LXXII GIve the king thy judgements O God and thy righteousnesse unto the kings son 2 He shall judge thy people with righteousnesse and thy poor with judgement THy judgement give the king O God his son XCII IT is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto thy Name O most High TO render thanks unto the Lord it is a comely thing And to thy name O thou most High due praises for to sing 2 To shew forth thy loving kindnesse in the morning and thy faithfulnesse every night 2 Thy loving kindnesse to â—…ew forth ev'n in the morning light And to declare the faithfulnesse that thine is ev'ry night 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the psaltery upon the harp with a solemn sound 3 Upon an instrument that hath ten strings that do rebound And also on the psalterie and harp with solemn sound 4 For thou Lord hast made me glad through thy work I will triumph in the works of thy hands 4 For thou O Lord now through thy work hast made me to be glad And in the works triumph I will which by thy hands were made 5 O Lord how great are thy works and thy thoughts are very deep 6 A brutish man knoweth not neither doth a fool understand this 5 Thy thoughts are very deep how great are works done by thy hands 6 A brutish man not knoweth this a fool not understands 7 When the wicked spring as the grasse and when all the workers of iniquity doe flourish 7 When as those that are wicked men as grasse do spring on hy And when they also flourish all that work iniquity It is that they shall be destroyed for ever 8 But thou Lord art most high for evermore It is that they for ever shall destroyed be therefore 8 But thou O Lord art the most high and that for evermore 9 For lo thine enemies O Lord for lo thine enemies shall perish all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered 9 For lo thine en'mies Lord For lo thine en'mies perish shall The workers of iniquitie they shall be scattred all 10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn I shall be anointed with fresh oil 10 But like the horn of unicorne thou shalt my horn for me Exalt on high and with fresh oyl I shall anointed be 11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me 11 Mine eye shall also my desire see on mine enemies Mine ear of ill men my desire shall hear that 'gainst me rise 12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree he shall grow like the cedar in Lebanon 12 The righteous like the palme tree then shall flourish forth anone He shall like to the Cedar grow that is in Lebanon 13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God 13 They that within the Lord his house by him fast planted are Shall of our God within the courts for ever flourish fair 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age they shall be fat and flourishing 14 And in old age
