public_o and_o private_o etc._n etc._n or_o through_o pay_v &_o a_o conceit_n of_o perfection_n to_o give_v they_o over_o we_o may_v certain_o conclude_v so_o long_o as_o they_o so_o continue_v they_o be_v hypocrite_n grace_n 1_o of_o grace_n 1._o true_a christian_n stand_v ever_o as_o true_o affect_v to_o the_o mean_n as_o to_o the_o end_n even_o there_o where_o the_o mean_n be_v not_o so_o grateful_a and_o please_a to_o flesh_n and_o blood_n the_o end_n if_o it_o be_v true_o desire_v do_v win_v grace_n &_o love_n to_o the_o mean_n so_o that_o they_o ever_o make_v conscience_n of_o sever_a those_o thing_n which_o god_n have_v couple_v together_o the_o mean_n from_o the_o end_n or_o the_o end_n from_o the_o mean_n end_n the_o wicked_a sever_v the_o mean_n from_o the_o end_n but_o we_o see_v the_o contrary_a daily_o practise_v by_o many_o who_o sever_a the_o mean_n from_o the_o end_n will_v hope_v for_o grace_n enough_o and_o salvation_n by_o christ_n and_o protection_n from_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n &_o yet_o rest_v in_o their_o profannesse_n and_o security_n neglect_v to_o use_v such_o mean_n as_o by_o which_o they_o may_v be_v cover_v by_o christ_n from_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n or_o it_o may_v be_v mean_n and_o end_n from_o the_o mean_n sever_a the_o end_n from_o the_o mean_n will_v persuade_v themselves_o all_o be_v in_o vain_a though_o they_o use_v the_o mean_n never_o so_o yet_o they_o can_v thereby_o be_v iustyfy_v there_o be_v no_o proportion_n between_o their_o pain_n and_o the_o reward_n expect_v and_o therefore_o they_o will_v do_v nothing_o at_o all_o then_o of_o their_o own_o they_o to_o their_o own_o eye_n which_o continual_o look_v homeward_o stand_v at_o a_o stay_n though_o indeed_o they_o both_o grow_v and_o go_v on_o &_o their_o growth_n be_v apparent_a to_o the_o spiritual_a eye_n be_v how_o this_o be_v and_o observation_n of_o other_o by_o the_o same_o reason_n that_o a_o man_n look_v wist_o and_o continual_o on_o the_o pointer_n of_o the_o dial_n or_o on_o the_o grass_n in_o the_o spring_n shall_v not_o perceive_v so_o well_o the_o motion_n of_o the_o one_o though_o it_o move_v nor_o the_o growth_n of_o the_o other_o though_o it_o sprout_v up_o as_o he_o shall_v do_v who_o after_o some_o distance_n of_o time_n look_v upon_o they_o he_o that_o ever_o have_v his_o child_n in_o his_o presence_n do_v not_o observe_v the_o daily_a growth_n of_o it_o or_o alter_v of_o the_o countenance_n so_o much_o as_o he_o who_o after_o many_o day_n or_o year_n shall_v behold_v it_o to_o who_o it_o will_v seem_v to_o be_v another_o man_n growth_n yet_o they_o show_v their_o growth_n then_o former_o it_o be_v even_o so_o be_v it_o in_o the_o grow_n of_o the_o new_a man_n and_o in_o the_o increase_n of_o grace_n yet_o the_o same_o man_n who_o most_o doubt_v of_o his_o own_o growth_n be_v sincere_a give_v evidence_n thereof_o and_o may_v gather_v it_o to_o himself_o for_o his_o comfort_n from_o his_o true_a desire_n and_o endeavour_v will_v overthrow_v or_o at_o least_o trouble_n and_o disturb_v that_o government_n but_o be_v as_o a_o new_a fountain_n and_o wellspring_n of_o goodness_n in_o he_o fruitful_a in_o all_o goodness_n though_o it_o have_v no_o enemy_n to_o molest_v it_o hereby_o then_o may_v we_o also_o judge_v of_o ourselves_o whether_o we_o have_v put_v on_o christ_n or_o no_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o sanctification_n if_o we_o not_o only_o resist_v and_o repel_v sin_n not_o suffer_v it_o to_o reign_v in_o we_o but_o also_o have_v our_o will_n and_o affection_n renew_v to_o a_o like_n of_o goodness_n and_o of_o the_o contrary_a grace_n to_o those_o sin_n which_o we_o will_v subdue_v for_o natural_a conscience_n may_v restrain_v sin_n in_o we_o and_o keep_v it_o from_o break_v out_o
