reprove_v the_o one_o and_o enable_v to_o perform_v the_o other_o and_o this_o i_o know_v that_o a_o measure_n of_o the_o same_o be_v place_v in_o the_o conscience_n of_o all_o mankind_n by_o which_o they_o may_v see_v the_o right_a way_n be_v but_o their_o mind_n turn_v thereunto_o therefore_o let_v none_o slight_a or_o undervalue_v this_o light_n of_o jesus_n manifest_a in_o their_o conscience_n they_o to_o follow_v a_o guide_n that_o will_v certain_o lead_v they_o amiss_o or_o leave_v they_o short_a of_o the_o place_n of_o rest_n and_o then_o will_v punish_v they_o for_o be_v misled_n or_o for_o sit_v down_o when_o they_o have_v no_o guide_n to_o show_v they_o the_o way_n to_o walk_v in_o and_o that_o from_o a_o purpose_n in_o himself_o to_o leave_v the_o great_a part_n of_o mankind_n without_o any_o other_o guide_n to_o direct_v they_o in_o matter_n of_o salvation_n but_o that_o that_o be_v insufficient_a that_o it_o must_v be_v a_o miracle_n if_o it_o show_v they_o the_o way_n to_o heaven_n according_a to_o their_o common_a answer_n when_o ask_v how_o those_o must_v be_v save_v who_o have_v not_o the_o scripture_n among_o they_o which_o these_o account_n the_o only_a rule_n to_o guide_n man_n why_o we_o leave_v they_o to_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n say_v they_o the_o lord_n may_v in_o a_o extraordinary_a manner_n bring_v some_o to_o heaven_n if_o he_o have_v any_o elect_n among_o they_o but_o whether_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v be_v save_v or_o not_o it_o be_v hard_a for_o we_o to_o determine_v thus_o they_o darken_v counsel_n by_o utter_v word_n without_o knowledge_n they_o say_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v free_a and_o yet_o they_o make_v it_o a_o monopoly_n so_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v free_a to_o all_o nor_o must_v all_o be_v sharer_n in_o it_o neither_o will_v they_o allow_v the_o lord_n himself_o to_o dispense_v it_o nor_o yet_o to_o inspire_v his_o servant_n to_o go_v forth_o and_o preach_v it_o but_o arrogate_v to_o themselves_o a_o kind_n of_o sacerdotal_a right_n to_o be_v dispensers_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o jesus_n christ_n because_o of_o some_o outward_a qualification_n acchieve_v by_o they_o as_o external_n part_v or_o humane_a learning_n although_o they_o never_o be_v call_v of_o god_n to_o the_o work_n of_o the_o ministry_n nor_o never_o have_v the_o word_n of_o reconciliation_n light_n appear_v which_o may_v at_o present_a show_v you_o trouble_v and_o minister_v condemnation_n to_o your_o soul_n for_o your_o evil_a deed_n place_v judgement_n on_o your_o head_n make_v you_o possess_v the_o punishment_n of_o your_o iniquity_n that_o be_v past_a so_o that_o instead_o of_o peace_n you_o may_v have_v great_a bitterness_n yet_o be_v persuade_v to_o dwell_v in_o the_o judgement_n 1._o wait_v patient_o upon_o god_n who_o draw_v near_o to_o you_o in_o the_o way_n hereof_o and_o i_o will_v assure_v you_o in_o this_o light_n you_o shall_v see_v more_o light_n and_o in_o it_o consolation_n and_o salvation_n shall_v be_v enjoy_v wherefore_o i_o now_o write_v unto_o you_o little_a child_n in_o the_o spiritual_a stature_n be_v myself_o one_o of_o that_o number_n by_o way_n of_o exhortation_n to_o cast_v away_o your_o idol_n &_o keep_v yourselves_o from_o they_o say_v unto_o they_o get_v you_o hence_o to_o the_o mole_n and_o to_o the_o bat_n 2.20_o friend_n you_o know_v what_o i_o mean_v by_o they_o turn_v in_o and_o i_o be_o sure_a the_o light_n will_v let_v you_o see_v they_o and_o the_o soon_o you_o part_v with_o they_o the_o soon_o will_v you_o lord_n in_o a_o perpetual_a covenant_n that_o shall_v never_o be_v break_v and_o here_o will_v your_o bow_n abide_v in_o strength_n wherewith_o you_o shall_v shoot_v at_o mystery_n babylon_n and_o see_v she_o fall_v down_o yea_o though_o her_o archer_n may_v shoot_v sore_o at_o you_o yet_o shall_v they_o not_o be_v able_a to_o hurt_v you_o for_o the_o lord_n the_o help_n of_o israel_n will_v be_v a_o shield_n before_o you_o and_o will_v turn_v back_o their_o arrow_n into_o their_o own_o quiver_n so_o shall_v they_o hang_v by_o their_o side_n and_o stick_v in_o their_o heart_n who_o privy_o intend_v to_o wound_v the_o innocent_a without_o cause_n yet_o it_o be_v very_o likely_a the_o wicked_a will_v be_v push_v at_o you_o and_o cast_v scandalous_a calumny_n upon_o you_o in_o which_o i_o can_v but_o tender_o sympathize_v with_o you_o have_v myself_o late_o pass_v those_o pike_n of_o the_o enemy_n renown_a be_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n the_o captain_n of_o my_o salvation_n which_o cause_v i_o to_o march_v through_o valiant_o and_o have_v also_o give_v i_o the_o victory_n so_o that_o though_o i_o speak_v not_o boast_o yet_o i_o can_v say_v the_o revile_n of_o the_o ungodly_a do_v not_o at_o all_o dis-spirit_n i_o for_o now_o i_o can_v take_v their_o reproach_n for_o christ_n sake_n and_o bind_v they_o as_o a_o ornament_n unto_o i_o to_o god_n be_v all_o the_o glory_n who_o have_v raise_v this_o spirit_n of_o courage_n and_o christian-fortitude_n in_o i_o and_o now_o have_v call_v i_o to_o call_v on_o other_o to_o wait_v upon_o he_o that_o they_o may_v be_v thus_o strengthen_v with_o may_v in_o their_o inward_a man_n by_o he_o therefore_o wait_v on_o the_o lord_n be_v of_o good_a courage_n and_o he_o shall_v strengthen_v your_o heart_n wait_v i_o say_v on_o the_o lord_n as_o say_v holy_a david_n psalm_n 27._o 14._o so_o shall_v one_o chase_v a_o thousand_o and_o two_o put_v ten_o thousand_o to_o flight_n friend_n read_v inward_o so_o you_o will_v understand_v i_o i_o do_v not_o mean_v that_o you_o shall_v avenge_v yourselves_o on_o any_o with_o carnal_a weapon_n of_o war_n no_o no_o but_o as_o you_o stand_v and_o wait_v in_o the_o light_n of_o the_o lord_n though_o you_o can_v handle_v neither_o sword_n nor_o spear_n he_o will_v make_v you_o show_v comely_a as_o tirzah_n and_o terrible_a to_o the_o wicked_a even_o as_o a_o army_n with_o banner_n for_o though_o the_o remnant_n of_o the_o just_a as_o to_o outward_a defence_n be_v leave_v this_o day_n like_o a_o city_n without_o gate_n or_o wall_n who_o the_o wicked_a will_v be_v plot_v against_o yet_o god_n will_v laugh_v at_o he_o for_o he_o see_v that_o his_o day_n be_v come_v 13._o and_o have_v also_o give_v i_o this_o confidence_n of_o hope_n in_o he_o to_o wit_n that_o he_o will_v not_o give_v his_o people_n into_o the_o hand_n of_o cruel_a lord_n nor_o suffer_v man_n of_o fierce_a countenance_n to_o rule_v over_o they_o but_o they_o shall_v be_v as_o standard_n in_o the_o gap_n and_o stake_n in_o the_o hedge_n though_o some_o may_v be_v but_o of_o tender_a growth_n to_o stop_v the_o enemy_n from_o lay_v waste_v our_o country_n and_o to_o stay_v the_o lord_n sore_a and_o terrible_a stroke_n ah_o friend_n be_v it_o not_o pity_n that_o sin_n shall_v make_v a_o aceldama_n of_o our_o nation_n and_o this_o city_n see_v therefore_o you_o mind_v your_o inward_a reprover_n that_o you_o may_v be_v no_o cause_n in_o procure_v the_o nation_n be_v misery_n you_o child_n of_o the_o light_n arise_v therefore_o and_o shine_v for_o your_o light_n be_v come_v which_o will_v adorn_v your_o conversation_n let_v it_o now_o appear_v throughout_o your_o whole_a behaviour_n so_o shall_v your_o word_n and_o action_n glorify_v your_o heavenly_a father_n thus_o shall_v the_o wicked_a see_v our_o rock_n have_v not_o sell_v we_o for_o strong_a be_v he_o that_o be_v in_o we_o than_o they_o that_o be_v against_o we_o so_o though_o they_o may_v outward_o beset_v we_o yet_o we_o have_v a_o rock_n to_o shelter_v we_o where_o the_o enemy_n shall_v despair_v forever_o of_o come_v at_o we_o wherefore_o faint_v not_o in_o your_o mind_n nor_o be_v discourage_v in_o your_o spirit_n at_o the_o tiding_n which_o you_o hear_v abroad_o but_o dwell_v within_o your_o tent_n and_o serve_v the_o lord_n with_o fear_n everyone_o in_o your_o sphere_n so_o shall_v you_o shine_v like_o star_n in_o their_o proper_a orb_n yea_o though_o some_o of_o we_o may_v be_v but_o of_o small_a magnitude_n as_o in_o the_o natural_a firmament_n one_o star_n differ_v from_o another_o star_n in_o glory_n yet_o as_o we_o abide_v in_o the_o fear_n be_v clothe_v with_o humility_n so_o shall_v we_o be_v preserve_v in_o our_o spiritual_a station_n while_o we_o be_v as_o stranger_n and_o pilgrim_n on_o the_o earth_n to_o have_v our_o conversation_n honest_a and_o as_o much_o as_o in_o we_o lie_v inoffensive_a among_o they_o that_o be_v without_o 12._o that_o whereas_o they_o speak_v against_o we_o as_o evil-doer_n they_o may_v by_o the_o good_a work_n which_o they_o shall_v behold_v in_o we_o glorify_v god_n in_o the_o day_n of_o their_o visitation_n so_o shall_v we_o convince_v the_o world_n of_o that_o principle_n of_o light_n and_o grace_n that_o shine_v in_o their_o heart_n which_o if_o they_o turn_v into_o it_o and_o obey_v it_o it_o will_v teach_v and_o enable_v they_o 12._o that_o deny_v ungodliness_n and_o worldly_a lust_n they_o shall_v live_v righteous_o sober_o and_o godly_o in_o this_o present_a world_n and_o by_o this_o grace_n shall_v we_o be_v to_o those_o about_o we_o as_o saviour_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n upon_o mount_n zion_n as_o other_o have_v be_v to_o we_o when_o we_o be_v in_o spiritual_a babylon_n thus_o we_o be_v as_o a_o city_n
