XIX THe pleasant heavēs that are ab● Gods glorie do declare The firmament doth also shew his handie work most rare verse 2 Day unto day through all the earth still u●treth speach aright And al 's the knowledge of the same night sheweth unto night verse 3 Among men there no language is nor any kinde of speach Wherein a most clear way their voice is not well heard to teach verse 4 Their line throgh all the earth is gone and al 's their words do run Unto the worlds end he in them a tent set for the Sun verse 5 Which as a bridgrome is that comes out from his chambers place And as a strong man doth rejoice most swift to run a race verse 6 From heav'ns end is his going forth his circuit al 's made meet Unto its end is and nothing can be hid from his heat verse 7 The law of God is most perfect converting Soules alwayes Gods testimony is right sure it makes the simple wise verse 8 The statutes of the Lord are rig●● rejoicing heart and minde The Lords commandment is most 〈◊〉 inlightning eves most blind verse 9 The fear of God the Lord is clea● enduring fast for ever The judgements of the Lord are 〈◊〉 and righteous altogether verse 10 They more to be desired are then gold yea much fine gold Then hony and the hony combe I sweeter do them hold verse 11 Moreover thy servant by them is warn'd to have regard And in the keeping of the same there is a great reward verse 12 Who among men can understan● what have his errours beene From my most vile and secret fault● in mercy make me cleane verse 13 Keep me so that presumptuous sins reigne not now over me Then upright I and innocent from the great sin shall be verse 14 The words al of my mouth thoghts that are within mine heart Accept O Lord who both my strength and my redeemer art PSAL. LVIII O Congregation do ye still speak righteousnesse indeed O sons of men do ye to judge still uprightly proceed verse 2 Yea in your heart great wickednesse you work in every way And of your hands here in the earth the violence you weigh verse 3 The wicked are ev'n from the womb estrang'd before our eyes They go astray assoone as they be born still speaking lyes verse 4 Most like a serpents poison is the poison that they bear They are even like the adder deaf that stoppeth fast his ear verse 5 Which to the voice of charmers not hearken readilie Though never so wisely they appear in charming for to be verse 6 Break thou O God now in th● mo● their teeth both sharp and stron● O Lord the great teeth now break ● of Lions that are yong verse 7 As waters run continuallie so let them melt and fall When as he bends his bow to shoo● cut them in pieces small verse 8 As melts a snail let ev'ry one of them consumed be Like the untimely birth that they the sun may never see verse 9 Before your pots can feel the tho● he shall them all by death As with a whirle wind take away both living and in wrath verse 10 The righteous shal rejoice when thus sees the vengeance meet He in the blood of wicked men shall surely wash his feet verse 11 So verilie a man shall say the just rewarded be Yea verily who in the earth doth judge a God is he PSAL. LIX ME from mine enmies O my God deliver by good will Defend me safely from them that rise up against me still verse 2 From workers of iniquitie deliver me I crave And also by thy mighty arme from bloody men me save verse 3 For lo they for my soul do wait the mighty gathred be Against me Lord not for my fault or any sin in me verse 4 They run and al 's prepare themselves without my fault most bold Awake in time me for to help and also to behold verse 5 LORD GOD of hosts thou Isra'ls awake to visit still The heathen be not mercifull unto transgressours ill verse 6 They at the evening time return they make a noise and sound Most like a dog and thus they goe about the citie round verse 7 Behold they with their filthy m● belch out without all feare Sharpe swords are also in their lip● for who say they doth heare ● verse 8 But thou O LORD shalt surely ● at them both great and small Thou also in derision shalt have still the heathen all verse 9 Because of his great power stre● I with great confidence Will wait upon thee ever still for GOD is my defence verse 10 Of my mercy the GOD me shall prevent as I require GOD shall upon mine enmies all let me see my desire verse 11 Not slay them lest my folk forget them who refuse to yeeld By thy might scatter and bring down O LORD our only shield verse 12 For the sin of their vile mouth and words of their lips not meek Let them be taken in their pride who cursing lying speak verse 14 In wrath consume them them consume that they no more may be That God in Jacob rules unto the earths ends let them see

LXVI YEE lands all thankfully to GOD a joyfull noise now raise verse 2 Sing foorth the honour of his Name and glorious make his praise verse 3 Say unto GOD how terrible art thou in works most great Throgh thy great power shal all thy foes themselves to thee submit verse 4 Heer all the earths inhabitants shall worship to thee bring And to thee shall sing joyfully they to thy Name shall sing verse 5 Come and see of the mightie GOD the works done now and then He in his doing terrible is to the sons of men verse 6 Into dry land he turn'd the sea they who were then his choise On foot went through the flood we did there in him rejoice verse 7 He by his power for ever rules his eyes the nations see Let not those that rebellious are exalt themselves to hie verse 8 O blesse our God most heartilie ye people by him spar'd And of his praise make gloriouslie the voice for to be heard verse 9 Which holdeth by his might our so● in life as we may see And suffreth not our feet at all once moved for to be verse 10 For thou O GOD most neerly ha● us prov'd at thy desire Thou hast in all things tryed us as silver 's tryde by fire verse 11 Into the trapping net thou us didst bring even as a prey And thou affliction of great weight upon our loins didst lay verse 12 Men thou hast causd ride ov'r o● head● we went with great disgrace Throgh fire and water but thou broug●● us to a wealthy place verse 13 I will now go into thine house with burnt offerings alway I will most chearfully my vows at this time to thee pay verse 14 Which my lips in my great distresse have utt'red thee before And which my mouth hath spoken al 's when I was troubled sore verse 15 Of fatlings sacrifices burnt I offer will to thee With th'incense of rams bullocks goats shall offred be by me verse 16 Now come all ye that fear the Lord to hear your hearts prepare And what he hath done for my soul I will to you declare verse 17 Most fervently still unto him I with my mouth did cry And he also was with my tongue extolled by and by verse 18 If I a man profane in heart regard iniquitie God when my prayer I powre out will not give ear to me verse 19 But God in mercy verily hath heard me by and by He of my prayer attended hath unto the voice and cry verse 20 O blest be God which hath not tur● my prayer now away Nor yet his mercy wonderfull from me in any way PSAL. LXVII GOD unto us be mercifull and blesse us with his grace And cause alwayes to shine on us his bright and glorious face verse 2 That thy good way upon the earth to all men may be known And al 's among the nations all thy saving health be shown verse 3 Thee let the people praise O GOD let them all praise thee so verse 4 O let the Nations still be glad and sing for joy also For thou the people righteously shalt judge by thy good will And all the Nations on the earth shalt govern wisely still verse 5 O God thee let the people praise thee praise ev'n let them all verse 6 Then shal the earth her increase yeeld and our God blesse us shall verse 7 God in his mercy surely shall us blesse both far and neere And al 's the ends of all the earth with reverence shall him fear PSAL. LXVIII LEt God arise his enmies all let them now scatt'red be Let them also that do him hate with fear before him flee verse 2 As smoak is driv'n drive them away as wax doth melt with fire Let wicked men at Gods presence so perish in his ire verse 3 But let the righteous men be glad let them rejoice greatlie Before the LORD yea let them all rejoice exceedinglie verse 4 Sing unto God praise ye his name extoll him with your voice That rides on heav'n by his Na● JA● before him still rejoice verse 5 A Father of the fatherlesse and of the

LXXIII GOD truely unto Israel is good as may be seen Even to all such as upright are and of a heart that 's clean verse 2 But as for me in my great grief my feet in ev'rie way Were almost gone my steps also had well nigh slipt away verse 3 For envious at foolish men I was most foolishlie When of the wicked still I saw the great prosperitie verse 4 For in their death there are no ba● as others feel infirm But in their health and wealth also their strength is ever firm verse 5 They are not as all other men in trouble as we see Nor yet like other men also on earth they plagued be verse 6 Therefore vain pride even as a chi●● doth compasse them about Even as a garment violence doth cover them throughout verse 7 Their eyes always with fatnes swol● stand out yea more then this They have more wealth among their hands than any heart could wish verse 8 They altogether are corrupt and speak most wickedly Concerning their oppression great they proud speak loftily verse 9 Against the heav'ns most proudly they do set their mouth and talk Their tongue reviling throgh the earth continually doth walk verse 10 Therefore soon hither do return the people round about And of a full cup waters great unto them are wrung out verse 11 And thus they say how doth at all GOD know the things that be And is there any knowledge now in him who is most hie verse 12 Behold those the ungodly are and prosper at their will Heer in the world alwayes they do increase in riches still verse 13 I verilie did say my heart I cleansed have in vain And in mine innocencie al 's have wash'd my hands with pai● verse 14 For all the day long have I been still plagued more and more And every morning early I have al 's been chastned sore verse 15 If I say I will surely thus speak as I did intend Thy childrens generation just behold I should offend verse 16 When I this thought to know the● too painfull was for me verse 17 Till to GODS Sanctuary I went then I their end did see verse 18 In slipperie places surely thou didst set them all at last Thou them into destruction all down shamefully didst cast verse 19 How into desolation they as in a moment be Thus brought They all with terrours are consumed utterlie verse 20 As a vain dream when one awakes even so O LORD likewise When thou awak'st most surely thou their image shalt despise verse 21 Thus was my heart griev'd I was in my reines pricked sore verse 22 So foolish I and ignorant a beast was thee before verse 23 Neverthelesse continually I alwayes am with thee By my right hand thou surely hast most safely holden me verse 24 Thou shalt me with thy coūsel wise still guide as I do crave And afterward to glory thou me surely shalt receive verse 25 Whom in distresse have I in heav'n but thee whom I require Besides thee also there is none on earth that I desire verse 26 My flesh and heart fail me but God who failes me neve● The strength is of my heart and ● my portion ev'n for ever verse 27 For lo they that are far from shall perish so and so Thou hast all them destroyed tha● from thee a whoring go verse 28 But for me to draw neer to G●● it 's good ev'n evry where I trusted have in God that I may all thy works declare PSAL. LXXIV O God why hast thou us for ● cast off in danger deep why doth thine anger smoak agai● ev'n thine own pasture sheep verse 2 Thy congregation dear to thee in good remembrance hold Which thou ev'n in thy mercie g● hast purchased of old The rod of thine inheritance which thou redeemed hast This Mount Sion wherein alwayes thou dwelt m time bypast To desolations lasting still lift up thy feet anone ●'n all that in the Sanctuarie the enemie still hath done Amidst thy congregations all thy enmies still do roar They also do set up for signes their ensignes in great store A man was famous and renown'd in their societies ●ccording as the axes he did lift on the thick trees But with sharp axes and also strong hammers which they take ●e carved work thereof at once in furie down they break They fire into thy Sanctuary have cast by casting down ●hey have defil'd the dwelling place of thy Name to the ground verse 8 They said in heart Let us destro● together all their band GODS synagogues they have burnt that are in all the land verse 9 Our signes we see not no more a Prophet us among Nor yet among us any is that knoweth well how long verse 10 How long Lord shall th'advers● thus us reproach with shame Shall th' enmie fierce for ever thus blaspheme thy holy Name verse 11 Why
verse 11 To all the beasts even of the field they drink give as they list The asses wilde among their streames do gladly quench their thirst verse 12 By them shal all the fowls of heav'n take pleasure for to dwell ●hich on green branches blooming fair in sweetest songs excell He wattreth frō his chambers high the hills aboundantlie ●he earth with the fruit of thy works is satisfi'd by thee verse 14 For cattell he makes grasse to grow and herb exceeding good ●or mans service that from the earth he may bring foorth his food verse 15 And wine that makes mans heart be glad and oil in every part To make his face to shine and bread which strengthneth a mans heart verse 16 The pleasant trees of God the Lord even full of sap do stand Of Lebanon the Cedars which he planted with his hand verse 17 Where make their nests wherein to sit the birds melodious As for the Stork the fire trees are appointed for her house verse 18 For the wild Goats the higest hil● are a most sure refuge ●es●g● The ragged rocks ordained are the Conies for to lodge verse 19 For seasons he appointeth still the Moon likewise the Sun Swift in his course still knoweth well each day his going down verse 20 Thou makest darknes by thy might and it is night indeed Wherein beasts of the forrest all creep foorth then for to feed verse 21 The Lions young run heer and there and roar to get their prey And from the GOD that formed them their meat seek evry day verse 22 The Sun ariseth they themselves together gather then And lay them down most quietly in their retired den verse 23 Man goeth foorth then chearfully unto his work with speed And to his labour carefully untill the evening tide verse 24 How manifold Lord are thy works in wisdome wonderfull Thou madst them all the earth always is of thy riches full verse 25 So is this sea that 's great and wide wherein things creeping all Innumerable are ev'n beasts that are both great and small verse 26 There also go with speedie course the Ships swift in their way There is that Leviathan whom thou madst therein to play verse 27 All those things wel do wait on thee that as thou thinkest meet Thou mayest still in season due give unto them their meat verse 28 That which thou givest unto them they gather for their food Thy hand thou op'nest chearfully and they are fill'd with good verse 29 Thy face thou hidest then they are all troubled and do mourne Thou tak'st away their breath they die and to their dust returne verse 30 Thou sendest forth thy sprit they art created by thy breath And thou by thy great might renewe the face of all the earth verse 31 The glory of the LORD our GOD endure shall fast for ever The Lord God also shall rejoice in his great works of wonder verse 32 The earth below doth tremble all when he on it doth look The hils he toucheth that are high and they together smoak verse 33 I to the Lord ev'n while I live will sing as he doth crave I will sing praise unto my GOD while I my being have verse 34 My meditation of him shall be most sweet unto me Yea in the LORD that me sustaines I ever glad will be verse 35 Consume thou sinners frō the earth let wicked be no more Blesse now the Lord O thou my soul praise ye the LORD therefore PSAL. CX THe Lord did say unto my Lord sit thou at my right hand Untill thy foes thy footstool I make whereon thou may stand verse 2 The Lord the rod of all thy strengt● shall out of Zion send In midst ev'n of thine enmies all rule thou untill the end verse 3 Thy people whom thou chosen 〈◊〉 sure shall most willing be Even in the most desired day that power great comes from thee 〈◊〉 beauties of great Holinesse with a most pleasant shew ●●om the fair mornings wōb thou hast even of thy youth the dew The Lord most solemnly hath sworn and will repent him never ●f th' order of Melchizedek thou art a Priest for ever The Lord at thy right hand alwayes to help thee in all things ●hall in the day of his great wrath strike through the mighty Kings The heathen he shall judge and fill the place with bodies dead ●e over many countries shall most fiercely wound the head He shall victorious in the way drink of the brook indeed ●herefore he shall in great triumph lift highly up the head PSALME CXI PRaise ye the Lord I with my heart now praise him surely shall In th' Assembly of the upright and congregation all verse 2 The works of the Almighty LORD are great as we perceive Sought out of all them carefully that therein pleasure have verse 3 Right hon'rable his great work is and glorious al 's most sure And his most perfect righteousnesse for ever doth endure

CXII PRaise ye the Lord blest is the man that fears the LORD aright That in his wise commandments all still greatly doth delight verse 2 His seed shall mighty be upon the earth assuredlie The uprights generation shall for ever blessed be verse 3 Great wealth and riches ever fast shall in his house be sure And his most perfect righteousnesse for ever doth endure verse 4 To the upright ariseth light in darknesse speedilie Most gracious of compassion full and righteous al 's is he verse 5 A good man sheweth favour still and willingly doth lend He with discretion his affaires will guide ev'n to the end verse 6 He surely not for ever shall be mov'd so fix'd is he The righteous in remembrance sure shall everlasting be verse 7 He shall not be afraid of what ill tidings can afford His heart is ever fixed fast still trusting in the Lord. verse 8 His heart always estabish'd is he not afraid shall be Untill upon his enmies all his full desire he see verse 9 He hath dispersd and given to poor his righteousnesse for ay Endures his horn with honour shall exalted be alway verse 10 The wicked grieved shall it see his teeth he gnashing all Shall melt away and the desire of ill men perish shall PSAL. CXIII PRaise ye the Lord O of the Lord ye servants now proclame His worthy praise of God the Lord praise the most holy Name verse 2 Now of the LORD most blessed be the Name which we adore From this time forth from age to age and al 's for evermore verse 3 From the first rising of the Sun unto his going down The LORDS Name to be honour'd is with praise and great renown verse 4 The LORD above all nations is most high in Majestie And likewise is his glory great above the heavens hie verse 5 Who is now like unto the LORD our God who doth excell Who on high in the highest heav'n with Majestie doth dwell verse 6 Who though most high yet he himse●● still humbleth in his love Things to behold that are on earth and in the heav'ns above verse 7 Out of the dust he raiseth up the poor in miserie And out of the dung hill also the needie lifteth hie verse 8 That he him up in dignitie with Princes high may set With those that of his people all are ev'n the Princes great He doth the barren woman make to keep house and to be A mother glade of children dear the mighty LORD praise yee PSAL. CXV LOrd not to us not unto us but unto thy name take Great glory for thy stedfast truth and for thy mercies sake verse 2 Wherefore should new the heath 〈◊〉 where is their God alone But our God's in the heav'ns he hath what ever he pleased done Their idols silver are and gold workes of mens hands they be They have mouths made but can not speak and eyes but they not see Of ears they have the shape but they hear not what men do tell They noses formed also have but there with cannot smell They hands have but they handle not and feet but cannot walk A throat they have but throgh it they can no way speak or talk To those vain things they are most like that in their wayes unjust Them make ev'n so is every one that into them doth trust verse 9 Trust thou O Israel in the Lord their help and shield that be verse 10 Trust in the Lord O A'rons house their help and shield is he verse 11 Ye that do fear the living Lord trust in the Lord alway He is their strong help and their shield that still upon him stay verse 12 The Lord of us hath mindfull been he sure will blesse us still He will blesse Israls house the house of Aaron blesse he will verse 13 He wil them blesse that fear the Lord and that both great and small verse 14 God shal increase you more more you and your children all verse 15 You all that have an upright heart are blessed of the Lord Which both the heav'n al 's the earth made by his mighty word verse 16 The heav'n ye ev'n the heav'ns above are all the Lords by right But to the sons of men he hath the earth giv'n by his might verse 17 The dead in grave can in no way praise give the Lord unto Nor any whatsoever that down into 〈◊〉 go But we the mighty Lord above will blesse with one accord ●om this time forth for evermore most gladly praise the Lord. PSAL. CXVI Love the Lord and that because he with attentive ear ●y voice and supplications al 's most willingly did hear Because he hath inclin'd his ear unto me troubled all ●erefore as long as heer I live I will upon him call Of death the sorrows compassd me and paines of hell got hold ●oon time I found troubles great and sorrows manifold Upon the name of GOD the LORD then did I call and say LORD my soul
like a potters vessell shalt in pieces dash them all verse 10 Now therefore O ye mighty kings be wise in what ye do And ye the judges of the earth instructed be also verse 11 Serve ye now with a Sonly fear the LORD your only choise With trembling also reverently at his service rejoice verse 12 Kisse ye the Son lest he with you be angry still alway And when his wrath but kindled is ye perish from the way Most blessed ever are all they that in their grief and smart Do constantly on him rely and trust with all their heart PSAL. III. LOrd how are they increased thus that that sore do trouble me They who against me now rise up in number many be verse 2 There many be who in disdain thus of my soul do say For him in the almighty GOD there is no help alway verse 3 But thou O LORD most mighty art a shield for me indeed My glory and in troubles great the lifter of mine head verse 4 Unto the LORD I with my voice in prayer cryed still And he me heard then by and by out of his holie hill verse 5 With confidence I laid me down and slept most quietlie I al 's awaked for the LORD alwayes sustained me verse 6 I surely will not be afraid of thousands ten most stout Of people that have set themselves against me round about verse 7 A rise O LORD save me my GOD for thou my foes didst smite On the check bone th'ungodlies teeth thou brok'st in pieces quite verse 3 Salvation Surely doth unto the Lord belong alone Thy blessing also plentifull thy people is upon PSAL. O Thou GOD of my righteousnesse when I do call give ear Inlarg'd thou hast me from distresse my prayer in mercy hear verse 2 O sons of men How long will ye my glory turn to shame How long will ye love vanitie and leesing seek to frame verse 3 But know that for himself the Lord th'ungodly one and all Hath set apart the LORD will hear when I unto him call verse 4 Stand now in aw and sin no more and common ye with skill With your own heart upon your bed and be ye alwayes still verse 5 The sacrifice of righteousnesse now offer which is just And in the great and mighty Lord put ye alwayes your trust verse 6 Who will to us shew any good there many be that say LORD of thy countenance the light lift up on us alway verse 7 Thou surely gladnesse in my heart hast put by thy good will More then in times their corns wine increased alwayes still verse 8 I will both lay me down in peace and sleep exceeding well For thou LORD only dost me make in safety for to dwell PSAL. V. GIve ear unto my words O Lord my meditation weigh verse 2 Hear thou my cry my King my God for I to thee will pray verse 3 Thou in the morning shalt my voice Lord heare by thy goodwill At morning to thee will I pray and look up to thee still verse 4 For thou art not a God that pleasd with wickednesse can'st be Nor yet evill at any time shall dwell at all with thee verse 5 The foolish people in thy sight stand stedfast never shall The workers of iniquitie thou surelie hatest all verse 6 Them that are leesing giv'n to speak thou wilt destroy therefore The bloody and deceitfull man God alwayes will abhorre verse 7 But in thy mercies multitude come to thy house I will Thy Temple towards in thy feare I will thee worship still verse 8 O Lord God in thy righteousnesse me lead now I thee pray Because of foes before my face make thou now straight thy way verse 9 For in their mouth no treuth there is their inward's alwayes ill Their throat 's an open sepulchre their tongues do flatter still verse 10 O God who ever righteous art destroy them great and small Let them with shame grief of heart by their own counsels fall Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions hie For in great wickednesse they have rebelled against thee verse 11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice alway Let them for joy in every part most gladly shout for ay Because that thou them by thy hand defendest as they see Let them also that love thy name be joyfull still in thee verse 12 For thou O Lord the righteous man wilt blesse both in and out With favour thou as with a shield wilt compasse him about PSALME VI. O Lord while thou in anger art me then rebuke thou not Nor yet me chasten for my sins in thy displeasure hote verse 2 Have mercy upon me O LORD for I am weake truelie O LORD me heale for all my bones with paine still vexed be verse 3 My soul also in trouble great is all my foes among Sore vexed ev'n continually but thou O LORD how long verse 4 Returne O LORD deliver now my soul distressde and weak Oh save me by thy mighty hand even for thy mercies sake verse 5 For of thee in the place of death there no remembrance be Who lying dead within the grave shall thanks give unto thee verse 6 I wearied with my groning am all night I fill'd with fears Do make my bed to swim my couch I water with my teares verse 7 Mine eye consumed is because of grief and many woes It in this case still waxeth old because of all my foes verse 8 Depart from me ye wicked all that worke iniquity For the LORD o● my weepping now hath heard the voice and cry verse 9 The LORD my supplication now hath heard as I did crave The LORD the prayer that I make will lovingly receive verse 10 Let all mine enmies be asham'd and vexed sore by thee Let them returne and suddenly ashamed also be PSAL. VII O Lord my God most gracious still I put my trust in thee From all them that me persecute save and deliver me verse 2 Lest like a Lion he my soule teare and in pieces small It rent while to deliver me there is none found at all verse 3 O LORD my GOD if any way this hath been done by me Or if at all within my hands iniquity there be verse 4 If him that was at peace with me I ill rewarded so Yea I have him deliv'red that is without cause my so verse 5 Let th'enmie still pursue my soul and take it let him thrust My life down on the earth and lay mine honour in the dust verse 6 Rise Lord in wrath lift up thy self my foes rage to withstand Awake to judgement that for me thou wisely didst command verse 7 The peoples congregation so about thee compasse shall Return thou for their sakes therefore on high set over all verse 8 The Lord shall all the people judge O Lord al 's judge thou me According to my righteousnesse and mine integritie verse 9 Oh let the wickeds malice end but stablish stedfastly The just
justice wilt requite The poor alwayes himself to thee commits in his distresse Thou art alwayes the helper of those that be fatherlesse verse 15 The arme of ill and wicked me break thou in pieces small And seek out all his wickednesse till thou finde none at all verse 16 The LORD for ever and for ay is King for to command The heathen now are perish'd all out of his holy land verse 17 LORD of the humble the desire thou hast heard with thine ear The wilt prepare their hearts thou wilt cause thine ear to hear verse 18 That so thou may most rightly judge the poor and fatherlesse That men who mighty are on earth may no more them oppresse PSAL. XI I In the LORD do put my trust how to my soul say yee Unto your mountain as a bird see that ye swiftly flee verse 2 For lo the wicked bend their bow their arrow al 's with art They fit for privily to shoot at the upright in heart verse 3 If the most strong foundations of my subsisting ●o Both shaken and destroyed be what can the righteous do verse 4 GOD in his holy Temple is the LORDS Throne is in heaven His eyes behold his eye-lids try the children of all men verse 5 The Lord alwayes the righteous but wicked men and ill And him that loveth violence his soul hates ever still verse 6 Upon the wicked snares and f● and brimstone raine he shall And tempest fierce this of theire shall be the portion all verse 7 For the most righteous LORD in righteousnesse delight His countenance most joyfully beholdeth the upright PSALME XII HElp Lord for that the godly man doth cease to be for ay For from among mens children all the faithfull fail alway verse 2 Each one doth with his neighbour speak great words of vanitie They speak even with a double heart and lips that flattring be verse 3 The Lord all lips shall quite cut off that flattring favour seek And al 's the tongue that proud things still presumptuously doth speak verse 4 Who have said with our tongues we will prevail even thus and thus Our lips most surely are our own who is LORD over us verse 5 For the oppression of the poor and sighs of needy still I 'le rise saith God from him that puffs him safely set I will verse 6 The words of God are words most pure as silver that is try'd In a furnace that is of earth ev'n sev'n times purify'd verse 7 Thou shalt O LORD by thy gre● mig● them safely keep together Thou from this generation all shalt them preserve for ever verse 8 The most profane and wicked me now walk on every side When vilest men in honour great exalted still abide PSAL. faithfulnesse shalt stablish to endure A cov'nant with my chosen I have made not to deceive To David my servant in truth solemnly sworn I have verse 4 Thy seed I stablish will most sure for ever not
