wisdom_n and_o grace_n and_o so_o the_o drift_n shall_v be_v a_o intend_a direction_n to_o or_o for_o such_o to_o seek_v true_a grace_n which_o they_o lack_v at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n by_o prayer_n but_o the_o coherence_n manifest_o show_v that_o he_o speak_v to_o such_o who_o he_o suppose_v to_o be_v already_o true_a believer_n for_o in_o the_o next_o word_n he_o exhort_v the_o same_o person_n who_o he_o speak_v to_o in_o these_o word_n to_o ask_v in_o faith_n and_o therefore_o suppose_v they_o to_o have_v true_a faith_n already_o who_o he_o direct_v this_o exhortation_n unto_o and_o otherwise_o it_o have_v be_v more_o proper_a yea_o requisite_a to_o have_v exhort_v they_o if_o he_o have_v intend_v it_o of_o unregenerate_a man_n first_o to_o seek_v faith_n itself_o and_o then_o out_o of_o faith_n and_o in_o that_o faith_n to_o seek_v for_o this_o wisdom_n or_o grace_n of_o endurance_n and_o again_o he_o speak_v to_o they_o that_o be_v brethren_n so_o he_o call_v they_o and_o in_o this_o passage_n say_v if_o any_o of_o you_o and_o such_o who_o be_v true_a professor_n of_o christianity_n be_v expose_v unto_o those_o sundry_a tentation_n from_o persecution_n especial_o and_o it_o be_v such_o also_o who_o he_o exhort_v to_o count_v it_o all_o joy_n etc._n etc._n and_o here_o to_o ask_v a_o wisdom_n of_o god_n whereby_o to_o be_v able_a to_o suffer_v for_o their_o holy_a profession_n furthermore_o this_o wisdom_n lie_v in_o patience_n have_v its_o perfect_a work_n in_o they_o it_o suppose_v the_o person_n such_o as_o have_v some_o work_n of_o patience_n and_o of_o other_o grace_n begin_v in_o they_o already_o and_o indeed_o to_o have_v exhort_v unregenerate_a man_n that_o be_v as_o yet_o utter_o destitute_a of_o all_o grace_n and_o so_o out_o of_o harm_n way_n as_o to_o any_o suffering_n for_o the_o gospel_n and_o to_o direct_v they_o to_o make_v this_o the_o first_o of_o their_o address_n to_o god_n and_o of_o their_o request_n that_o they_o may_v be_v able_a to_o endure_v tentation_n and_o that_o patience_n shall_v have_v a_o perfect_a work_n in_o they_o and_o so_o to_o have_v teach_v they_o that_o which_o be_v the_o hard_a lesson_n in_o christianity_n afore_o ere_o they_o have_v learn_v the_o first_o letter_n thereof_o this_o have_v be_v utter_o improper_a and_o a_o lesson_n at_o too_o great_a a_o distance_n for_o man_n in_o their_o natural_a state_n first_o to_o learn_v thus_o much_o for_o the_o person_n viz._n that_o he_o speak_v it_o unto_o man_n already_o
