in_o their_o hand_n which_o be_v it_o seem_v according_a to_o the_o custom_n of_o those_o time_n make_v of_o almond-tree_n and_o to_o write_v every_o prince_n name_n on_o his_o rod_n and_o to_o write_v aaron_n name_n upon_o the_o rod_n of_o the_o tribe_n of_o levi._n he_o tell_v he_o that_o the_o man_n rod_n who_o he_o do_v choose_v to_o serve_v he_o in_o the_o priesthood_n shall_v blossom_v that_o be_v we_o see_v we_o be_v in_o continual_a danger_n of_o be_v sweep_v away_o with_o terrible_a judgement_n and_o as_o man_n terrify_v be_v wont_a to_o conceive_v their_o danger_n to_o be_v great_a than_o indeed_o it_o be_v they_o now_o apprehend_v that_o it_o will_v be_v exceed_o dangerous_a for_o they_o to_o come_v near_o the_o tabernacle_n or_o to_o be_v present_a at_o any_o worship_n or_o service_n there_o perform_v and_o seem_v to_o fear_v that_o god_n will_v not_o withdraw_v his_o indignation_n from_o they_o until_o he_o have_v destroy_v and_o consume_v they_o all_o ch._n 17._o whole_a chapter_n sect_n lxv_o the_o people_n be_v under_o such_o a_o fear_n and_o consternation_n the_o lord_n hereupon_o take_v order_n for_o the_o guard_n of_o the_o sanctuary_n and_o enjoin_v that_o every_o one_o shall_v remain_v within_o the_o verge_n and_o limit_n of_o his_o duty_n and_o so_o they_o shall_v be_v safe_a and_o he_o tell_v aaron_n that_o he_o and_o the_o priest_n and_o levite_n shall_v bear_v the_o iniquity_n of_o the_o sanctuary_n that_o be_v if_o any_o pollution_n people_n pollution_n thus_o the_o lord_n show_v himself_o reconcile_v and_o make_v the_o priest_n watch_v a_o ground_n of_o appease_v both_o the_o fear_n and_o envy_v of_o the_o people_n come_v to_o it_o by_o the_o people_n they_o shall_v answer_v for_o it_o and_o bear_v the_o punishment_n thereof_o if_o they_o do_v not_o take_v care_n to_o prevent_v it_o and_o the_o priest_n shall_v bear_v the_o punishment_n of_o all_o iniquity_n commit_v about_o their_o priest_n office_n if_o they_o do_v carry_v themselves_o amiss_o in_o it_o or_o suffer_v a_o stranger_n or_o levite_n to_o meddle_v therein_o he_o tell_v they_o he_o have_v join_v join_v join_v here_o be_v a_o allusion_n to_o levy_n name_v which_o signify_v join_v the_o levite_n to_o they_o to_o minister_v to_o they_o in_o the_o outward_a service_n of_o kill_v and_o slay_v the_o sacrifice_n etc._n etc._n but_o they_o themselves_o only_a shall_v serve_v at_o the_o altar_n and_o within_o the_o holy_a place_n before_o the_o ark_n of_o the_o testimony_n and_o the_o levite_n shall_v observe_v the_o precept_n and_o charge_v which_o he_o have_v give_v they_o concern_v their_o ministry_n and_o concern_v the_o sacred_a thing_n of_o the_o tabernacle_n which_o be_v commit_v to_o their_o care_n that_o so_o every_o one_o keep_v his_o station_n and_o do_v his_o duty_n there_o may_v be_v no_o wrath_n any_o more_o upon_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n only_o they_o shall_v not_o meddle_v with_o the_o service_n of_o the_o sanctuary_n and_o altar_n lest_o they_o die_v and_o if_o the_o priest_n do_v not_o endeavour_v to_o prevent_v any_o such_o error_n or_o miscarriage_n in_o their_o brethren_n the_o levite_n they_o shall_v also_o incur_v the_o like_a danger_n thus_o he_o appoint_v the_o levite_n to_o minister_v to_o the_o priest_n and_o order_n that_o he_o that_o be_v not_o of_o the_o tribe_n of_o levi_n shall_v not_o be_v admit_v to_o serve_v and_o minister_v unto_o they_o for_o god_n have_v take_v the_o levite_n instead_o of_o the_o first-born_a of_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n to_o himself_o he_o have_v give_v they_o unto_o aaron_n and_o his_o son_n for_o his_o own_o service_n and_o the_o service_n of_o the_o tabernacle_n therefore_o he_o and_o his_o son_n shall_v exercise_v their_o priest_n office_n in_o all_o thing_n that_o concern_v the_o altar_n of_o burnt-offering_n and_o in_o all_o thing_n which_o be_v to_o be_v do_v within_o the_o outward_a veil_n whereby_o the_o holy_a place_n be_v divide_v from_o the_o court_n the_o high_a priest_n in_o the_o most_o holy_a place_n and_o inferior_a priest_n within_o the_o sanctuary_n or_o holy_a place_n and_o god_n tell_v aaron_n and_o
