by_o experience_n upon_o thy_o soul_n it_o will_v make_v thou_o think_v thyself_o happy_a though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o misery_n and_o make_v thou_o rejoice_v though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o sorrow_n and_o give_v thou_o occasion_n to_o bless_v and_o praise_v the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o worst_a of_o dispensation_n and_o lest_o thou_o shall_v at_o any_o time_n be_v fill_v and_o overcome_v with_o slavish_a fear_n under_o the_o consideration_n of_o thy_o earthly_a adversary_n and_o be_v fright_v from_o the_o truth_n by_o the_o frown_a rage_n of_o thy_o enemy_n i_o here_o present_v thou_o with_o a_o excellent_a antidote_n against_o the_o fear_n and_o terror_n of_o man_n which_o be_v know_v by_o experience_n to_o be_v of_o a_o wonderful_a strengthen_v nature_n and_o if_o it_o be_v kind_o receive_v into_o thy_o soul_n it_o will_v sufficient_o fortify_v and_o encourage_v thou_o against_o all_o opposition_n whatsoever_o and_o make_v thou_o bold_a and_o courageous_a desire_v thou_o to_o read_v it_o considerate_o and_o peruse_v it_o in_o love_n that_o so_o it_o may_v prove_v as_o food_n to_o thy_o soul_n and_o strength_n to_o thy_o inward_a man_n to_o the_o praise_n and_o glory_n of_o he_o who_o have_v call_v thou_o out_o of_o darkness_n into_o his_o marvellous_a light_n which_o be_v the_o earnest_a desire_n of_o his_o soul_n who_o be_v thy_o faithful_a friend_n and_o servant_n in_o the_o concernment_n of_o jesus_n christ_n edward_z noble_z a_o strong_a motive_n to_o faithful_a perseverance_n in_o the_o work_n of_o the_o kingdom_n draw_v from_o receive_v and_o embrace_v that_o doctrine_n and_o counsel_n which_o be_v comprehend_v in_o these_o word_n because_o they_o proceed_v out_o of_o the_o mouth_n of_o so_o gracious_a wise_a and_o wonderful_a counsellor_n one_o who_o his_o very_a enemy_n can_v not_o but_o confess_v do_v speak_v as_o never_o man_n speak_v joh._n 7.46_o and_o those_o that_o be_v his_o follower_n and_o have_v little_a close_o to_o the_o word_n themselves_o and_o let_v we_o see_v what_o this_o bless_a counsellor_n will_v have_v we_o learn_v from_o thence_o and_o let_v we_o a_o little_a examine_v what_o encouragement_n he_o will_v give_v we_o to_o receive_v his_o doctrine_n in_o the_o word_n themselves_o you_o have_v chief_o these_o three_o thing_n 1._o here_o be_v a_o exhortation_n or_o rather_o a_o dehortation_n to_o dehort_v we_o from_o something_o which_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v find_v among_o we_o or_o more_o plain_o here_o be_v a_o injunction_n something_o enjoin_v upon_o we_o by_o way_n of_o duty_n which_o be_v not_o to_o be_v afraid_a contain_v in_o cheese_n word_n fear_v not_o 2._o here_o be_v the_o person_n include_v upon_o who_o this_o duty_n be_v enjoin_v and_o they_o be_v the_o to_o enforce_v the_o exhortation_n or_o to_o stir_v we_o up_o to_o put_v this_o necessary_a duty_n into_o practice_n and_o that_o be_v in_o these_o word_n for_o it_o be_v your_o father_n good_a die_a sinner_n it_o be_v a_o great_a dishonour_n to_o god_n for_o saint_n to_o be_v afraid_a of_o a_o mortal_a man_n and_o forget_v the_o fear_n of_o the_o live_a god_n it_o be_v a_o shame_n for_o a_o saint_n who_o strength_n be_v in_o the_o lord_n to_o be_v afraid_a of_o a_o man_n who_o great_a strength_n be_v weakness_n it_o be_v a_o shame_n for_o a_o saint_n who_o hope_n and_o confidence_n be_v in_o the_o god_n of_o jacob_n to_o be_v afraid_a of_o a_o man_n who_o expectation_n shall_v perish_v it_o be_v a_o horrid_a thing_n that_o saint_n shall_v be_v more_o afraid_a to_o serve_v the_o lord_n then_o wicked_a man_n be_v to_o serve_v the_o devil_n therefore_o let_v we_o hold_v fast_o the_o profession_n of_o our_o faith_n without_o waver_v and_o never_o fear_v what_o man_n can_v do_v may_v have_v tribulation_n and_o sorrow_n yet_o in_o god_n we_o may_v have_v peace_n and_o comfort_n and_o joy_n in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n therefore_o see_v be_v good_a 1_o pet._n 3.13_o see_v also_o that_o notable_a place_n 2_o cor._n 4.16_o 17._o where_o the_o apostle_n themselves_o make_v this_o consideration_n a_o great_a support_n to_o their_o soul_n under_o all_o their_o trouble_n for_o which_o cause_n say_v the_o apostle_n we_o faint_v not_o but_o though_o our_o outward_a man_n perish_v yet_o our_o inward_a man_n be_v renew_v day_n by_o day_n for_o our_o light_a affliction_n which_o be_v but_o for_o a_o moment_n work_v for_o we_o a_o far_o more_o exceed_a and_o eternal_a weight_n of_o glory_n so_o that_o you_o may_v see_v all_o our_o temporal_a affliction_n be_v but_o so_o many_o soul_n advantage_n and_o all_o our_o earthly_a lâ—sâ—es_n will_v be_v make_v up_o to_o we_o in_o heavenly_a treasure_n and_o all_o our_o cross_n will_v but_o make_v our_o crown_n of_o glory_n the_o great_a therefore_o under_o this_o consideration_n let_v we_o go_v forward_o with_o boldness_n in_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o never_o fear_v may_v the_o heart_n of_o man_n conceive_v to_o itself_o what_o glorious_a and_o excellent_a thing_n may_v possible_o enter_v into_o the_o imagination_n of_o the_o heart_n yea_o the_o heart_n may_v fancy_v to_o itself_o thing_n which_o be_v impossible_a to_o be_v and_o thing_n which_o can_v be_v utter_v the_o heart_n may_v conceive_v that_o which_o the_o eye_n never_o see_v nor_o the_o ear_n never_o hear_v out_o yet_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n can_v conceive_v such_o thing_n as_o the_o lord_n have_v provide_v prepare_v and_o lay_v up_o in_o store_n for_o they_o that_o love_v he_o the_o tongue_n of_o man_n and_o angel_n be_v not_o able_a to_o express_v the_o fullness_n of_o that_o joy_n the_o greatness_n of_o that_o glory_n the_o incomparable_a happiness_n of_o saint_n in_o their_o kingdom_n all_o the_o joy_n and_o pleasure_n on_o earth_n be_v but_o sorrow_n and_o misery_n in_o comparison_n of_o this_o heavenly_a joy_n in_o the_o saint_n kingdom_n all_o the_o glory_n on_o earth_n be_v but_o shame_n and_o contempt_n in_o comparison_n of_o the_o saint_n glory_n in_o heaven_n all_o the_o happiness_n that_o can_v be_v enjoy_v under_o the_o sun_n be_v but_o vanity_n and_o trouble_n in_o comparison_n of_o the_o sweet_a and_o heavenly_a happiness_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n oh_o how_o may_v this_o rejoice_v and_o make_v glad_a the_o spirit_n of_o saint_n to_o consider_v of_o their_o portion_n in_o their_o father_n kingdom_n oh_o how_o may_v this_o ravish_v and_o strengthen_v the_o heart_n of_o god_n people_n to_o think_v of_o their_o father_n love_n that_o he_o shall_v extend_v his_o grace_n and_o goodness_n so_o far_o towards_o his_o child_n as_o to_o make_v they_o heir_n of_o a_o glorious_a kingdom_n and_o crown_v they_o with_o unspeakable_a joy_n and_o happiness_n so_o that_o this_o be_v another_o excellent_a privilege_n or_o a_o six_o branch_n of_o that_o happiness_n which_o the_o saint_n shall_v enjoy_v in_o their_o father_n kingdom_n but_o seven_o and_o last_o 7._o that_o which_o be_v the_o main_a thing_n of_o all_o and_o that_o which_o be_v most_o remarkable_a be_v this_o all_o this_o glory_n and_o happiness_n and_o all_o this_o joy_n and_o blessedness_n will_v be_v eternal_a and_o shall_v continue_v even_o for_o ever_o and_o ever_o they_o shall_v always_o be_v glorious_a and_o never_o know_v a_o end_n of_o their_o heavenly_a shall_v always_o be_v rich_a and_o honourable_a and_o never_o know_v a_o end_n of_o their_o excellent_a dignity_n they_o shall_v always_o abound_v in_o fullness_n of_o joy_n and_o never_o know_v a_o end_n of_o their_o unspeakable_a plenty_n this_o be_v that_o which_o do_v eminent_o and_o chief_o demonstrate_v the_o excellent_a happiness_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n for_o if_o they_o be_v to_o enjoy_v never_o so_o much_o glory_n and_o happiness_n and_o never_o so_o much_o joy_n and_o blessedness_n yet_o if_o this_o be_v to_o continue_v but_o for_o a_o short_a time_n or_o a_o little_a while_n then_o indeed_o it_o will_v not_o be_v altogether_o so_o much_o worth_n the_o prize_v but_o the_o glory_n and_o happiness_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o this_o heavenly_a kingdom_n be_v not_o only_o for_o a_o little_a time_n but_o for_o ever_o and_o ever_o as_o their_o happiness_n begin_v so_o it_o shall_v continue_v and_o never_o have_v a_o end_n as_o they_o shall_v be_v pure_a and_o without_o sin_n at_o first_o so_o they_o shall_v be_v pure_a and_o without_o sin_n for_o ever_o as_o they_o shall_v be_v free_v from_o sorrow_n and_o trouble_n at_o first_o so_o they_o shall_v be_v free_v from_o sorrow_n and_o trouble_n for_o ever_o as_o they_o shall_v dwell_v with_o god_n and_o christ_n at_o first_o so_o they_o shall_v dwell_v with_o god_n and_o christ_n for_o ever_o and_o enjoy_v the_o society_n of_o glorious_a angel_n to_o all_o eternity_n there_o be_v nothing_o can_v alter_v nor_o change_v the_o affair_n in_o this_o kingdom_n nor_o nothing_o can_v bring_v the_o glory_n of_o the_o saint_n to_o a_o end_n oh_o what_o a_o incomparable_a privilege_n be_v this_o where_o be_v there_o such_o a_o durable_a habitation_n in_o this_o world_n or_o where_o be_v there_o such_o a_o restingplace_n on_o earth_n alas_o if_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o world_n do_v chance_n to_o mile_n upon_o a_o person_n at_o present_a and_o riches_n and_o honour_n do_v seem_v to_o increase_v all_o be_v so_o vain_a and_o uncertain_a that_o there_o be_v no_o confidence_n to_o be_v put_v in_o their_o last_a the_o world_n may_v soon_o show_v a_o frown_a countenance_n again_o and_o quick_o turn_v its_o own_o glory_n into_o shame_n and_o contempt_n and_o quick_o turn_v riches_n and_o plenty_n into_o poverty_n and_o want_n and_o all_o may_v quick_o make_v themselves_o wing_n and_o vanish_v away_o and_o so_o procure_v great_a trouble_n and_o vexation_n of_o spirit_n but_o now_o in_o this_o kingdom_n all_o their_o happiness_n and_o all_o their_o privilege_n be_v eternal_a and_o shall_v never_o have_v a_o end_n their_o perfection_n shall_v be_v always_o complete_a and_o never_o be_v diminish_v their_o
thou_o o_o lord_n but_o to_o the_o saint_n that_o be_v in_o the_o earth_n and_o to_o the_o excellent_a in_o who_o be_v all_o my_o delight_n but_o as_o touch_v the_o wicked_a this_o be_v his_o language_n concern_v they_o dog_n have_v compass_v i_o about_o the_o assembly_n of_o the_o wicked_a have_v enclose_v i_o they_o be_v altogether_o become_v filthy_a and_o abominable_a their_o poison_n be_v like_o the_o poison_n of_o a_o serpent_n they_o be_v like_o the_o deaf_a adder_n and_o the_o filthy_a boar._n therefore_o i_o will_v not_o know_v a_o wicked_a person_n but_o i_o will_v say_v unto_o they_o depart_v from_o i_o you_o evil_a doer_n for_o i_o will_v keep_v the_o commandment_n of_o my_o god_n from_o hence_o you_o may_v observe_v that_o wicked_a person_n though_o never_o so_o great_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o world_n be_v loathsome_a and_o abominable_a person_n and_o very_o contemptible_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o good_a man_n but_o the_o mean_a saint_n be_v excellent_a and_o honourable_a and_o very_o precious_a both_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o in_o the_o account_n of_o his_o people_n therefore_o little_o do_v the_o foolish_a world_n think_v what_o they_o do_v when_o they_o mock_v and_o reproach_v the_o people_n of_o god_n and_o when_o they_o strive_v to_o persecute_v and_o afflict_v the_o saint_n they_o little_o think_v that_o the_o lord_n take_v it_o as_o do_v unto_o himself_o and_o when_o they_o villisie_n and_o abuse_v such_o as_o be_v godly_a they_o little_o think_v that_o they_o be_v a_o trample_n under_o foot_n the_o jewel_n of_o god_n and_o fight_v against_o the_o lord_n oh_o what_o enmity_n do_v such_o poor_a soul_n manifest_v against_o the_o god_n of_o heaven_n oh_o how_o contrary_a and_o opposite_a such_o person_n be_v to_o the_o live_a god_n for_o pray_v consider_v they_o hate_v they_o but_o god_n love_v they_o they_o reproach_n they_o but_o god_n honour_v they_o they_o abuse_v they_o but_o god_n vindicate_v they_o they_o afflict_v they_o but_o god_n comfort_v they_o they_o frown_v upon_o they_o &_o pronounce_v they_o curse_v but_o god_n smile_v upon_o they_o and_o proclaim_v they_o bless_v they_o rob_v and_o spoil_v they_o and_o endeavour_v to_o deprive_v they_o of_o their_o earthly_a be_v but_o god_n take_v care_n of_o they_o and_o satisfy_v their_o soul_n with_o his_o goodness_n and_o will_v one_o day_n crown_v they_o with_o a_o heavenly_a kingdom_n thus_o the_o persecutor_n of_o zion_n do_v set_v themselves_o against_o the_o lord_n and_o oppose_v the_o mighty_a god_n of_o jacob._n they_o count_v they_o odious_a and_o filthy_a but_o god_n count_v they_o excellent_a and_o honourable_a and_o all_o this_o be_v their_o privilege_n now_o in_o this_o life_n before_o they_o come_v to_o their_o crown_n and_o glorious_a and_o honourable_a people_n but_o second_o 2._o it_o discover_v the_o happiness_n of_o god_n people_n the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v not_o only_o a_o excellent_a people_n but_o also_o a_o happy_a people_n for_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o the_o lord_n have_v prepare_v such_o a_o glorious_a kingdom_n for_o his_o people_n and_o account_v they_o worthy_a of_o such_o a_o bless_a reward_n oh_o then_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v true_a that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v a_o happy_a people_n and_o wonderful_a high_a in_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n and_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n shall_v have_v fullness_n of_o joy_n and_o unspeakable_a glory_n in_o a_o kingdom_n eternal_a oh_o than_o it_o appear_v that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v a_o bless_a people_n and_o mighty_o concern_v in_o the_o love_n of_o the_o lord_n there_o be_v no_o condition_n in_o the_o world_n can_v make_v they_o miserable_a they_o be_v always_o happy_a though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o trouble_n they_o be_v always_o bless_v though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o difficulty_n they_o be_v always_o rich_a though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o poverty_n they_o be_v always_o satisfy_v though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o hunger_n they_o have_v always_o enough_o to_o make_v they_o joyful_a though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o sorrow_n they_o have_v always_o enough_o to_o comfort_v they_o though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o discouragement_n they_o have_v always_o enough_o to_o support_v they_o though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o weakness_n they_o be_v always_o at_o liberty_n though_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o bondage_n there_o be_v nothing_o in_o this_o world_n can_v harm_v they_o so_o long_o as_o they_o be_v follower_n of_o that_o which_o be_v good_a 1_o pet._n 3.13_o oh_o what_o a_o wonderful_a privilege_n be_v this_o for_o travel_a saint_n to_o enjoy_v for_o stranger_n and_o pilgrim_n to_o partake_v of_o before_o they_o come_v at_o their_o rest_n how_o do_v this_o exceed_o proclaim_v the_o happiness_n of_o god_n people_n and_o the_o bless_a condition_n of_o all_o those_o that_o belong_v to_o jesus_n christ_n oh_o how_o may_v this_o comfort_n and_o encourage_v the_o sorrowful_a heart_n of_o many_o suffer_a saint_n and_o bear_v up_o their_o soul_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o trial_n to_o consider_v that_o though_o the_o world_n be_v their_o enemy_n yet_o still_o the_o lord_n be_v their_o friend_n and_o though_o the_o world_n hate_v they_o yet_o still_o the_o lord_n love_v they_o and_o though_o they_o be_v deprive_v it_o may_v be_v from_o friend_n and_o relation_n yet_o still_o they_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o god_n and_o he_o be_v their_o father_n and_o he_o be_v able_a to_o make_v up_o the_o loss_n of_o any_o relation_n and_o though_o they_o may_v want_v earthly_a enjoyment_n and_o worldly_a possession_n yet_o still_o they_o be_v rich_a in_o promise_n and_o heir_n of_o a_o kingdom_n and_o the_o lord_n have_v prepare_v a_o everlasting_a portion_n for_o they_o therefore_o now_o these_o thing_n consider_v do_v exceed_o discover_v the_o happy_a condition_n of_o god_n people_n whilst_o they_o be_v here_o on_o earth_n in_o their_o pilgrim-state_n beside_o that_o forementioned_a glory_n prepare_v for_o they_o in_o heaven_n for_o those_o that_o can_v claim_v a_o interest_n in_o this_o heavenly_a portion_n be_v abundant_o happy_a and_o continual_o bless_v for_o its_o a_o excellent_a fountain_n full_a of_o spiritual_a refreshment_n and_o soul-satisfaction_n in_o the_o worst_a of_o trouble_n therefore_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o our_o saviour_n christ_n do_v abundant_o proclaim_v they_o bless_v under_o this_o very_a consideration_n mat._n 5._o bless_a be_v the_o poor_a in_o spirit_n for_o they_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o i_o gather_v from_o this_o heavenly_a doctrine_n it_o inform_v we_o that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v a_o bless_a and_o happy_a people_n thus_o much_o for_o the_o first_o use_v by_o way_n of_o discovery_n but_o second_o by_o way_n of_o examination_n 2._o use_v be_v it_o so_o that_o the_o lord_n have_v prepare_v a_o kingdom_n for_o his_o people_n then_o let_v we_o serious_o examine_v whether_o we_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o this_o kingdom_n or_o no_o let_v we_o search_v and_o try_v whether_o we_o have_v any_o thing_n to_o do_v with_o this_o heavenly_a portion_n or_o whether_o we_o have_v any_o share_n in_o this_o glorious_a reward_n or_o no_o for_o pray_v consider_v serious_o what_o will_v it_o profit_v we_o to_o hear_v of_o a_o glorious_a kingdom_n prepare_v for_o the_o saint_n if_o we_o have_v no_o part_n nor_o portion_n there_o or_o what_o will_v it_o benefit_v we_o to_o hear_v of_o the_o glory_n and_o happiness_n of_o saint_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n if_o it_o do_v not_o belong_v to_o we_o alas_o it_o will_v avail_v we_o nothing_o to_o hear_v of_o these_o thing_n nor_o to_o talk_v of_o these_o
his_o earthly_a glory_n and_o dignity_n and_o do_v mighty_o bear_v up_o his_o soul_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o suffering_n yea_o further_o let_v i_o tell_v you_o this_o very_a consideration_n be_v a_o great_a support_n even_o unto_o our_o saviour_n christ_n himself_o under_o all_o his_o affliction_n and_o a_o great_a comfort_n to_o he_o in_o all_o his_o suffering_n therefore_o we_o be_v exhort_v base_a of_o the_o people_n and_o expose_v himself_o to_o such_o a_o contemptible_a course_n of_o life_n as_o to_o spend_v his_o time_n in_o the_o work_n of_o drudgery_n and_o slavish_a employment_n and_o take_v up_o his_o lodging_n with_o beggar_n on_o a_o dunghill_n or_o under_o a_o hedge_n and_o yet_o keep_v up_o his_o princely_a profession_n and_o proclaim_v himself_o to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o a_o king_n and_o heir_n to_o a_o kingdom_n i_o say_v it_o will_v be_v account_v a_o very_a unsuitable_a thing_n and_o a_o great_a dishonour_n to_o one_o of_o his_o degree_n and_o it_o will_v very_o much_o stain_v and_o diminish_v his_o reputation_n in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o world_n and_o render_v he_o very_o ridiculous_a among_o his_o friend_n and_o relation_n how_o much_o more_o will_v it_o be_v a_o unsuitable_a thing_n for_o we_o that_o profess_v ourselves_o to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o prince_n of_o heaven_n and_o heir_n to_o a_o eternal_a kingdom_n if_o we_o shall_v suffer_v the_o rag_n of_o unrighteousness_n to_o rest_v upon_o we_o and_o go_v along_o with_o the_o wicked_a in_o the_o path_n of_o impurity_n and_o exercise_v ourselves_o in_o the_o devil_n drudgery_n and_o set_v our_o affection_n upon_o the_o unprofitable_a dunghill_n of_o this_o life_n &_o take_v up_o our_o lodging_n here_o under_o the_o hedge_n of_o earthly_a vanity_n oh_o how_o unsuitable_a will_v it_o be_v to_o our_o heavenly_a profession_n and_o how_o great_o will_v it_o derogate_v from_o god_n and_o diminish_v the_o reputation_n of_o godliness_n and_o how_o unworthy_a and_o unfit_a shall_v we_o render_v ourselves_o of_o such_o a_o glorious_a inheritance_n and_o we_o shall_v cause_v the_o way_n of_o truth_n to_o be_v mighty_o abuse_v and_o manifest_v ourselves_o to_o be_v no_o better_o than_o hypocrite_n therefore_o now_o let_v we_o endeavour_v to_o regulate_v and_o order_v our_o conversation_n aright_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o walk_v circumspect_o both_o in_o word_n and_o action_n redeem_v the_o time_n because_o the_o day_n be_v evil_a and_o let_v no_o corrupt_a communication_n proceed_v out_o of_o our_o mouth_n nor_o no_o in_o they_o nor_o no_o infirmity_n nor_o blemish_n upon_o they_o but_o they_o shall_v shine_v in_o beauty_n like_o the_o brightness_n of_o the_o firmament_n and_o exceed_v the_o star_n in_o lustre_n and_o purity_n here_o be_v another_o excellent_a privilege_n and_o a_o lovely_a branch_n of_o heavenly_a happiness_n wonderful_a to_o consider_v of_o and_o marvellous_a pleasant_a will_v it_o be_v to_o enjoy_v the_o same_o it_o be_v count_v a_o great_a honour_n and_o a_o high_a privilege_n among_o the_o people_n of_o the_o world_n to_o be_v but_o a_o little_a adorn_v with_o earthly_a beauty_n or_o to_o have_v but_o a_o comely_a face_n garnish_v with_o a_o little_a natural_a brightness_n yea_o many_o time_n it_o be_v so_o high_o esteem_v and_o count_v such_o a_o rare_a privilege_n as_o it_o make_v many_o person_n proud_a and_o high-minded_a because_o of_o their_o earthly_a beauty_n and_o because_o of_o a_o comely_a face_n but_o alas_o this_o be_v nothing_o in_o comparison_n of_o that_o glory_n and_o beauty_n which_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v adorn_v withal_o when_o they_o enjoy_v this_o heavenly_a kingdom_n this_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v name_v in_o comparison_n of_o that_o purity_n and_o comeliness_n which_o shall_v be_v the_o saint_n portion_n in_o their_o father_n kingdom_n they_o shall_v have_v great_a honour_n than_o to_o be_v adorn_v with_o earthly_a beauty_n and_o natural_a comeliness_n for_o they_o shall_v be_v adorn_v with_o heavenly_a beauty_n and_o clothe_v with_o celestial_a majesty_n yea_o they_o shall_v be_v equal_a unto_o the_o angel_n for_o splendour_n and_o like_v unto_o jesus_n christ_n for_o glory_n therefore_o say_v the_o apostle_n phil._n 3.20_o 21._o our_o conversation_n be_v in_o heaven_n from_o whence_o also_o we_o look_v for_o our_o saviour_n the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n who_o shall_v change_v our_o vile_a body_n that_o they_o may_v be_v fashionod_n like_a unto_o his_o glorious_a body_n according_a to_o the_o work_n whereby_o he_o be_v able_a even_o to_o subdue_v all_o thing_n unto_o himself_o though_o now_o they_o be_v vile_a body_n attend_v with_o earthly_a corruption_n yet_o than_o they_o shall_v be_v precious_a body_n and_o mighty_o adorn_v with_o excellent_a beauty_n therefore_o say_v christ_n mat._n 13.43_o then_o shall_v the_o righteous_a shine_v forth_o as_o the_o sun_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o their_o father_n mark_v here_o be_v glorious_a beauty_n and_o wonderful_a brightness_n here_o be_v eminent_a purity_n and_o heavenly_a splendour_n the_o righteous_a shall_v shine_v like_o the_o sun_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o their_o father_n even_o whilst_o other_o be_v weep_v and_o wail_v in_o a_o furnace_n of_o fire_n oh_o what_o unspeakable_a glory_n and_o excellent_a majesty_n be_v here_o prepare_v for_o poor_a despise_a contemptible_a creature_n oh_o how_o happy_a and_o bless_a will_v all_o those_o be_v that_o shall_v be_v count_v worthy_a of_o this_o kingdom_n and_o glory_n all_o the_o pleasure_n and_o glory_n on_o earth_n be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v compare_v with_o one_o branch_n of_o this_o heavenly_a happiness_n all_o the_o honour_n and_o beauty_n under_o the_o sun_n be_v not_o able_a to_o parallel_v the_o least_o glimpse_n of_o this_o heavenly_a glory_n see_v one_o notable_a text_n more_o for_o this_o and_o so_o i_o shall_v leave_v this_o particular_a and_o proceed_v to_o another_o 1_o joh._n 3.2_o where_o the_o apostle_n be_v give_v a_o short_a discovery_n of_o the_o honour_n and_o dignity_n of_o the_o saint_n both_o here_o and_o hereafter_o belove_v say_v he_o now_o we_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o it_o do_v not_o yet_o appear_v what_o we_o shall_v be_v mark_n though_o we_o have_v so_o much_o honour_n and_o dignity_n confer_v upon_o we_o now_o at_o present_a as_o to_o be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o though_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v to_o extend_v his_o goodness_n so_o far_o towards_o we_o now_o at_o present_a as_o to_o make_v we_o his_o child_n by_o the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n yet_o it_o do_v not_o yet_o appear_v what_o we_o shall_v be_v and_o yet_o this_o be_v such_o a_o wonderful_a privilege_n as_o it_o make_v the_o apostle_n exceed_o admire_v at_o the_o consideration_n thereof_o cry_v out_o behold_v what_o manner_n of_o love_n be_v this_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o god_n he_o be_v mighty_o fill_v with_o admiration_n to_o consider_v of_o this_o wonderful_a dignity_n but_o yet_o for_o all_o this_o it_o do_v not_o yet_o appear_v what_o we_o shall_v be_v for_o we_o know_v that_o when_o he_o shall_v appear_v we_o shall_v be_v like_o he_o mark_n we_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o jesus_n christ_n bless_v as_o he_o be_v bless_v beautiful_a as_o he_o be_v beautiful_a glorious_a as_o he_o be_v glorious_a every_o way_n adorn_v with_o heavenly_a happiness_n like_a unto_o jesus_n christ_n this_o be_v also_o another_o excellent_a privilege_n or_o a_o four_o branch_n of_o that_o happiness_n which_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v make_v partaker_n of_o in_o this_o glorious_a kingdom_n five_o another_o be_v this_o 5._o they_o shall_v have_v wonderful_a glorious_a company_n and_o bless_a society_n they_o shall_v be_v continual_o honour_v with_o heavenly_a company_n and_o bless_v with_o glorious_a companion_n the_o mean_a and_o worst_a of_o their_o companion_n shall_v be_v bless_v and_o glorious_a angel_n though_o now_o it_o may_v be_v they_o be_v so_o much_o despise_v by_o the_o world_n as_o that_o they_o be_v not_o count_v worthy_a to_o dwell_v in_o the_o society_n of_o wicked_a man_n yet_o they_o be_v so_o much_o honour_v by_o the_o lord_n as_o that_o they_o shall_v one_o day_n be_v count_v worthy_a to_o dwell_v in_o the_o society_n of_o bless_a angel_n and_o they_o shall_v be_v their_o mean_a companion_n this_o be_v another_o glorious_a privilege_n &_o excellent_a dignity_n for_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o this_o heavenly_a kingdom_n they_o shall_v never_o have_v cause_n to_o complain_v of_o their_o company_n nor_o never_o have_v cause_n to_o be_v weary_a of_o their_o society_n for_o their_o mean_a company_n shall_v be_v glorious_a angel_n and_o their_o worst_a society_n shall_v be_v heavenly_a spirit_n and_o indeed_o this_o be_v a_o privilege_n which_o be_v very_o acceptable_a and_o delightful_a unto_o god_n people_n and_o high_o esteem_v and_o much_o to_o be_v desire_v among_o good_a man_n now_o upon_o earth_n i_o mean_v godly_a society_n for_o indeed_o those_o that_o true_o fear_v god_n do_v count_v it_o a_o great_a privilege_n to_o enjoy_v the_o society_n of_o good_a people_n and_o will_v reckon_v it_o a_o great_a happiness_n to_o be_v whole_o and_o altogether_o free_v from_o evil_a company_n that_o they_o may_v always_o enjoy_v the_o society_n of_o godly_a people_n therefore_o say_v david_n psal_n 16.3_o my_o goodness_n extend_v not_o only_o unto_o thou_o o_o lord_n but_o unto_o thy_o saint_n and_o excellent_a one_o in_o who_o be_v all_o my_o delight_n but_o now_o in_o this_o heavenly_a kingdom_n they_o shall_v not_o only_o have_v the_o society_n of_o saint_n and_o enjoy_v communion_n one_o with_o another_o without_o any_o mixture_n of_o evil_a but_o they_o shall_v also_o enjoy_v it_o with_o god_n and_o fellowship_n with_o jesus_n christ_n and_o have_v the_o society_n of_o bless_a and_o glorious_a angel_n therefore_o say_v the_o apostle_n heb._n 12.22_o 23._o you_o be_v come_v unto_o mount_n zion_n and_o unto_o the_o city_n of_o the_o live_a god_n the_o heavenly_a jerusalem_n and_o to_o a_o innumerable_a company_n of_o angel_n to_o the_o general_a assembly_n and_o church_n of_o the_o first-born_a and_o to_o god_n the_o judge_n of_o all_o and_o to_o the_o spirit_n of_o just_a man_n make_v perfect_a here_o be_v glorious_a company_n and_o heavenly_a society_n here_o be_v pleasant_a companion_n and_o beautiful_a partner_n here_o be_v honourable_a equal_n and_o lovely_a object_n and_o all_o to_o attend_v the_o people_n of_o god_n to_o increase_v their_o happiness_n in_o their_o father_n kingdom_n so_o that_o this_o be_v also_o another_o excellent_a privilege_n or_o a_o five_o
