nilus_n when_o he_o yearly_a overflow_v his_o bank_n but_o grace_n be_v like_o the_o rain_n from_o heaven_n which_o only_o fall_v where_o god_n do_v appoint_v 7._o who_o cause_v it_o to_o rain_v upon_o one_o city_n and_o not_o upon_o another_o and_o one_o piece_n be_v rain_v upon_o and_o the_o piece_n whereupon_o it_o rain_v not_o wither_v 3._o disclaim_v all_o merit_n and_o selfsufficiency_n for_o so_o much_o as_o we_o arrogate_v to_o our_o own_o merit_n so_o much_o as_o we_o derogate_v from_o the_o free_a grace_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n if_o with_o ephraim_n god_n have_v enlarge_v his_o fruit_n find_v oh_o consider_v 18._o that_o thou_o bear_v not_o the_o root_n but_o the_o root_n thou_o say_v not_o unto_o we_o o_o lord_n not_o unto_o we_o but_o unto_o thy_o name_n do_v we_o give_v the_o praise_n a_o gracious_a heart_n know_v his_o own_o inability_n and_o his_o own_o insufficiency_n and_o imperfection_n that_o he_o be_v unable_a to_o overcome_v the_o least_o sin_n though_o thou_o wait_v upon_o i_o â—ill_v i_o give_v thou_o deliverance_n 5._o be_v exhort_v to_o have_v recourse_n to_o jesus_n christ_n for_o supply_v of_o grace_n go_v to_o jesus_n and_o by_o the_o prayer_n purpose_n of_o give_v grace_n shall_v rather_o quicken_v and_o greaten_v than_o any_o way_n slacken_v our_o endeavour_n after_o grace_n see_v how_o the_o apostle_n make_v god_n work_v grace_n in_o we_o a_o ground_n why_o we_o shall_v work_v work_v out_o your_o own_o salvation_n with_o fear_n and_o tremble_a 13._o for_o it_o be_v god_n which_o work_v in_o you_o both_o to_o will_v and_o to_o do_v in_o the_o grace_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n union_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o communion_n compare_v and_o therefore_o we_o read_v first_o of_o receive_v christ_n and_o then_o afterward_o of_o receive_v of_o his_o fullness_n grace_n for_o grace_n though_o thou_o be_v near_o christ_n by_o profession_n yet_o if_o thou_o be_v not_o one_o with_o christ_n by_o faith_n thou_o can_v not_o receive_v any_o virtue_n from_o he_o if_o a_o man_n tie_v food_n to_o any_o part_n of_o his_o body_n it_o will_v not_o nourish_v he_o because_o it_o be_v not_o receive_v concoct_v or_o concorporate_v that_o only_o nourish_v which_o become_v one_o and_o the_o same_o substance_n with_o we_o so_o we_o receive_v strength_n and_o increase_n of_o grace_n from_o christ_n as_o we_o be_v unite_v unto_o he_o by_o faith_n take_v a_o graft_n and_o tie_v it_o to_o a_o tree_n and_o it_o bring_v forth_o no_o fruit_n but_o let_v it_o be_v unite_v unto_o a_o tree_n by_o implantation_n than_o the_o graft_n grow_v fruitful_a so_o without_o christ_n or_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o original_a separate_v from_o christ_n you_o can_v do_v nothing_o 5._o he_o that_o by_o faith_n be_v not_o plant_v together_o in_o the_o likeness_n of_o christ_n death_n shall_v never_o receive_v spiritual_a nourishment_n from_o he_o he_o that_o do_v not_o abide_v in_o christ_n be_v cast_v forth_o as_o a_o branch_n he_o be_v
