wonder_n of_o mercy_n which_o we_o this_o day_n celebrate_v thus_o you_o see_v if_o i_o shall_v pitch_v upon_o the_o deliverance_n itself_o here_o will_v be_v a_o foundation_n upon_o which_o we_o may_v build_v a_o discourse_n not_o unseasonable_a or_o unsuitable_a to_o the_o work_n of_o the_o day_n but_o it_o be_v not_o the_o deliverance_n itself_o but_o the_o return_n which_o have_v call_v out_o my_o thought_n and_o now_o humble_o call_v for_o your_o attention_n and_o this_o return_n be_v twofold_a 1._o what_o they_o do_v then_o be_v they_o glad_a etc._n etc._n 2._o what_o they_o shall_v do_v o_o that_o man_n will_v praise_v the_o lord_n etc._n etc._n and_o to_o hold_v you_o in_o the_o porch_n no_o long_o though_o many_o observation_n may_v be_v raise_v from_o the_o word_n i_o shall_v only_o from_o the_o compare_v of_o these_o two_o together_o sc_n what_o man_n do_v when_o mercy_n and_o deliverance_n come_v in_o they_o be_v glad_a with_o what_o they_o shall_v do_v o_o that_o man_n will_v praise_v the_o lord_n for_o his_o goodness_n etc._n etc._n hold_v forth_o to_o you_o this_o point_n of_o doctrine_n every_o man_n in_o the_o world_n can_v be_v glad_a of_o mercy_n and_o deliverance_n but_o the_o duty_n that_o god_n expect_v be_v that_o man_n shall_v praise_v he_o for_o his_o mercy_n then_o be_v they_o glad_a i_o but_o that_o will_v not_o serve_v the_o turn_n it_o be_v a_o return_n of_o a_o high_a nature_n which_o god_n look_v for_o oh_o that_o man_n will_v praise_v the_o lord_n for_o his_o goodness_n etc._n etc._n or_o thus_o if_o you_o please_v there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n between_o gladness_n and_o thankfulness_n it_o be_v one_o thing_n to_o be_v glad_a of_o a_o mercy_n or_o deliverance_n it_o be_v another_o thing_n to_o be_v thankful_a for_o it_o what_o that_o difference_n be_v and_o wherein_o it_o do_v consist_v be_v all_o i_o intend_v to_o do_v upon_o the_o doctrinal_a part_n of_o this_o truth_n they_o differ_v in_o these_o four_o thing_n sc_fw-la in_o respect_n of_o their_o 1._o nature_n thankfulness_n the_o difference_n between_o gladness_n and_o thankfulness_n 2._o rise_v or_o ground_n 3._o duration_n 4._o operation_n nature_n 1._o in_o their_o nature_n first_o gladness_n and_o thankfulness_n differ_v in_o their_o nature_n gladness_n or_o joy_n be_v but_o a_o natural_a affection_n some_o of_o the_o stoic_a endeavour_n to_o praise_n and_o exalt_v the_o lord_n who_o be_v the_o author_n and_o donor_n of_o the_o mercy_n as_o here_o it_o be_v express_v by_o this_o chief_a and_o high_a act_n of_o thankfulness_n oh_o that_o man_n will_v praise_v the_o lord_n etc._n etc._n let_v they_o exalt_v he_o
