our_o follow_v hard_o after_o the_o mark_n 3._o by_o humility_n we_o shall_v be_v more_o fit_a for_o such_o communion_n with_o our_o bless_a god_n although_o it_o be_v not_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n as_o be_v needful_a before_o note_n to_o confirm_v we_o in_o the_o truth_n and_o difficulty_n of_o a_o conversion_n against_o these_o trouble_n &_o contradiction_n which_o may_v call_v in_o question_n the_o same_o yet_o now_o it_o shall_v be_v much_o more_o avayleable_a to_o further_o we_o to_o perfection_n decay_n 1._o as_o cast_v we_o more_o entire_o upon_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n above_o present_a feel_n either_o comfort_n themselves_o with_o former_a â—_o assurance_n or_o wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n in_o believe_v under_o hope_n above_o hope_n but_o the_o ground_n of_o this_o abase_v be_v a_o holy_a fear_n of_o ourselves_o lest_o either_o we_o may_v fall_v into_o such_o gross_a evil_n as_o may_v deprive_v we_o of_o former_a comfort_n or_o may_v be_v â—ainted_v with_o some_o spiritual_a wickedness_n of_o pride_n vainglory_n when_o we_o stand_v and_o abound_v in_o comfort_n that_o so_o rob_v god_n of_o his_o glory_n we_o may_v be_v strip_v of_o further_a comfort_n 3_o neither_o do_v this_o abase_v proceed_v from_o hypocrisy_n that_o so_o we_o may_v the_o rather_o be_v magnify_v of_o other_o although_o who_o shall_v hinder_v the_o light_n to_o break_v out_o yet_o see_v it_o be_v nothing_o to_o what_o they_o shall_v have_v therefore_o they_o still_o empty_a themselves_o of_o all_o confidence_n and_o conceit_n of_o sufficiency_n which_o the_o hypocrite_n flatter_v himself_o in_o that_o so_o still_o they_o may_v be_v prepare_v to_o receive_v further_a riches_n and_o to_o this_o end_n they_o be_v further_o convince_v with_o many_o want_n in_o the_o use_n of_o present_a grace_n and_o so_o be_v daily_o provoke_v to_o deny_v themselves_o that_o they_o may_v be_v find_v in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o in_o he_o grow_v to_o perfection_n yea_o they_o be_v further_o convince_v with_o the_o rebellion_n and_o continual_a opposition_n of_o the_o old_a man_n and_o so_o have_v cause_n to_o make_v themselves_o poor_a note_n consider_v what_o they_o have_v be_v yet_o consider_v what_o the_o least_o relic_n of_o corruption_n may_v do_v if_o the_o lord_n shall_v look_v upon_o we_o in_o judgement_n even_o to_o infatuate_a all_o present_a grace_n and_o deprive_v we_o of_o all_o hope_n of_o further_a measure_n this_o be_v the_o mean_n to_o make_v they_o abase_v themselves_o that_o so_o still_o they_o may_v fly_v into_o the_o bosom_n of_o god_n what_o be_v the_o practice_n of_o this_o heavenly_a wisdom_n sure_o the_o lord_n that_o ordain_v the_o end_n fit_v also_o the_o mean_n suitable_a thereunto_o and_o therefore_o the_o manner_n of_o this_o practice_n be_v holy_a and_o warrantable_a though_o they_o be_v say_v to_o make_v themselves_o poor_a yet_o this_o be_v not_o to_o exclude_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n by_o which_o only_o they_o
