aforesaid_a not_o capital_a the_o eldership_n of_o every_o congregation_n shall_v judge_v the_o matter_n of_o scandal_n aforesaid_a be_v not_o capital_a upon_o the_o testimony_n of_o two_o credible_a witness_n at_o the_o least_o satisfaction_n shall_v be_v give_v to_o the_o eldership_n of_o every_o congregation_n by_o sufficient_a manifestation_n of_o the_o offender_n repentance_n before_o a_o person_n lawful_o convict_v of_o such_o matter_n of_o scandal_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o thereupon_o suspend_v from_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n be_v admit_v thereunto_o if_o any_o person_n suspend_v from_o the_o lord_n supper_n shall_v find_v himself_o grieve_v with_o the_o proceed_n before_o the_o eldership_n of_o any_o congregation_n he_o shall_v have_v liberty_n to_o appeal_v to_o the_o classical_a eldership_n and_o from_o thence_o to_o the_o provincial_n assembly_n from_o thence_o to_o the_o nationall_n and_o from_o thence_o to_o the_o parliament_n and_o be_v it_o further_o ordain_v by_o the_o lord_n and_o commons_o that_o the_o several_a and_o respective_a eldership_n in_o their_o several_a respective_a proceed_n shall_v observe_v these_o ensuing_n caution_n caution_n 1._o that_o cognizance_n and_o examination_n of_o any_o capital_a offence_n shall_v be_v by_o the_o magistrate_n thereunto_o appoint_v by_o the_o law_n of_o the_o kingdom_n who_o if_o he_o shall_v commit_v the_o party_n question_v to_o prison_n or_o secure_v he_o or_o she_o by_o bail_n he_o shall_v there_o of_o make_v a_o certificate_n unto_o the_o eldership_n of_o the_o
