that_o have_v shall_v be_v give_v also_o psalm_n 144._o the_o lord_n be_v nigh_o to_o all_o they_o that_o call_v upon_o he_o in_o verity_n again_o how_o much_o more_o will_v your_o heavenly_a father_n give_v his_o holy_a spirit_n to_o they_o that_o ask_v he_o again_o esai_n 66._o to_o who_o shall_v i_o have_v respect_n but_o to_o the_o contrite_a in_o spirit_n and_o that_o tremble_v at_o my_o word_n the_o other_o part_n be_v secure_a without_o the_o exercise_n of_o repentance_n rnd_v invocation_n besot_v with_o pleasure_n or_o admiration_n and_o confidence_n of_o their_o own_o wisdom_n and_o justice_n as_o saul_n achitophel_n absalon_n and_o infinite_a other_o these_o be_v overcome_v of_o satan_n for_o that_o they_o want_v the_o fear_n of_o god_n they_o know_v not_o their_o own_o infirmity_n they_o be_v without_o remorse_n and_o do_v not_o desire_v help_n from_o god_n in_o this_o place_n philip_n first_o propound_v the_o question_n of_o such_o as_o be_v so_o tempt_v in_o the_o church_n that_o they_o fall_v into_o sin_n as_o many_o do_v among_o the_o corinthian_n therefore_o here_o be_v no_o mention_n but_o of_o they_o who_o do_v fall_v into_o sin_n these_o he_o do_v divide_v into_o two_o part_n and_o in_o the_o second_o sort_n he_o say_v be_v such_o as_o do_v sin_n in_o security_n without_o the_o exercise_n of_o repentance_n and_o here_o he_o only_o cit_v and_o remember_v such_o as_o we_o know_v be_v reprobate_n saul_n achitophel_n absalon_n who_o he_o also_o say_v be_v overcome_v of_o the_o devil_n therefore_o it_o be_v apparent_a that_o the_o elect_n be_v reprobate_n of_o the_o former_a rank_n that_o be_v of_o the_o elect_n he_o teach_v this_o to_o be_v the_o property_n and_o that_o in_o perpetuity_n that_o although_o it_o be_v weak_a and_o of_o frailty_n do_v fall_v into_o sin_n yet_o do_v it_o retain_v the_o exercise_n of_o repentance_n and_o invocation_n the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o faith_n according_a to_o that_o say_n to_o he_o that_o have_v shall_v be_v give_v who_o do_v not_o see_v here_o that_o d._n philip_n be_v of_o this_o determination_n the_o elect_n although_o by_o frailty_n they_o sell_v into_o some_o sin_n yet_o always_o to_o retain_v faith_n and_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o why_o for_o that_o as_o he_o have_v teach_v before_o the_o elect_n among_o which_o be_v david_n be_v not_o tempt_v but_o with_o temptation_n after_o the_o manner_n of_o man_n now_o humane_a temptation_n for_o that_o it_o be_v without_o contempt_n of_o the_o word_n do_v retain_v the_o word_n and_o therefore_o faith_n for_o humane_a temptation_n as_o philip_n define_v it_o be_v doubtfulness_n or_o error_n or_o a_o fall_n arise_v of_o human_a infirmity_n and_o not_o with_o such_o a_o confirm_a outrage_n that_o the_o mind_n be_v become_v epicureall_a or_o that_o there_o be_v a_o access_n of_o persecute_v the_o know_a truth_n or_o hatred_n of_o god_n as_o be_v the_o fall_n of_o david_n of_o who_o he_o say_v express_o thus_o do_v not_o abide_v in_o christ_n who_o although_o he_o glory_n of_o christ_n and_o do_v seem_v to_o acknowledge_v he_o yet_o he_o put_v confidence_n in_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o work_n of_o which_o sort_n be_v
