thyself_o to_o read_v the_o alcoran_n until_o thou_o have_v well_o understand_v it_o say_v lord_z increase_v my_o knowledge_n we_o heretofore_o prohibit_v adam_n to_o eat_v of_o the_o forbid_a fruit_n he_o be_v unmindful_a of_o our_o commandment_n i_o find_v in_o he_o no_o perseverance_n remember_v thou_o that_o we_o command_v the_o angel_n to_o humble_v themselves_o before_o he_o they_o humble_v and_o say_v oh_o adam_n i_o will_v conduct_v thou_o to_o the_o tree_n of_o eternity_n a_o treasure_n that_o shall_v never_o perish_v they_o do_v both_o eat_v of_o the_o fruit_n of_o that_o tree_n than_o know_v they_o their_o filthiness_n and_o take_v the_o leaf_n of_o tree_n to_o cover_v their_o nakedness_n adam_n disobey_v his_o lord_n and_o become_v miserable_a nevertheless_o he_o hear_v and_o pardon_v he_o and_o show_v he_o the_o right_a way_n he_o say_v discend_v from_o paradise_n you_o enemy_n of_o each_o other_o i_o will_v hereafter_o send_v you_o a_o guide_n he_o that_o shall_v follow_v he_o shall_v not_o err_v and_o shall_v be_v bless_v he_o that_o shall_v go_v astray_o and_o will_v not_o believe_v in_o i_o shall_v be_v miserable_a in_o the_o world_n and_o blind_a at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n that_o day_n shall_v he_o say_v lord_n wherefore_o have_v thou_o make_v i_o blind_a i_o have_v good_a sight_n when_o i_o be_v in_o the_o world_n i_o do_v this_o day_n forget_v thou_o as_o thou_o do_v forget_v my_o commandment_n thus_o do_v i_o entreat_v infidel_n the_o torment_n of_o the_o other_o world_n be_v more_o grievous_a than_o those_o of_o the_o earth_n patient_a and_o endure_v their_o discourse_n praise_v thy_o lord_n before_o the_o sun_n arise_v before_o it_o set_v a_o hour_n before_o night_n and_o at_o the_o end_n of_o day_n thou_o shall_v do_v a_o thing_n acceptable_a to_o he_o the_o life_n of_o the_o world_n be_v sweet_a to_o tempt_v you_o but_o the_o riches_n of_o thy_o lord_n be_v better_a and_o eternal_a command_v the_o people_n to_o make_v their_o prayer_n at_o the_o time_n appoint_v and_o be_v not_o impatient_a towards_o they_o i_o require_v no_o riches_n of_o thou_o i_o will_v enrich_v thou_o and_o in_o the_o end_n paradise_n shall_v be_v for_o the_o righteous_a the_o unbeliever_n have_v say_v if_o mahomet_n show_v not_o some_o racle_n from_o god_n and_o know_v not_o the_o exposition_n of_o the_o book_n of_o our_o predecessor_n we_o will_v not_o believe_v in_o he_o we_o before_o his_o come_n destroy_v many_o wicked_a person_n who_o say_v lord_n have_v thou_o send_v we_o a_o prophet_n we_o have_v observe_v thy_o commandment_n before_o we_o become_v infamous_a and_o lade_v with_o ignominy_n say_v unto_o they_o every_o one_o expect_v his_o end_n expect_v you_o and_o you_o shall_v one_o day_n know_v they_o that_o follow_v the_o right_a way_n and_o have_v not_o err_v chap._n xxi_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o prophet_n contain_v a_o hundred_o and_o twelve_o verse_n write_v at_o mecca_n in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n gracious_a and_o merciful_a the_o day_n approach_v wherein_o the_o people_n shall_v render_v a_o account_n of_o their_o action_n but_o they_o consider_v it_o not_o and_o depart_v from_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n if_o they_o hear_v they_o they_o laugh_v they_o understand_v they_o not_o and_o keep_v secret_a their_o evil_a intention_n be_v not_o mahomet_n a_o man_n like_o to_o you_o will_v you_o say_v that_o he_o be_v a_o magician_n you_o see_v the_o contrary_a god_n hear_v whatsoever_o be_v speak_v both_o in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o know_v all_o thing_n they_o say_v certain_o mahomet_n have_v dream_v what_o he_o speak_v he_o have_v invent_v it_o and_o be_v a_o poet_n we_o will_v not_o believe_v he_o unless_o he_o show_v some_o miracle_n as_o do_v the_o prophet_n that_o be_v before_o he_o we_o have_v lay_v waste_v many_o city_n because_o their_o inhabitant_n be_v incredulous_a we_o send_v before_o thou_o but_o man_n who_o be_v inspire_v of_o we_o inquire_v of_o they_o to_o who_o heretofore_o be_v give_v the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o write_a law_n if_o you_o know_v it_o not_o they_o be_v man_n that_o do_v eat_v and_o drink_v and_o be_v mortals_n we_o effect_v what_o we_o promise_v to_o they_o we_o preserve_v they_o with_o such_o as_o believe_v and_o destroy_v the_o incredulous_a we_o have_v send_v you_o a_o book_n to_o instruct_v you_o will_v you_o understand_v it_o how_o many_o infidel_n city_n have_v we_o make_v desolate_a how_o many_o new_a people_n have_v we_o establish_v in_o their_o place_n when_o they_o feel_v our_o punishment_n they_o flee_v fly_v not_o and_o return_v to_o what_o have_v delight_v you_o return_v into_o your_o house_n peradventure_o you_o will_v yet_o cover_v the_o riches_n of_o the_o earth_n they_o say_v misery_n be_v upon_o we_o we_o be_v too_o blame_v thus_o do_v they_o talk_v until_o they_o be_v destroy_v we_o have_v not_o create_v heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o whatsoever_o be_v between_o they_o to_o sport_v with_o have_v it_o be_v our_o will_n that_o they_o shall_v have_v scoff_v on_o earth_n they_o shall_v scoff_n likewise_o in_o heaven_n on_o the_o contrary_a i_o oppose_v the_o truth_n to_o falsehood_n to_o confound_v it_o and_o in_o effect_v it_o do_v confound_v it_o misery_n shall_v be_v upon_o you_o because_o of_o your_o blasphemy_n whatsoever_o be_v in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n be_v god_n the_o angel_n be_v not_o ashamed_a to_o worship_v he_o they_o praise_v he_o day_n and_o night_n and_o exalt_v his_o glory_n without_o blasphemy_n the_o infidel_n worship_v god_n make_v of_o earth_n have_v they_o power_n to_o create_v any_o thing_n be_v there_o in_o heaven_n and_o on_o earth_n another_o god_n they_o will_v not_o accord_v praise_v be_v god_n lord_n of_o the_o universe_n what_o the_o infidel_n relate_v be_v untrue_a he_o ask_v no_o counsel_n when_o he_o will_v do_v any_o thing_n as_o do_v man_n will_v they_o worship_v any_o other_o god_n but_o he_o say_v unto_o they_o produce_v your_o argument_n behold_v what_o we_o have_v to_o speak_v unto_o you_o behold_v our_o reason_n and_o those_o of_o our_o predecessor_n certain_o the_o great_a part_n of_o they_o be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o truth_n and_o go_v astray_o we_o inspire_v into_o all_o the_o prophet_n which_o we_o send_v that_o there_o be_v but_o one_o god_n that_o ought_v to_o be_v worship_v they_o say_v believe_v you_o that_o the_o angel_n be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n praise_v be_v god_n on_o the_o contrary_a they_o be_v his_o creature_n he_o love_v they_o they_o speak_v not_o but_o after_o he_o and_o obey_v what_o he_o command_v they_o he_o know_v all_o their_o action_n past_a and_o future_a they_o pray_v for_o no_o man_n but_o through_o his_o permission_n and_o fear_v to_o displease_v he_o who_o among_o they_o will_v say_v i_o be_o god_n instead_o of_o god_n he_o shall_v be_v cast_v headlong_o into_o the_o fire_n of_o hell_n thus_o do_v i_o entreat_v unbeliever_n know_v they_o not_o that_o the_o heaven_n and_o the_o earth_n be_v shut_v up_o we_o open_v they_o and_o give_v life_n to_o every_o thing_n through_o the_o rain_n which_o we_o make_v to_o descend_v will_v they_o not_o believe_v in_o my_o unity_n we_o create_v the_o mountain_n to_o hinder_v the_o earth_n to_o move_v we_o make_v therein_o way_n large_a and_o spacious_a for_o our_o creature_n we_o cover_v it_o with_o the_o heaven_n and_o have_v exempt_v it_o from_o fall_v nevertheless_o they_o despise_v our_o commandment_n it_o be_v the_o lord_n who_o create_v day_n and_o night_n the_o moon_n and_o the_o sun_n all_o thing_n praise_v and_o exalt_v he_o in_o heaven_n we_o create_v no_o person_n to_o dwell_v for_o over_o on_o earth_n all_o man_n shall_v taste_v of_o death_n i_o will_v prove_v you_o with_o good_a and_o evil_a and_o you_o shall_v appear_v before_o i_o to_o give_v account_n of_o your_o action_n the_o infidel_n scoff_n at_o you_o when_o they_o see_v you_o and_o say_v behold_v they_o that_o deride_v our_o god_n they_o obey_v not_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n he_o create_v man_n of_o dust_n and_o shall_v show_v you_o the_o effect_n of_o his_o omnipotency_n be_v not_o impatient_a to_o see_v the_o punishment_n of_o the_o wicked_a who_o say_v when_o shall_v be_v the_o day_n of_o judgement_n do_v they_o know_v it_o they_o will_v remove_v the_o fire_n from_o their_o back_n and_o visage_n that_o day_n shall_v surprise_v they_o it_o shall_v astonish_v they_o when_o they_o think_v least_o of_o it_o they_o can_v retard_v it_o and_o shall_v be_v deprive_v of_o protection_n certain_o they_o scorn_v the_o prophet_n that_o be_v send_v before_o thou_o but_o they_o be_v punish_v after_o their_o demerit_n say_v unto_o they_o who_o but_o the_o merciful_a god_n preserve_v you_o day_n and_o night_n nevertheless_o you_o reject_v his_o commandment_n have_v they_o any_o other_o god_n but_o i_o that_o be_v able_a to_o save_v they_o their_o god_n can_v defend_v themselves_o i_o will_v not_o protect_v they_o yet_o will_v i_o enrich_v they_o as_o i_o enrich_v their_o father_n and_o will_v prolong_v their_o life_n to_o punish_v they_o on_o earth_n know_v they_o not_o that_o their_o estate_n diminish_v on_o all_o side_n through_o thy_o conquest_n be_v it_o so_o that_o they_o be_v victorious_a say_v unto_o they_o i_o preach_v to_o you_o what_o god_n have_v inspire_v into_o i_o but_o the_o deaf_a hear_v not_o when_o they_o be_v exhort_v when_o they_o be_v a_o little_a touch_v with_o the_o chastisement_n of_o god_n they_o say_v oh_o misery_n we_o be_v too_o blame_v and_o be_v unjust_a i_o will_v weigh_v their_o work_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n that_o i_o may_v do_v injustice_n to_o no_o person_n of_o the_o weight_n of_o a_o grain_n of_o mustardseed_n and_o will_v most_o exact_o account_v we_o give_v to_o moses_n and_o aaron_n the_o book_n that_o distinguish_v good_a from_o evil_n and_o command_v they_o to_o preach_v our_o commandment_n to_o they_o that_o have_v our_o fear_n before_o their_o eye_n
give_v you_o sight_n hear_v and_o sense_n but_o few_o among_o you_o return_v he_o thanks_o he_o it_o be_v that_o have_v create_v you_o of_o earth_n you_o shall_v one_o day_n be_v assemble_v before_o he_o to_o be_v judge_v he_o it_o be_v that_o give_v life_n and_o death_n and_o make_v the_o difference_n of_o day_n and_o night_n will_v you_o not_o honour_v he_o neither_o consider_v on_o the_o contrary_a they_o have_v say_v as_o do_v their_o predecessor_n wherefore_o shall_v we_o die_v our_o bone_n shall_v be_v dust_n and_o shall_v we_o rise_v again_o this_o be_v heretofore_o promise_v to_o our_o father_n and_o to_o we_o certain_o it_o be_v but_o a_o old_a song_n say_v unto_o they_o to_o who_o appertain_v the_o earth_n and_o whatsoever_o be_v in_o the_o earth_n if_o you_o know_v be_v the_o present_a and_o the_o future_a he_o have_v no_o companion_n say_v lord_n give_v i_o o_o see_v the_o effect_n of_o all_o that_o thou_o have_v promise_v to_o they_o and_o put_v i_o not_o among_o the_o unjust_a deliver_v we_o from_o evil_a and_o do_v good_a to_o we_o i_o know_v their_o impiety_n lord_n deliver_v i_o from_o the_o temptation_n of_o the_o devil_n deliver_v i_o from_o their_o malice_n when_o any_o one_o among_o they_o die_v he_o say_v lord_n permit_v i_o to_o return_v into_o the_o world_n i_o will_v do_v better_a than_o i_o have_v do_v there_o be_v no_o return_n it_o be_v to_o speak_v in_o vain_a there_o be_v a_o obstacle_n behind_o they_o that_o detain_v they_o until_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n when_o the_o trumpet_n shall_v sound_v nothing_o shall_v retard_v they_o they_o shall_v not_o glory_n nor_o discourse_n with_o each_o other_o the_o balance_n of_o the_o bless_a shall_v be_v heavy_a with_o good_a work_n and_o the_o balance_n of_o the_o curse_a shall_v be_v light_n of_o good_a work_n have_v not_o my_o commandment_n be_v preach_v unto_o you_o wherefore_o do_v you_o contemn_v they_o they_o shall_v say_v lord_n our_o misery_n prevail_v over_o we_o we_o be_v mislead_v lord_n deliver_v we_o from_o this_o misery_n the_o contrary_a be_v promise_v to_o we_o true_o we_o be_v exceed_o too_o blame_n it_o shall_v be_v say_v unto_o they_o depart_v into_o the_o fire_n and_o never_o speak_v to_o come_v out_o many_o of_o they_o that_o worship_v i_o say_v lord_n we_o believe_v in_o thou_o pardon_v our_o sin_n thou_o be_v merciful_a you_o have_v he_o he_o shall_v give_v account_n of_o his_o action_n and_o the_o infidel_n shall_v be_v miserable_a say_v lord_n pardon_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o righteous_a thou_o be_v the_o great_a merciful_a chap._n xxiv_o the_o chapter_n of_o light_n contain_v seventy_o and_o four_o verse_n write_v at_o medina_n in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n gracious_a and_o merciful_a we_o have_v send_v this_o chapter_n contain_v our_o commandment_n clear_a and_o intelligible_a peradventure_o you_o will_v learn_v they_o the_o unlawful_o the_o be_v a_o man_n or_o boy_n keep_v unlawful_o catamite_n and_o the_o concubine_n shall_v be_v whip_v with_o a_o hundred_o stripe_n take_v heed_n lest_o clemency_n cause_v you_o to_o forget_v the_o precept_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n believe_v in_o his_o divine_a majesty_n and_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n some_o of_o the_o true-believer_n shall_v be_v witness_n of_o their_o punishment_n the_o catamite_n lie_v with_o a_o concubine_n or_o a_o infidel_n the_o concubine_n lie_v with_o a_o catamite_n or_o infidel_n these_o thing_n be_v forbid_v the_o true_a believer_n he_o that_o shall_v accuse_v a_o honest_a woman_n of_o adultery_n shall_v be_v whip_v with_o twenty_o four_o stripe_n unless_o he_o prove_v his_o accusation_n by_o four_o witness_n and_o shall_v never_o be_v credit_v in_o testimony_n they_o that_o do_v such_o thing_n be_v without_o the_o obedience_n of_o god_n except_o those_o that_o repent_v and_o satisfy_v what_o they_o owe_v god_n shall_v be_v to_o they_o gracious_a and_o merciful_a they_o that_o shall_v accuse_v their_o wife_n of_o adultery_n and_o have_v no_o witness_n shall_v swear_v four_o time_n that_o they_o speak_v the_o truth_n and_o shall_v the_o five_o time_n call_v for_o the_o curse_n of_o god_n to_o be_v upon_o they_o if_o they_o be_v liar_n the_o wife_n shall_v be_v exempt_a from_o punishment_n if_o she_o swear_v four_o time_n that_o her_o husband_n be_v a_o liar_n and_o if_o the_o five_o time_n she_o pray_v that_o the_o wrath_n and_o indignation_n of_o god_n may_v be_v upon_o she_o gelaldâ—n_n see_v gelaldâ—n_n if_o what_o her_o husband_n have_v say_v be_v true_a in_o this_o manner_n do_v god_n gratify_v you_o that_o you_o may_v understand_v the_o truth_n he_o be_v most_o gracious_a and_o most_o wise_a that_o troup_n that_o make_v defection_n from_o the_o true-believer_n with_o a_o our_o lord_n we_o know_v it_o well_o they_o can_v therefore_o say_v at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n that_o they_o know_v not_o his_o unity_n they_o shall_v say_v for_o excuse_v our_o father_n adore_v many_o god_n before_o we_o we_o be_v their_o posterity_n will_v thou_o destroy_v we_o because_o of_o their_o iniquity_n thus_o do_v i_o discover_v my_o mystery_n to_o man_n it_o may_v be_v they_o will_v be_v convert_v relate_v to_o they_o the_o history_n of_o he_o that_o see_v our_o miracle_n he_o be_v despoil_v of_o his_o understanding_n the_o devil_n follow_v it_o and_o he_o be_v in_o the_o number_n of_o the_o wretched_a have_v we_o so_o please_v we_o have_v exalt_v he_o through_o the_o knowledge_n of_o our_o wonder_n among_o the_o doctor_n but_o he_o crouch_v to_o the_o ground_n and_o follow_v his_o own_o appetite_n like_v to_o a_o chafe_v dog_n if_o thou_o chase_v he_o with_o choler_n he_o put_v forth_o his_o tongue_n if_o thou_o leave_v he_o at_o rest_n he_o will_v still_o put_v forth_o his_o tongue_n like_a to_o the_o infidel_n that_o contemn_v our_o instruction_n if_o thou_o recount_v to_o they_o our_o miracle_n or_o do_v not_o recount_v perhaps_o they_o will_v be_v convert_v perhaps_o they_o will_v not_o be_v convert_v and_o shall_v be_v like_o such_o as_o have_v abjure_v our_o commandment_n and_o injure_v their_o own_o soul_n he_o who_o god_n guide_v be_v well_o guide_v and_o he_o who_o god_n misleadeth_a be_v in_o the_o number_n of_o the_o miserable_a we_o have_v create_v hell_n to_o punish_v devil_n and_o man_n they_o have_v heart_n and_o comprehend_v noâ—_n the_o truth_n they_o have_v eye_n and_o see_v it_o not_o ear_n have_v they_o and_o hear_v it_o not_o they_o be_v like_a to_o beast_n and_o worse_o than_o beast_n they_o be_v altogether_o ignorant_a the_o most_o beautiful_a name_n of_o the_o world_n appertain_v to_o god_n beseech_v he_o by_o the_o beauty_n of_o his_o name_n and_o depart_v from_o they_o that_o depart_v from_o the_o truth_n through_o the_o name_n that_o they_o impose_v on_o their_o idol_n they_o shall_v be_v chastise_v after_o their_o demerit_n some_o there_o be_v that_o follow_v the_o truth_n and_o judge_v with_o equity_n i_o will_v by_o degree_n punish_v they_o that_o shall_v reject_v our_o commandment_n when_o they_o shall_v think_v thereon_o i_o will_v defer_v their_o punishment_n some_o time_n because_o my_o wrath_n be_v violent_a remember_v they_o not_o that_o they_o say_v mahomet_n be_v possess_v of_o the_o devil_n on_o the_o contrary_a he_o declare_v the_o joy_n of_o paradise_n and_o preach_v the_o torment_n of_o hell_n consider_v they_o not_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n and_o of_o earth_n which_o god_n have_v create_v of_o nothing_o the_o fear_n of_o death_n shall_v arrive_v before_o they_o have_v acknowledge_v their_o sin_n in_o what_o will_v they_o believe_v if_o they_o have_v not_o faith_n in_o the_o alcoran_n he_o who_o god_n shall_v mislead_v shall_v find_v none_o to_o guide_v he_o he_o shall_v leave_v infidel_n confound_v in_o their_o disobedience_n they_o shall_v inquire_v of_o thou_o concern_v the_o hour_n and_o day_n of_o judgement_n say_v unto_o they_o no_o man_n know_v it_o but_o god_n but_o the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o world_n believe_v it_o not_o i_o have_v not_o power_n to_o do_v either_o good_a or_o evil_n of_o myself_o if_o god_n do_v not_o permit_v it_o if_o i_o know_v the_o future_a i_o shall_v provide_v wealth_n to_o preserve_v i_o from_o poverty_n i_o be_o send_v only_o to_o declare_v the_o joy_n of_o paradise_n and_o preach_v the_o torment_n of_o hell_n to_o they_o that_o believe_v in_o god_n he_o it_o be_v that_o create_v you_o of_o one_o sole_a person_n and_o create_v his_o spouse_n of_o his_o rib_n to_o dwell_v with_o she_o when_o she_o doubt_v of_o be_v with_o child_n she_o cease_v not_o to_o travel_v as_o she_o be_v wont_a but_o when_o her_o conception_n render_v her_o heavy_a they_o both_o beseech_v god_n their_o lord_n and_o say_v lord_z give_v a_o happy_a progeny_n to_o the_o end_n we_o may_v be_v in_o the_o number_n of_o they_o that_o return_v thou_o thanks_o for_o thy_o favour_n when_o god_n give_v they_o a_o son_n a_o righteous_a man_n they_o associate_v he_o in_o what_o
he_o have_v give_v they_o and_o all_o of_o they_o exalt_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o divine_a majesty_n above_o the_o idol_n of_o the_o infidel_n that_o adore_v thing_n which_o can_v create_v nothing_o that_o be_v thing_n create_v and_o can_v do_v neither_o good_a nor_o harm_n if_o you_o call_v idolater_n to_o thâ—_n right_a way_n they_o will_v not_o follow_v you_o if_o you_o invoke_v idol_n misery_n shall_v be_v upon_o you_o will_v you_o be_v mute_a to_o profess_v the_o unity_n of_o god_n will_v you_o worship_v the_o creature_n instead_o of_o the_o creator_n go_v adore_v your_o idol_n and_o may_v they_o hear_v your_o prayer_n if_o you_o believe_v they_o to_o be_v god_n have_v they_o foot_n to_o walk_v hand_n to_o touch_v eye_n to_o see_v and_o ear_n to_o hear_v say_v unto_o they_o if_o you_o invoke_v your_o idol_n and_o conspire_v against_o i_o you_o shall_v find_v none_o to_o protect_v you_o god_n be_v my_o protector_n he_o have_v cause_v the_o alcoran_n to_o descend_v from_o heaven_n he_o be_v the_o defendor_n of_o the_o righteous_a what_o you_o adore_v can_v neither_o benefit_n nor_o hurt_v you_o if_o thou_o invoke_v idol_n they_o shall_v not_o hear_v thou_o they_o shall_v look_v upon_o thou_o and_o shall_v not_o see_v thou_o do_v what_o be_v lawful_a to_o be_v do_v command_v thing_n honest_a and_o depart_v from_o the_o ignorant_a if_o the_o devil_n will_v seduce_v thou_o trust_v in_o god_n he_o hear_v and_o know_v all_o thing_n such_o as_o fear_v he_o remember_v his_o mercy_n and_o chastisement_n when_o they_o be_v tempt_v of_o the_o devil_n although_o infidel_n know_v the_o truth_n the_o devil_n cease_v not_o to_o continue_v they_o in_o their_o sin_n they_o always_o follow_v their_o impiety_n if_o thou_o go_v to_o they_o to_o instruct_v they_o they_o say_v thou_o sing_v a_o old_a song_n say_v unto_o they_o i_o do_v what_o my_o lord_n inspire_v into_o i_o what_o i_o teach_v you_o be_v the_o light_n of_o faith_n the_o right_a way_n and_o that_o be_v near_o to_o thy_o lord_n neglect_v not_o to_o worship_v he_o they_o praise_v and_o adore_v he_o with_o humility_n chap._n viii_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o spoil_n contain_v seventy_o and_o five_o verse_n write_v at_o medina_n they_o mahomet_n man_n differ_v concern_v division_n of_o the_o spoil_n which_o they_o take_v at_o the_o battle_n of_o beder_n mahomet_n divide_v it_o in_o pious_a work_n some_o part_n of_o their_o wealth_n believe_v in_o the_o unity_n of_o his_o divine_a majesty_n they_o have_v the_o degree_n of_o their_o habitation_n in_o paradise_n shall_v receive_v from_o their_o lord_n pardon_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o exceed_v great_a treasure_n when_o thy_o lord_n cause_v thou_o to_o go_v out_o of_o thy_o house_n to_o go_v against_o the_o infidel_n a_o party_n of_o the_o true_a believer_n have_v a_o great_a aversion_n to_o fight_v gelaldin_n see_v gelaldin_n they_o dispute_v with_o thou_o the_o necessity_n of_o combat_n have_v see_v and_o know_v that_o their_o enemy_n lead_v they_o to_o a_o certain_a death_n call_v to_o mind_n that_o god_n promise_v you_o that_o a_o party_n of_o the_o army_n of_o the_o enemy_n shall_v obey_v you_o desire_v you_o other_o thing_n then_o the_o glory_n and_o honour_n of_o victory_n god_n confirm_v the_o truth_n by_o his_o word_n and_o destroy_v the_o wicked_a he_o ratifi_v the_o truth_n and_o destroy_v falsehood_n although_o it_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o will_n of_o the_o impious_a remember_v that_o your_o lord_n hear_v you_o when_o you_o of_o he_o implore_a succour_n and_o that_o he_o assist_v you_o with_o a_o thousand_o of_o his_o angel_n send_v from_o heaven_n god_n send_v you_o this_o aid_n only_o to_o let_v you_o know_v his_o grace_n and_o to_o confirm_v your_o heart_n victory_n proceed_v from_o god_n he_o be_v omnipotent_a and_o most_o prudent_a remember_v that_o god_n cover_v you_o with_o a_o secure_a sleep_n and_o cause_v water_n to_o descend_v from_o heaven_n to_o wash_v purify_v and_o deliver_v you_o from_o the_o malice_n of_o the_o devil_n plant_v in_o your_o heart_n generosity_n and_o patience_n and_o go_v on_o with_o assurance_n god_n have_v say_v to_o his_o angel_n i_o will_v be_v with_o you_o confirm_v the_o step_n of_o the_o true-believer_n i_o will_v cast_v fear_n into_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o wicked_a strike_v they_o on_o the_o head_n smite_v they_o on_o the_o finger_n and_o foot_n because_o they_o have_v contradict_v my_o will_n and_o that_o of_o the_o prophet_n god_n severe_o chastise_v such_o as_o disobey_v his_o commandment_n and_o oppose_v the_o will_n of_o his_o prophet_n the_o unbeliever_n have_v heretofore_o taste_v of_o his_o punishment_n in_o this_o world_n and_o shall_v in_o the_o end_n feel_v the_o pain_n of_o the_o fire_n of_o hell_n oh_o you_o who_o believe_v in_o god_n turn_v not_o the_o back_n to_o the_o wicked_a as_o vanquish_v when_o they_o approach_v to_o fight_v you_o he_o that_o shall_v turn_v the_o back_n shall_v return_v in_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o be_v throw_v headlong_o into_o the_o fire_n of_o hell_n you_o slay_v not_o the_o infidel_n at_o the_o fight_n of_o beder_n god_n himself_o slay_v they_o gelaldin_n see_v gelaldin_n mahomet_n gelaldin_n ob_fw-la mahomet_n thou_o do_v not_o cast_v stone_n against_o they_o god_n do_v cast_v they_o to_o advantage_v the_o true-believer_n he_o understand_v whatsoever_o they_o say_v and_o know_v all_o their_o action_n certain_o he_o will_v augment_v the_o affliction_n of_o the_o wicked_a when_o you_o require_v victory_n it_o be_v give_v you_o if_o you_o relinquish_v your_o impiety_n you_o shall_v do_v well_o if_o you_o retutne_v to_o fight_v against_o the_o prophet_n know_v that_o he_o will_v protect_v he_o against_o you_o your_o man_n of_o war_n shall_v advantage_v you_o in_o nothing_o notwithstanding_o they_o be_v numerous_a for_o that_o god_n be_v with_o the_o true-believer_n o_o you_o that_o believe_v obey_v god_n &_o his_o prophet_n depart_v not_o from_o he_o since_o you_o have_v hear_v the_o commandment_n of_o his_o divine_a majesty_n be_v not_o as_o those_o that_o say_v we_o have_v hear_v and_o be_v deaf_a and_o dumb_a the_o ignominy_n and_o misery_n that_o god_n lay_v â—n_a beast_n be_v to_o be_v deaf_a and_o dumb_a and_o to_o want_v the_o use_n of_o reason_n have_v god_n see_v any_o good_a inclination_n in_o the_o infidel_n he_o have_v not_o leave_v they_o in_o their_o deafness_n but_o although_o they_o have_v hear_v clear_o they_o shall_v have_v always_o depart_v from_o his_o law_n and_o have_v be_v obstinate_a o_o you_o that_o believe_v in_o god_n obey_v god_n and_o the_o prophet_n demand_v life_n eternal_a in_o your_o prayer_n and_o know_v that_o god_n will_v separate_v the_o gall_n frâ—m_o the_o liver_n he_o will_v separate_v the_o infidel_n from_o the_o true-believer_n and_o you_o all_o shall_v appear_v before_o he_o to_o be_v recompense_v and_o chastise_v â—or_a your_o work_n fear_v the_o punishment_n that_o shall_v be_v inflict_v especial_o on_o the_o seditious_a and_o ingrateful_a god_n be_v â—evere_a in_o his_o chastisement_n remember_v that_o in_o the_o territory_n of_o mecca_n you_o be_v but_o â—n_a handful_n of_o weak_a man_n and_o with_o fear_n of_o be_v take_v and_o destroy_v by_o the_o unbeliever_n god_n save_v protect_v and_o enrich_v you_o with_o all_o manner_n of_o good_a thing_n peradventure_o you_o will_v give_v he_o thanks_o oh_o you_o that_o believe_v betray_v not_o god_n noâ—_n the_o prophet_n neither_o such_o as_o confide_v in_o you_o and_o have_v entrust_v their_o wealth_n in_o your_o hand_n otherwise_o your_o riches_n and_o child_n shall_v torment_v you_o in_o the_o other_o world_n there_o be_v with_o god_n great_a reward_n for_o the_o righteous_a o_o you_o that_o believe_v if_o you_o fear_v god_n he_o shall_v remove_v your_o enemy_n far_o from_o you_o and_o
