obedience_n to_o the_o law_n than_o justification_n will_v not_o be_v of_o gospel-grace_n which_o be_v pardon_n but_o if_o by_o work_v you_o will_v understand_v work_n proper_o meritorious_a of_o salvation_n then_o if_o of_o work_n not_o of_o grace_n at_o all_o and_o in_o some_o place_n the_o apostle_n seem_v to_o take_v the_o word_n in_o one_o sense_n sometime_o in_o the_o other_o for_o as_o great_a desert_n you_o may_v easy_o guess_v what_o the_o thing_n be_v they_o place_v merit_n in_o if_o you_o consider_v that_o few_o man_n use_v to_o place_n merit_n in_o the_o fear_n and_o love_n of_o god_n or_o sincere_a desire_n and_o universal_a endeavour_n to_o obey_v he_o but_o in_o some_o external_a observance_n void_a of_o internal_a and_o ordinary_o chief_o in_o such_o thing_n as_o either_o be_v no_o duty_n as_o popish_a austerity_n or_o in_o such_o thing_n as_o they_o account_v no_o duty_n as_o give_v alm_n and_o so_o think_v they_o thereby_o supererogate_v do_v so_o much_o not-required_n as_o will_v recompense_v their_o neglect_n of_o god_n and_o inward_a holiness_n they_o may_v and_o it_o be_v probable_a do_v plead_v thus_o against_o the_o gentile_n be_v save_v first_o you_o do_v walk_v in_o that_o inward_a holiness_n that_o such_o thing_n as_o circumcision_n oblige_v you_o to_o but_o if_o thou_o live_v wicked_o thou_o be_v no_o more_o a_o true_o worthy_a person_n
