to_o hear_v or_o my_o tongue_n to_o utter_v any_o frothy_a or_o corrupt_a communication_n to_o carry_v myself_o always_o with_o a_o become_a gravity_n in_o my_o behaviour_n to_o deport_v myself_o as_o in_o the_o immediate_a presence_n of_o god_n remember_v that_o he_o be_v a_o god_n of_o infinite_a purity_n and_o holiness_n i_o will_v be_v watchful_a over_o my_o own_o heart_n that_o i_o do_v not_o permit_v any_o unclean_a thought_n or_o fancy_n to_o enter_v within_o i_o much_o less_o give_v they_o entertainment_n and_o as_o soon_o as_o they_o offer_v themselves_o to_o my_o fancy_n i_o will_v endeavour_v to_o divert_v they_o by_o holy_a and_o heavenly_a meditation_n and_o last_o of_o all_o i_o will_v be_v frequent_a in_o my_o prayer_n to_o god_n for_o a_o clean_a heart_n and_o purity_n of_o spirit_n and_o for_o the_o grace_n of_o temperance_n and_o chastity_n when_o i_o fast_v likewise_o i_o find_v myself_o guilty_a of_o must_fw-mi deadness_n and_o dulness_n in_o my_o devotion_n vain_a and_o wander_a thought_n in_o they_o etc._n etc._n upon_o examination_n of_o myself_o i_o find_v the_o great_a cause_n of_o it_o to_o be_v the_o want_n of_o keep_v myself_o continual_o in_o a_o keep_v myself_o in_o a_o habitual_a frame_n and_o temper_n of_o piety_n to_o be_v more_o frequent_a in_o prayer_n and_o to_o praemeditate_v of_o the_o dread_n and_o awfulness_n of_o that_o majesty_n before_o who_o i_o appear_v to_o consider_v beforehand_o that_o nothing_o but_o what_o be_v hearty_a and_o from_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o soul_n will_v be_v accept_v by_o he_o and_o how_o great_a need_n i_o have_v of_o those_o thing_n i_o ask_v i_o will_v pray_v often_o for_o the_o spirit_n of_o devotion_n and_o sincerity_n and_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o watch_v over_o my_o thought_n when_o i_o be_o at_o my_o devotion_n but_o if_o any_o such_o enter_v i_o will_v present_o repel_v they_o and_o then_o pray_v with_o great_a fervency_n to_o cross_v the_o devil_n design_n therein_o these_o
