thing_n which_o be_v not_o at_o his_o disposal_n but_o the_o will_n of_o man_n and_o so_o the_o affair_n which_o depend_v thereon_o be_v not_o with_o they_o at_o god_n disposal_n since_o by_o their_o principle_n he_o can_v sway_v their_o will_n effectual_o one_o way_n or_o other_o for_o this_o in_o their_o account_n be_v to_o destroy_v their_o natural_a liberty_n 2._o as_o to_o spiritual_a concern_v for_o the_o make_n of_o grace_n or_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n effectual_a for_o the_o promote_a of_o holiness_n for_o the_o growth_n or_o exercise_n of_o it_o or_o for_o perseverance_n in_o it_o there_o be_v no_o need_n to_o depend_v on_o god_n for_o it_o be_v not_o necessary_a to_o depend_v on_o another_o for_o that_o which_o be_v in_o his_o own_o power_n now_o these_o thing_n and_o the_o like_a be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o his_o own_o will_n he_o be_v the_o master_n of_o they_o if_o he_o will_v not_o be_v want_v to_o himself_o indeed_o it_o be_v more_o in_o their_o own_o power_n than_o in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n for_o every_o man_n will_n can_v determine_v itself_o to_o these_o thing_n but_o god_n can_v without_o destroy_v the_o will_n for_o if_o he_o determine_v it_o he_o leave_v it_o not_o indifferent_a and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o indifferent_a it_o be_v not_o free_a and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o free_a it_o be_v not_o a_o humane_a will_n and_o therefore_o they_o have_v for_o this_o be_v never_o withdraw_v unless_o they_o be_v contumacious_a and_o obstinate_o resist_v it_o but_o than_o it_o be_v in_o their_o power_n not_o to_o resist_v but_o comply_v with_o it_o and_o if_o they_o will_v not_o god_n can_v help_v it_o for_o when_o he_o have_v put_v forth_o all_o the_o operation_n of_o his_o grace_n upon_o the_o soul_n the_o will_n be_v at_o liberty_n and_o have_v power_n to_o do_v as_o it_o listen_v the_o power_n be_v most_o in_o man_n still_o and_o where_o the_o power_n be_v there_o must_v be_v the_o dependence_n upon_o themselves_o rather_o than_o 27._o 1_o cor._n 1._o 29_o 30._o but_o this_o doctrine_n oblige_v a_o believer_n to_o ascribe_v the_o difference_n which_o be_v betwixt_o he_o and_o other_o who_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o sin_n and_o misery_n not_o unto_o grace_n but_o to_o himself_o leave_v he_o no_o ground_n to_o imagine_v that_o it_o be_v grace_n which_o make_v the_o difference_n grace_n be_v with_o they_o indifferent_o god_n and_o their_o soul_n to_o live_v in_o any_o wickedness_n their_o inclination_n lead_v they_o to_o and_o not_o to_o break_v off_o a_o course_n of_o sin_n by_o speedy_a repentance_n for_o their_o pretend_a sufficient_a grace_n be_v universal_a and_o deny_v to_o none_o that_o bring_v repentance_n to_o every_o man_n power_n and_o choice_n he_o have_v grace_n enough_o to_o repent_v if_o he_o will._n and_o since_o it_o be_v in_o his_o own_o power_n he_o may_v take_v his_o own_o time_n for_o it_o and_o need_v not_o fear_v to_o satisfy_v himself_o with_o the_o pleasure_n or_o advantage_n give_v no_o power_n sufficient_a for_o performance_n and_o therefore_o if_o there_o be_v any_o performance_n it_o must_v be_v by_o the_o power_n of_o nature_n their_o grace_n give_v not_o the_o power_n but_o suppose_v it_o

which_o be_v sinful_a be_v to_o be_v punish_v not_o reward_v as_o such_o it_o have_v not_o a_o moral_a fitness_n for_o promise_a reward_n that_o which_o be_v sinful_a bring_v the_o performer_n under_o
