head_n and_o brief_o raise_v my_o argument_n thereon_o 1._o christ_n most_o positive_a exclusion_n of_o all_o from_o any_o portion_n in_o god_n kingdom_n who_o be_v not_o bear_v again_o in_o answer_n to_o nicodemus_n his_o carnal_a conceit_n of_o the_o impossibility_n of_o a_o old_a man_n enter_v a_o second_o time_n into_o his_o mother_n womb._n 2._o that_o the_o birth_n which_o all_o such_o as_o will_v inhererit_v god_n kingdom_n shall_v be_v witness_n of_o be_v and_o be_v the_o birth_n of_o water_n and_o the_o spirit_n upon_o which_o i_o thus_o proceed_v to_o argue_v if_o none_o can_v inherit_v god_n holy_a kingdom_n but_o those_o who_o be_v regenerate_v of_o water_n and_o the_o spirit_n than_o none_o can_v inherit_v god_n holy_a kingdom_n but_o such_o as_o be_v cleanse_v by_o water_n and_o teach_v lead_v and_o guide_v by_o god_n holy_a spirit_n the_o first_o none_o can_v deny_v that_o own_o the_o scripture_n it_o be_v but_o a_o part_n of_o the_o very_a verse_n quote_v the_o second_o i_o evident_o prove_v thus_o if_o water_n and_o spirit_n be_v the_o only_a operative_a to_o regeneration_n and_o regeneration_n the_o alone_a way_n to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n then_o can_v no_o man_n inherit_v god_n kingdom_n that_o be_v not_o regenerate_v neither_o can_v any_o man_n be_v regenerate_v that_o be_v not_o wash_v by_o the_o water_n of_o life_n beget_v work_v form_v inspire_v and_o act_v by_o that_o eternal_a spirit_n to_o newness_n of_o life_n that_o to_o be_v beget_v be_v to_o be_v principal_o guide_v and_o act_v by_o that_o by_o which_o any_o be_v so_o beget_v i_o prove_v no_o man_n can_v live_v move_v sensate_a or_o act_v but_o from_o the_o original_a heat_n life_n motion_n and_o action_n of_o that_o which_o do_v beget_v he_o because_o the_o nature_n of_o that_o which_o beget_v be_v convey_v to_o the_o beget_v true_o render_v he_o beget_v or_o else_o there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n but_o every_o regenerate_a man_n be_v the_o beget_v of_o the_o eternal_a spirit_n so_o far_o as_o concern_v his_o renovation_n or_o regeneration_n therefore_o every_o such_o regenerate_v man_n be_v and_o be_v lead_v motion_v and_o act_v by_o that_o eternal_a spirit_n which_o beget_v he_o and_o consequent_o the_o saint_n which_o be_v the_o regenerate_v be_v not_o leave_v destitute_a of_o a_o infallible_a teacher_n judge_n rule_n and_o guide_n among_o they_o in_o short_a we_o look_v upon_o be_v bear_v of_o water_n and_o the_o spirit_n to_o be_v our_o be_v cleanse_v from_o all_o filthiness_n and_o quicken_v inform_v rule_v and_o guide_v by_o to_o explain_v and_o a_o task_n i_o may_v without_o presumption_n say_v too_o great_a for_o our_o trifle_a antagonist_n to_o perform_v twelve_o john_n 14._o 16_o 17_o 18_o 20._o &_o 16._o 13._o and_o i_o will_v pray_v the_o father_n and_o he_o shall_v give_v you_o another_o comforter_n that_o he_o may_v abide_v with_o you_o forever_o even_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n who_o the_o world_n can_v receive_v because_o it_o see_v he_o not_o neither_o know_v he_o but_o you_o know_v he_o for_o he_o dwell_v with_o you_o and_o shall_v be_v in_o you_o i_o will_v not_o leave_v you_o comfortless_a i_o will_v come_v to_o you_o at_o that_o day_n you_o shall_v know_v that_o i_o be_o in_o my_o father_n and_o you_o in_o i_o and_o i_o in_o you_o again_o howbeit_o when_o he_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n be_v come_v be_v will_v guide_v you_o into_o all_o truth_n upon_o these_o divine_a passage_n thus_o particular_o express_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n i_o offer_v these_o short_a argument_n 1._o if_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n or_o most_o infallible_a spirit_n be_v god_n gift_n to_o his_o servant_n in_o gospel_n time_n to_o abide_v with_o they_o forever_o then_o be_v they_o accompany_v with_o a_o infallible_a spirit_n but_o we_o see_v the_o plain_a text_n prove_v that_o god_n give_v his_o spirit_n of_o truth_n to_o his_o servant_n that_o they_o may_v be_v assist_v in_o all_o their_o want_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o without_o such_o a_o infallible_a spirit_n and_o our_o adversary_n be_v more_o to_o blame_v to_o reflect_v upon_o the_o guidance_n of_o a_o infallible_a spirit_n which_o be_v so_o consonant_a with_o the_o express_a letter_n of_o a_o multitude_n of_o scripture_n passage_n than_o we_o be_v because_o we_o credit_v g._n f._n upon_o conviction_n and_o if_o he_o tell_v we_o that_o unless_o we_o believe_v what_o our_o eye_n see_v of_o contradiction_n as_o he_o pretend_v by_o he_o collect_v out_o of_o g._n f_n book_n that_o he_o will_v not_o believe_v whatever_o we_o shall_v say_v or_o affirm_v we_o may_v on_o much_o better_a ground_n conclude_v never_o to_o believe_v what_o he_o assert_n and_o whole_o to_o decline_v write_v or_o speak_v to_o he_o to_o use_v his_o own_o word_n if_o hereafter_o he_o will_v dare_v to_o continue_v in_o the_o belief_n of_o so_o anti-scriptural_a and_o anti-gospel_n a_o apprehension_n as_o that_o there_o be_v no_o infallible_a spirit_n to_o guide_v man_n in_o the_o way_n of_o salvation_n which_o be_v as_o express_v and_o evident_a from_o many_o naked_a text_n of_o scripture_n as_o that_o god_n be_v truth_n else_o never_o do_v any_o write_v more_o delude_v mankind_n because_o none_o can_v be_v more_o particular_a and_o plain_a in_o the_o promise_n and_o allowance_n of_o it_o but_o let_v god_n and_o his_o write_v will_v be_v true_a and_o our_o vnspiritual_a adversary_n in_o his_o confess_a fallible_a judgement_n of_o we_o a_o very_a lyar._n 2._o if_o the_o not_o see_v and_o know_v of_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n be_v the_o reason_n render_v by_o our_o lord_n jesus_n why_o the_o world_n receive_v it_o not_o then_o may_v we_o most_o just_o infer_v that_o they_o never_o see_v it_o neither_o know_v it_o but_o be_v of_o the_o world_n who_o can_v receive_v it_o but_o write_v against_o it_o in_o reference_n to_o its_o great_a office_n viz._n of_o be_v the_o saint_n teacher_n leader_n and_o confuse_a and_o disputative_a brain_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o decree_n and_o way_n of_o god_n manifest_v of_o his_o will_n from_o the_o conviction_n of_o the_o least_o sin_n to_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o the_o high_a glory_n therefore_o they_o disregard_n it_o as_o contemptible_a and_o disbelieve_v it_o as_o incredible_a 3._o if_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o saint_n knowledge_n of_o that_o infallible_a spirit_n be_v the_o spirit_n be_v inhabit_v they_o for_o he_o dwell_v with_o you_o and_o shall_v be_v in_o you_o then_o be_v they_o not_o without_o that_o spirit_n and_o or_o the_o commit_n of_o the_o other_o for_o to_o what_o do_v their_o conscience_n bear_v they_o witness_n if_o not_o to_o their_o do_v well_o or_o ill_a and_o consequent_o to_o acquit_v or_o accuse_v therefore_o their_o conscience_n do_v bear_v witness_n to_o the_o accuse_v or_o excuse_v as_o well_o as_o their_o thought_n for_o that_o their_o thought_n and_o opinion_n of_o one_o another_o innocency_n or_o gild_n be_v square_v by_o the_o witness_n that_o their_o conscience_n do_v give_v the_o place_n strong_o imply_v in_o short_a they_o can_v not_o make_v that_o judgement_n of_o one_o the_o gentile_n have_v in_o measure_n and_o our_o adversary_n grant_v it_o as_o well_o as_o his_o eminent_a preacher_n pag._n 40._o eight_o g._n f._n say_v in_o answer_n to_o the_o priest_n that_o deny_v he_o to_o be_v perfect_a who_o bridle_v his_o tongue_n 14._o which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o apostle_n james_n who_o say_v he_o be_v which_o our_o adversary_n call_v belie_v the_o apostle_n 1_o john_n 3._o 24._o and_o he_o that_o keep_v his_o commandment_n dwell_v in_o he_o and_o he_o in_o he_o and_o hereby_o we_o know_v that_o he_o abide_v in_o we_o by_o the_o spirit_n which_o he_o
