inestimable_a goodness_n to_o thy_o glory_n will_v thou_o take_v pleasure_n so_o in_o deface_v thine_o own_o glory_n which_o appear_v and_o shine_v in_o man_n now_o we_o see_v what_o his_o mean_a be_v this_o be_v tell_v we_o and_o why_o for_o as_o i_o have_v erst_o say_v we_o set_v more_o by_o one_o year_n in_o this_o world_n than_o we_o ought_v too_o do_v by_o a_o hundred_o and_o again_o we_o consider_v not_o how_o our_o life_n be_v misguide_v when_o it_o be_v not_o put_v to_o the_o true_a use_n of_o of_o it_o so_o much_o the_o more_o than_o stand_v it_o we_o in_o hand_n to_o bethink_v we_o well_o of_o such_o say_n and_o warn_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n that_o man_n bear_v of_o woman_n be_v of_o a_o very_a short_a and_o flightful_a life_n but_o for_o the_o better_a conceive_n of_o this_o shortness_n we_o must_v also_o match_v it_o with_o the_o trouble_n that_o be_v in_o it_o for_o put_v case_n that_o our_o life_n be_v far_o long_o what_o cause_n have_v we_o to_o like_v so_o well_o of_o it_o see_v we_o be_v so_o vex_v in_o it_o why_o do_v we_o not_o rather_o come_v to_o the_o seek_v of_o the_o rest_n that_o be_v prepare_v for_o we_o in_o heaven_n and_o heerewithall_o we_o have_v further_a to_o mark_v from_o whence_o these_o trouble_n come_v upon_o we_o that_o be_v to_o wit_n from_o our_o own_o naughty_a affection_n for_o if_o we_o be_v trouble_v but_o by_o other_o folk_n and_o in_o the_o mean_a while_o be_v at_o rest_n in_o ourselves_o yea_o very_o at_o true_a rest_n we_o may_v well_o complain_v of_o our_o disquietness_n that_o this_o present_a life_n have_v not_o his_o free_a course_n and_o that_o it_o go_v not_o in_o his_o own_o pace_n but_o forasmuch_o as_o every_o man_n be_v a_o hangman_n to_o himself_o as_o i_o have_v say_v already_o and_o our_o own_o lust_n passion_n and_o desire_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o our_o unquietness_n and_o encumbrance_n to_o who_o or_o against_o who_o shall_v we_o make_v our_o complaint_n then_o let_v we_o learn_v of_o one_o than_o we_o be_v at_o this_o day_n we_o be_v fall_v from_o the_o state_n wherein_o god_n have_v set_v adam_n and_o all_o mankind_n in_o adam_n person_n adam_n be_v create_v after_o the_o image_n of_o god_n and_o endue_v with_o excellent_a gift_n of_o grace_n yea_o and_o unsubiect_n to_o death_n and_o what_o import_v that_o image_n of_o god_n a_o perfectness_n a_o righteousness_n and_o so_o let_v we_o all_o say_v almighty_a god_n heavenly_a father_n thou_o haste_v promise_v too_o hear_v our_o request_n which_o we_o make_v unto_o thou_o in_o the_o name_n of_o thy_o son_n etc_n etc_n the_o lxxxviij_o sermon_n which_o be_v the_o first_o upon_o the_o xxiij_o chapter_n this_o sermon_n contain_v yet_o some_o thing_n of_o that_o which_o concern_v the_o three_o last_o verse_n and_o righteous_a shall_v debate_v with_o he_o and_o i_o shall_v be_v acquit_v for_o ever_o we_o have_v here_o to_o confer_v the_o last_o say_n of_o eliphas_n with_o the_o answer_n of_o job_n which_o we_o have_v now_o hear_v eliphas_n on_o his_o behalf_n maintain_v that_o god_n will_v always_o know_v they_o that_o be_v righteous_a and_o not_o only_o show_v they_o favour_n but_o the_o whole_a country_n for_o their_o sake_n job_n answer_v to_o this_o that_o although_o he_o be_v extreme_o deal_v with_o at_o god_n hand_n it_o be_v not_o because_o he_o have_v deserve_v it_o and_o for_o proof_n thereof_o he_o say_v that_o if_o he_o have_v leave_v and_o liberty_n to_o plead_v his_o case_n he_o will_v well_o declare_v that_o it_o be_v not_o for_o his_o sin_n that_o god_n do_v so_o punish_v he_o these_o be_v the_o two_o contrary_a say_n that_o be_v treat_v of_o here_o now_o touch_v the_o first_o which_o be_v the_o say_n of_o eliphas_n it_o be_v true_a that_o our_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o show_v himself_o merciful_a toward_o they_o that_o serve_v he_o with_o a_o pure_a heart_n and_o that_o the_o same_o shall_v extend_v not_o only_o to_o their_o own_o person_n but_o also_o to_o their_o family_n yea_o &_o to_o whole_a country_n yet_o notwithstanding_o it_o follow_v not_o that_o god_n will_v bind_v himself_o to_o one_o certain_a rule_n for_o we_o see_v how_o he_o try_v the_o patience_n of_o his_o servant_n and_o of_o those_o that_o endeavour_n to_o obey_v he_o in_o every_o point_n then_o deal_v he_o not_o all_o after_o one_o rate_n as_o we_o have_v declare_v here_o before_o â–ª_o and_o in_o deed_n although_o it_o be_v say_v here_o that_o a_o country_n shall_v be_v deliver_v by_o the_o cleanness_n of_o one_o man_n band_n we_o hear_v the_o prophet_n ezechiell_n say_v contrariwise_o if_o job_n daniel_n &_o no_n be_v in_o this_o town_n they_o shall_v deliver_v their_o own_o soul_n but_o yet_o shall_v their_o child_n perish_v it_o seem_v in_o deed_n that_o the_o prophet_n there_o have_v respect_n unto_o this_o place_n here_o to_o show_v that_o god_n be_v not_o bind_v to_o save_v a_o country_n for_o one_o man_n sake_n only_o if_o he_o do_v it_o as_o it_o may_v happen_v that_o he_o wilâ—_n it_o be_v at_o his_o own_o liberty_n but_o to_o appoint_v he_o a_o law_n be_v a_o thing_n to_o unreasonable_a truth_n it_o be_v that_o it_o be_v say_v to_o abraham_n but_o one_o righteous_a man_n in_o a_o country_n for_o his_o sake_n the_o country_n shall_v be_v save_v but_o this_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v rack_v out_o so_o far_o as_o we_o have_v declare_v but_o but_o yet_o do_v we_o not_o yield_v god_n the_o power_n that_o be_v due_a to_o he_o and_o which_o we_o ought_v to_o conceive_v in_o he_o for_o we_o talk_v of_o his_o majesty_n and_o his_o name_n run_v round_o in_o our_o mouth_n as_o in_o way_n of_o contempt_n â–ª_o and_o oftentimes_o we_o talk_v of_o he_o in_o way_n of_o scorn_n and_o mockage_n it_o be_v to_o be_v see_v that_o man_n be_v out_o of_o in_o they_o but_o if_o man_n submit_v themselves_o to_o god_n willing_o and_o yield_v he_o the_o honour_n that_o belong_v unto_o he_o that_o which_o be_v speak_v here_o of_o his_o army_n or_o host_n shall_v not_o serve_v too_o fray_v they_o but_o rather_o to_o glad_v they_o and_o sure_o when_o the_o scripture_n tell_v we_o that_o god_n have_v many_o thousand_o of_o angel_n about_o he_o ready_a to_o do_v his_o commandment_n what_o intend_v it_o else_o but_o too_o make_v we_o understand_v that_o when_o god_n have_v receive_v we_o to_o his_o favour_n he_o be_v strong_a enough_o to_o keep_v we_o safe_a notwithstanding_o that_o we_o be_v assail_v on_o all_o side_n therefore_o when_o man_n utter_v all_o the_o force_n that_o they_o â–ª_o have_v practise_v this_o and_o that_o to_o destroy_v we_o yea_o and_o when_o the_o devil_n himself_o rise_v up_o against_o we_o we_o must_v not_o be_v afraid_a why_o so_o because_o god_n have_v his_o heavenly_a army_n to_o defend_v we_o according_a as_o it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o angel_n incamp_v themselves_o round_o about_o we_o and_o that_o he_o have_v appoint_v his_o angel_n to_o guide_v we_o so_o as_o the_o faithful_a person_n shall_v not_o stumble_v we_o see_v then_o that_o the_o infinite_a number_n of_o angel_n serve_v to_o comfort_v we_o to_o the_o end_n we_o may_v be_v sure_a that_o god_n will_v succour_n we_o at_o our_o need_n and_o job_n be_v none_o of_o those_o that_o be_v draw_v hither_o and_o thither_o by_o fleshly_a affection_n but_o have_v always_o his_o eye_n upon_o this_o mark_n of_o regard_v and_o follow_v the_o thing_n that_o god_n allow_v and_o here_o you_o see_v how_o we_o ought_v to_o rule_v our_o life_n for_o job_n here_o preach_v not_o his_o own_o praise_n but_o show_v we_o how_o we_o ought_v to_o behave_v ourselves_o and_o forasmuch_o as_o there_o be_v nothing_o easy_a than_o to_o advance_v our_o self_n when_o the_o world_n laugh_v upon_o we_o and_o man_n praise_v we_o and_o we_o be_v in_o reputation_n and_o credit_n here_o job_n bring_v we_o unto_o god_n and_o tell_v we_o that_o as_o he_o only_o be_v our_o judge_n to_o who_o pertain_v the_o authority_n to_o govern_v we_o &_o to_o be_v our_o misintreat_v as_o when_o some_o be_v in_o necessity_n for_o want_n of_o worldly_a good_n some_o be_v wrest_v and_o wrong_v by_o other_o man_n some_o stand_n in_o need_n of_o counsel_n and_o othersome_a lack_n help_v then_o do_v god_n mean_a to_o try_v our_o charity_n then_o put_v he_o we_o to_o the_o touchstone_n and_o if_o we_o shrink_v aside_o when_o the_o poor_a cry_v and_o give_v no_o ear_n to_o he_o thereby_o we_o show_v that_o we_o be_v neither_o zealous_a nor_o willing_a too_o serve_v god_n and_o let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o this_o threat_n the_o poor_a cry_v and_o thou_o will_v not_o hear_v he_o and_o therefore_o thou_o shall_v cry_v and_o not_o be_v hear_v neither_o shall_v any_o man_n pity_v thou_o shall_v be_v execute_v upon_o our_o head_n for_o we_o that_o mercy_n be_v one_o of_o the_o principal_a part_n of_o our_o life_n if_o it_o be_v rule_v by_o god_n order_n and_o what_o import_v this_o say_n even_o that_o when_o we_o see_v any_o man_n in_o
