that_o observe_v a_o day_n observe_v it_o to_o the_o lord_n and_o he_o that_o observe_v not_o the_o day_n observe_v it_o not_o to_o the_o lord_n that_o he_o speak_v of_o rhe_n seven_o day-sabbath_n there_o be_v not_o a_o word_n of_o any_o such_o thing_n nor_o any_o sound_n of_o any_o such_o meaning_n that_o the_o apostle_n have_v and_o therefore_o it_o must_v be_v that_o he_o speak_v of_o observe_v a_o day_n for_o act_v common_a or_o indifferent_a thing_n and_o not_o in_o keep_v the_o sabbath_n or_o not_o keep_v of_o it_o and_o that_o for_o the_o avoid_n of_o these_o absurdity_n if_o the_o seven_o day-sabbath_n be_v abrogate_a and_o no_o other_o day_n of_o rest_n institute_v in_o its_o stead_n then_o there_o be_v one_o holy_a day_n less_o than_o god_n in_o the_o beginning_n institute_v and_o one_o work_v day_n more_o a_o very_a absurd_a thing_n for_o any_o so_o to_o affirm_v yea_o that_o which_o follow_v thereon_o be_v worse_o viz._n that_o god_n be_v less_o merciful_a to_o man_n and_o beast_n since_o our_o saviour_n suffer_v death_n than_o he_o be_v before_o in_o that_o before_o he_o suffer_v death_n he_o afford_v man_n and_o beast_n a_o day_n of_o rest_n to_o refresh_v their_o body_n after_o their_o wearisome_a and_o toilsome_a labour_n and_o since_o he_o come_v and_o suffer_v death_n he_o have_v not_o afford_v they_o any_o at_o all_o these_o thing_n suit_v not_o with_o god_n order_v providence_n therefore_o to_o say_v there_o be_v no_o day_n of_o rest_n be_v a_o error_n these_o man_n do_v also_o apprehend_v the_o seven_o day-sabbath_n figure_v out_o to_o we_o faith_n in_o christ_n hebr._n 4.3_o because_o the_o apostle_n say_v we_o which_o have_v believe_v do_v enter_v into_o rest_n from_o whence_o they_o conclude_v that_o when_o man_n believe_v they_o have_v that_o sanctification_n in_o christ_n of_o which_o the_o sabbath_n be_v a_o sign_n if_o it_o be_v grant_v or_o if_o it_o can_v be_v prove_v that_o the_o seven_o day-sabbath_n be_v a_o sign_n of_o our_o sanctification_n in_o christ_n it_o will_v not_o therefore_o follow_v that_o when_o man_n believe_v they_o be_v discharge_v from_o the_o duty_n of_o observe_v it_o unless_o it_o can_v be_v prove_v a_o ceremonial_a precept_n also_o the_o reason_n be_v because_o a_o sign_n proper_o or_o simple_o differ_v from_o a_o ceremony_n and_o that_o shall_v thus_o appear_v ceremonial_a sabbath_n speak_v of_o levit._n 23_o &_o col._n 2.16_o 17._o which_o god_n give_v to_o the_o isralite_n to_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o the_o lord_n sanctify_v they_o exod._n 31.13_o ezek._n the_o lord_n sanctify_v they_o be_v not_o therefore_o although_o these_o sabbath_n be_v abrogate_a it_o be_v no_o argument_n to_o prove_v the_o other_o be_v abrogate_a also_o second_o these_o man_n which_o will_v have_v no_o sabbath_n in_o that_o sense_n which_o the_o four_o commandment_n require_v namely_o to_o abstain_v from_o servile_a labour_n on_o the_o seven_o day_n do_v apprehend_v their_o cease_n from_o sin_n and_o grow_v in_o grace_n every_o day_n be_v the_o true_a keep_n of_o the_o christian_a sabbath_n and_o not_o cease_v from_o labour_n any_o one_o day_n if_o it_o can_v with_o conveniency_n be_v omit_v answ_n i_o do_v very_o well_o approve_v of_o a_o holy_a walk_v every_o day_n both_o for_o mortify_v of_o sin_n and_o growth_n in_o godliness_n and_o do_v hearty_o desire_v there_o may_v be_v a_o daily_a progress_n therein_o by_o we_o all_o but_o i_o must_v tell_v they_o as_o the_o truth_n be_v their_o holy_a devotion_n in_o the_o way_n they_o intend_v do_v not_o discharge_v they_o of_o any_o duty_n that_o god_n requirerh_n of_o they_o by_o his_o holy_a law_n the_o decalogue_n and_o willing_a i_o be_o that_o they_o shall_v know_v it_o to_o and_o therefore_o i_o desire_v to_o know_v of_o they_o whether_o god_n people_n before_o christ_n suffer_v death_n be_v not_o to_o walk_v holy_a every_o day_n as_o well_o as_o we_o if_o yea_o as_o doubtless_o they_o do_v but_o have_v they_o omit_v the_o duty_n of_o the_o seven_o day_n rest_n can_v they_o have_v be_v say_v to_o have_v walk_v holy_a every_o day_n oh_o no_o they_o can_v not_o even_o so_o it_o stand_v with_o man_n ever_o since_o our_o sautours_n death_n for_o the_o same_o law_n which_o bind_v the_o israelite_n to_o keep_v a_o holy_a rest_n on_o the_o seven_o day_n bind_v christian_n now_o as_o have_v be_v show_v pag._n 34._o 35._o therefore_o sure_o man_n do_v deceive_v themselves_o to_o think_v they_o walk_v holy_a every_o day_n when_o they_o do_v direct_o contrary_a
