believe_v and_o wheresoever_o we_o come_v we_o preach_v this_o doctrine_n so_o again_o you_o may_v see_v heb._n 7._o 24_o 25._o this_o man_n have_v a_o unchangeable_a priesthood_n for_o he_o be_v able_a to_o save_v to_o the_o utmost_a all_o those_o that_o come_v unto_o he_o etc._n etc._n as_o who_o shall_v say_v he_o be_v a_o stubborn_a and_o all_o the_o mean_n and_o ordinance_n you_o have_v enjoy_v have_v not_o tame_v you_o why_o yet_o here_o be_v a_o saviour_n for_o you_o he_o be_v able_a to_o save_v you_o to_o the_o utmost_a though_o you_o be_v never_o so_o out_o with_o god_n and_o though_o god_n be_v never_o so_o much_o displease_v with_o your_o sinful_a course_n and_o all_o the_o angel_n and_o all_o the_o world_n can_v take_v away_o god_n wrath_n from_o you_o yet_o he_o be_v able_a to_o save_v you_o to_o the_o utmost_a if_o you_o will_v come_v unto_o he_o this_o be_v the_o tender_a of_o the_o gospel_n possibility_n for_o devil_n though_o they_o will_v never_o so_o fain_o to_o be_v save_v for_o christ_n take_v not_o upon_o he_o the_o nature_n of_o angel_n heb._n 2._o 16._o he_o do_v not_o meddle_v with_o they_o therefore_o now_o we_o can_v say_v to_o they_o if_o you_o believe_v you_o shall_v be_v save_v because_o there_o be_v possibility_n for_o they_o though_o they_o will_v never_o so_o fain_o the_o contrary_a to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o many_o godly_a and_o religious_a divine_n heretofore_o who_o seem_v to_o say_v that_o the_o gospel_n be_v only_o for_o the_o elect_v sake_n it_o be_v the_o doctrine_n of_o many_o divine_n if_o i_o know_v who_o be_v elect_v and_o who_o be_v not_o i_o will_v not_o deliver_v it_o to_o they_o this_o be_v a_o dangerous_a doctrine_n yet_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o doctrine_n be_v true_a that_o the_o gospel_n be_v proper_o bestow_v upon_o the_o elect_n to_o we_o a_o child_n be_v bear_v to_o we_o a_o child_n be_v give_v that_o be_v to_o the_o elect_n but_o yet_o this_o be_v not_o contradictory_n to_o that_o which_o i_o now_o deliver_v i_o deny_v not_o that_o christ_n be_v give_v intentional_o to_o god_n elect_v upon_o believe_v yet_o he_o be_v tender_v to_o other_o to_o and_o intend_v too_o upon_o that_o condition_n god_n can_v mock_v people_n and_o make_v as_o though_o they_o may_v have_v eternal_a life_n and_o can_v have_v it_o though_o never_o so_o fain_o it_o be_v not_o so_o but_o god_n deal_v serious_o with_o people_n for_o every_o man_n shall_v have_v christ_n that_o have_v a_o true_a and_o sincere_a heart_n now_o it_o be_v true_a this_o heart_n be_v only_o give_v of_o god_n because_o otherwise_o a_o man_n be_v stubborn_a and_o stiff-necked_a and_o will_v not_o give_v over_o his_o sin_n and_o deny_v himself_o but_o will_v rather_o have_v his_o own_o course_n than_o christ_n though_o he_o may_v have_v eternal_a life_n by_o he_o yet_o the_o proposition_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v general_a to_o every_o man_n that_o will_v believe_v and_o will_v have_v christ_n and_o this_o be_v necessary_a and_o this_o be_v the_o very_a selfsame_a doctrine_n that_o all_o divine_n have_v preach_v heretofore_o only_o it_o be_v deliver_v otherwise_o and_o the_o reason_n why_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n of_o deliver_v it_o thus_o be_v because_o this_o be_v the_o form_n of_o preach_v set_v down_o in_o the_o scripture_n and_o this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o fish_v out_o god_n elect_n and_o the_o best_a way_n to_o settle_v their_o mind_n and_o establish_v their_o conscience_n and_o this_o be_v the_o best_a way_n to_o feel_v and_o groap_n in_o congregation_n who_o be_v of_o god_n will_v thou_o have_v christ_n and_o eternal_a life_n and_o be_v deliver_v from_o thy_o sin_n thou_o may_v then_o have_v the_o pardon_n of_o thy_o sin_n and_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n now_o if_o a_o man_n be_v of_o god_n he_o will_v hear_v we_o if_o he_o be_v not_o he_o will_v not_o hear_v we_o this_o be_v the_o way_n scripture_n set_v down_o as_o you_o may_v see_v john_n 1._o 11._o he_o come_v to_o his_o own_o and_o his_o own_o receive_v he_o not_o christ_n come_v and_o offer_v himself_o to_o his_o own_o he_o call_v all_o his_o own_o spread_v his_o arm_n and_o leg_n but_o this_o be_v with_o much_o fear_n and_o misgive_n and_o he_o sometime_o set_v one_o leg_n on_o the_o ground_n and_o he_o have_v but_o little_a sense_n and_o feel_n of_o the_o water_n bear_v he_o because_o he_o commit_v not_o himself_o to_o the_o water_n but_o the_o more_o and_o more_o he_o commit_v himself_o to_o the_o water_n the_o more_o he_o find_v the_o water_n bear_v he_o and_o now_o he_o can_v fling_v away_o his_o bladder_n and_o swim_v over_o the_o river_n he_o do_v believe_v before_o that_o the_o water_n will_v bear_v he_o but_o when_o he_o do_v commit_v himself_o to_o the_o water_n he_o have_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o fear_n and_o can_v not_o swim_v to_o any_o purpose_n but_o when_o he_o have_v learn_v the_o art_n then_o he_o commit_v himself_o to_o the_o water_n and_o then_o he_o can_v spread_v his_o arm_n and_o leg_n and_o swim_v so_o when_o a_o man_n come_v first_o to_o believe_v in_o christ_n he_o think_v i_o shall_v be_v the_o happy_a man_n in_o the_o world_n i_o shall_v be_v in_o a_o better_a estate_n than_o king_n and_o prince_n â—f_n i_o can_v believe_v and_o withal_o it_o make_v he_o to_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o to_o deny_v himself_o and_o cast_v himself_o upon_o christ_n pluck_v up_o both_o his_o foot_n and_o commit_v himself_o to_o the_o water_n and_o fling_v out_o himself_o upon_o christ_n sink_v or_o swim_v yet_o at_o the_o first_o this_o be_v very_o weak_a and_o sometime_o he_o do_v it_o and_o sometime_o he_o do_v it_o not_o and_o sometime_o he_o be_v feell_v for_o this_o sometime_o for_o that_o and_o sometime_o he_o do_v not_o pray_v well_o enough_o and_o be_v not_o humble_a enough_o this_o be_v nothing_o but_o trust_v to_o himself_o may_v be_v a_o pleasure_n come_v he_o can_v deny_v it_o
